29/06/2026: Save yourself the trip.
When we made the reservation, we were told we could sit outside. However, when we arrived, it turned out to be a huge, open-air restaurant. Some of the windows were broken, rusty, and dirty. The acoustics were terrible because only about a third of the space had wooden tables and chairs; the rest was empty.
I've never seen such a neglected and dirty restaurant.
Behind the counter, it looked like a slaughterhouse: empty and full bottles, countless dirty glasses, trash, rags, cans, and open cans.
There was also green artificial grass under the tables, like carpets—completely unsuitable for indoor use.
The food was actually good, but the portions were small, and the price was very high for what you get. €20-26 for an appetizer. But I wouldn't even consider it worth €10 because the lack of cleanliness and the atmosphere were unacceptable.
28/06/2026: A great location to watch the sunset over dinner. Fresh seafood dishes are beautifully prepared by the chefs. Great prices on regional wines. The service, coordinated by Nicola, was excellent. My compliments to Angelica and her staff. Highly recommended.

12/07/2026: We visited this spot several times during our stay in Cardedu to end the day with an Aperol Spritz or two. From the slightly elevated terrace, there's a lovely view of Spiaggia Baccu e Praidas or the neighboring Spiaggetta. The staff were always very friendly and efficient. And after our extensive tasting, we'd say they serve the best Aperol Spritz in the area.

02/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant on a Monday in June. We recommend it for both the food and the very kind and friendly service. We ate the suckling pig despite the difficulty finding it in various restaurants. The setting is simple but elegant, and the atmosphere is serene.
15/05/2026: If I pay €18 for a plate of pasta with sausage and tomato, I expect either a huge portion or excellent quality. Unfortunately, we found neither. The location is very nice and the waiters very friendly, but the food has the quality of a bar but the prices of a fine restaurant.

When we wanted to order food, they very unpleasantly informed us that we could not order food, only drinks, without explanation, even though all the tables around us had food on the table.

07/06/2026: A great experience, but one I wouldn't repeat at this hotel. We get by, but for the price we paid during the low season, it seems disproportionate. We were given a Basic room, but it was probably in a converted basement. The small balcony overlooked the back of the hotel, where the cleaning ladies hung out towels. In the evenings, it was hard to sleep because of the crowds practically outside the door, spending the evening together (and rightly so), and in the morning, the cleaning ladies were starting their shifts.
The beach service is okay, convenient, and just a few minutes' walk away.
The restaurant service is pretty awful for those who know real cuisine.
We spoke to a receptionist for some information, who was truly unprofessional and unhelpful with requests.
The gentleman in the breakfast room is one of the few positives besides the hotel's location.
I don't know if I'd recommend this place to friends.
07/06/2026: I booked months in advance, and they put me in a room next to the cleaning service area. In the morning, I would wake up to the noise of the cleaning staff, and in the evening, having the outdoor sofas pushed against the wall, I could hear the noise until late. I went to the restaurant once, and the swordfish inside was raw. The lifeguards were very friendly, but the lady at reception with glasses didn't do anything to help, and offered no hospitality.
The breakfast was good, and the gentleman in the breakfast room was very friendly. It's in a good location, close to the most beautiful beaches. I've attached some photos of the room and the view from the balcony.

29/10/2025: Location admittedly lovely; the view across the beach is beautiful, but that’s where the positives end. We shared one grilled fish (600g) and were charged €45, without being told the price in advance. The so-called “tomato salad” was literally just a few flavourless tomato quarters, no dressing or seasoning. Chips were fine (hard to get those wrong), but overall the food was completely underwhelming for what we paid.
We were shocked to get a €76 bill for a very mediocre lunch for two. Definitely not worth it … you’re paying for the view, not the quality.
28/10/2025: I got a fish (600gram) I paid 45 euros o think even fish didn't give that value to himself i won't go back again

09/07/2026: The burgers are awful because they contain a meat substitute that looks and tastes frankly disgusting, inedible.
For €14 a burger: they have no shame serving that!
Well located on the port, that's all.
For comparison, we ate that same evening at the best trattoria in Villasimius: €18 for a mixed platter of fish and seafood, very good and generous.
01/07/2026: Located on the port square, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. The pinsa is rich and filling, and the marinaro sandwich is special, with lots of salmon and shrimp. I might disagree with the 10% surcharge for table service, but they're very clear and clearly marked on the menu, and we didn't have to pay for it. We're very satisfied! 😊

13/09/2025: While eating there today with a friend, we paid two different bills, we should have paid 20 euros each, unfortunately my friend's bill was 4 euros plus and I was 8 euros plus, so be careful when paying.
08/09/2025: The food was very small and really not good. You have to wait a long time. Oil and vinegar come in individual packets. If you come from the harbor side, the name leads you to believe you're in a better-rated restaurant. It wasn't very busy, but I still had to actively seek out the server. Sitting right by the harbor was quite nice, though. And at first, the music was very loud, but it got quieter later.

Hotel Ristorante Le Anfore

18/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel with two children for three nights in mid-October.
Check-in was very pleasant. They explained to us which direction the wind would be blowing in the next few days and which beaches they recommended.
The in-house restaurant was a dream in terms of food, so we spent two evenings there. The service staff was also very good.
Whether at meals or at reception, the staff were always friendly. That's unfortunately still rare in Germany. And I trained as a hotel manager myself and always look at the restaurant industry with a strict eye. I like to find something to complain about. ;-) Not at this hotel, however.
Unfortunately, the pool wasn't heated. But that didn't bother my husband and children.
The rooms were cleaned daily. There were more than enough towels. You could borrow umbrellas, toys, etc. for the beach. The Wi-Fi was faster than at home.
The city center was a 15-minute walk away.
It was the perfect location for us.
The nearest beaches are a 5-minute drive away, the city center and supermarket are 2 minutes away, and the location is quiet with a view of the mountains.
18/10/2025: The rooms are a bit dated, but this is more than compensated for by the overall package and, above all, the incredible friendliness and humanity of the staff.
-Eating in the restaurant in the evening is highly recommended 👍🏽
-Superbly maintained grounds and a beautiful (unheated) pool 👍🏽
-There are several cats living on the property, and when our children wanted to pet them, a staff member was immediately on hand to give them small treats to entice them 👍🏽
-When one of our children injured his knee, he received immediate help, the wound was cleaned, and he was given a hug. You could really feel the humanity shown to you🫶🏼
-Moderate breakfast buffet, but you don't need more than that 👍🏽
-Really good location, great advice on beaches, etc. 👍🏽
Highly recommended, many thanks to everyone involved with the hotel.

10/08/2025: Il locale è si trova in una bellissima location sul Porto di Villasimius a due massi dal mare e offre prodotti tipici di mare di estrema qualità (molto buono il fritto misto). Fin da subito sono stata accolta da camerieri cordiali e attenti ad ogni mia esigenza. Al momento del pagamento anche se c'è stato un piccolo fraintendimento riguardo ad una discrepanza grazie alla volontà del personale nel risolvere il problema posso dire di aver vissuto una bella esperienza . Il proprietario si è mostrato presente e aperto al dialogo.

26/06/2025: Tra il Beach Bar, il ristorante e tutti i servizi sdrai/lettini troviamo un servizio completo.
Il ristorante seppur sotto il sole, è ben ventilato, curato e pulito, ottimo il menù proposto, rapido e gustoso, qui regna l’igiene, lo dimostra pure il fatto che seppur sia molto frequentato, i servizi igienici, sono molto seguiti e puliti.
Il Beach Bar, una piccola zona rinfrescante, si trova di tutto con gentilezza.
Il TOP lo si trova alla prenotazione dei lettini, va dal comune sdraio al gazebo matrimoniale, certo i prezzi sono un pochino tanto alti, ma il mare, la sabbia fine e la zona ripagano
