30/04/2025: Came across Bar Ice Cream on the way to the laundromat. And decided to try s couple of things. The cannoli was super nice, fresh and very tasty. The gelato I had was the Apple and wow it was so good! One of the better gelato I’ve had since being in Martina Franco! Also my wife and I enjoyed the coffee. The service was really good, welcoming with that typical Italian service and staff wearing traditional uniforms! A huge recommendation for Bar Ice Cream!

20/03/2025: We found ourselves by chance in this take-away restaurant and not only for lunch. My husband and I chose the cavatelli with seafood and he also chose the Sicilian scallops. All delicious and generous portions! To finish, a truly exquisite tiramisu and all at an honest price. The boy behind the counter is very friendly: he brought the dishes to the table. We will definitely return when we come to Martina Franca. Highly recommended

The bombette were delicious, I've never eaten anything so good, if it hadn't closed we would have ordered more. It's a bit out of the way from the historic center but it's worth the drive.

15/06/2025: We were there last night for a dinner with a couple of friends, ordered 2 appetizers of the house, each appetizer recommended for 2 people. Poor and sad appetizer for quantity and variety. Price not justified, in fact expensive. Not to return.

27/06/2025: Excellent dishes but revisit the prices. Paying almost €50 per person in a trattoria is madness. Appetizer that does not include courses but a single dish with little stuff, vegetables in oil thrown there in the middle of 4 slices of capocollo and two of salami. a plate of orecchiette with sauce although very good for €12, little choice of dishes and between the two options of first courses you could only get the orecchiette. It's okay that a few dishes is better than having 10 but at least the choice between two seems the minimum, a person intolerant to gluten would not have been able to eat. When we asked to have a plate of broad beans (menu dish) they told us that they had run out. With €50 per person I expect to eat refined dishes and with expensive ingredients, I repeat, with all due respect for a plate of pasta with ragù. Disappointed.

La qualità del cibo è eccezionale, veramente di primissima qualità. Abbinamenti e presentazione dei piatti fatti con passione. Si nota subito la passione che tutto lo staff mette in ogni singola portata. Servizio ottimo, professionale e molto ma molto curato. La location è un posto fantastico, tranquillo, ideale per un pranzo o cena in perfetto relax. Sono anni che siamo loro clienti e le nostre aspettative sono sempre state soddisfatte. Prezzi in linea con la qualità del servizio e dei prodotti. Villa bacco è un locale che consiglio a tutti assolutamente. P.s. una volta provato crea dipendenza 😂.

29/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante con un gruppo di amici, attirati dalla location all'aperto, ma purtroppo senza aver letto nessuna recensione, ma la realtà si è rivelata un vero incubo. Già all’arrivo il locale ci è apparso in condizioni fatiscenti: muri scrostati, arredi trascurati, pulizia praticamente inesistente. Mentre prendevamo posto, con nostro enorme stupore (e disgusto), abbiamo visto dei ratti camminare tranquillamente a pochi metri da noi, come se fossero clienti abituali. Avremmo dovuto alzarci e andare via subito, ma purtroppo, per educazione, abbiamo deciso di restare… e abbiamo fatto malissimo. Il servizio non è stato gran che, anche se c'era una sola cameriera e le ordinazioni sono state prese dal titolare che con fare arrogante ci ha zittiti per non ripetere due volte la esposizione delle portate da servire o consigliare. I tempi d’attesa sono stati abbastanza ridotti come quando le portate dei piatti sono pronte già da molto tempo. Abbiamo ricevuto piatti freddi, mal presentati e di qualità davvero scadente, con abbondanza di cipolle in tutte le salse: ingredienti insapori, prodotti di bassa categoria e porzioni misere. Alcuni piatti erano persino diversi da quelli ordinati o mai ordinati. Il peggio, però, è arrivato al momento del conto. Ci è stato presentato un totale salatissimo, a dir poco spropositato,con piatti e bevande mai richiesti né consumati, e quando abbiamo fatto notare l’errore, il proprietario si è dimostrato arrogante e aggressivo, arrivando persino a minacciarci verbalmente davanti alla porta del locale. Abbiamo dovuto chiamare i Carabinieri, perché la situazione stava degenerando e ci siamo sentiti messi in pericolo. A nostro avviso, un’attività del genere non dovrebbe rimanere aperta nemmeno un giorno di più. Sconsiglio categoricamente a chiunque di mettere piede in questo posto. Non solo per il cibo di infima qualità, ma soprattutto per la totale mancanza di rispetto, igiene e legalità. Un’esperienza da dimenticare, ma che purtroppo non dimenticheremo facilmente.
