03/05/2025: What can I say, an easy-going trattoria, in my opinion the hygiene leaves something to be desired. Waiters pay little attention to customer needs, fortunately not all of them. For the rest, the price is proportionate to the food. What is certain is that we will never go back there again.

15/06/2025: Last night we had the misfortune of booking here to eat a pizza with friends: BAD IDEA! 😡As soon as we arrived we waited a long time because no one came to welcome us. As soon as we sat down, the one who we later discovered was the owner, started screaming (strictly with a mask on her chin) because the waitress had seated us at the wrong table. At the table the cleanliness of the plates and glasses left a lot to be desired! 😱They had the table near the oven so we saw everything and above all we heard the owner screaming and yelling at everyone, among other things she topped the pizzas with the same hands that handled money, dirty plates and hair (which sometimes she fixed). 🤢After an almost non-existent portion of chips we ate the pizza at 11:30 pm!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
But how dare she be so RUDE! First of all, everyone can confirm that her hair was loose, the girl called her who stamped the receipt, and it's not that we had nothing to say at the table there were children who rightly were hungry at 11pm!! My husband got up because the pizzas had been there for several minutes and nobody likes cold pizza!! And we certainly didn't go to bed after leaving his "restaurant"! Instead of laughing, think that if he were to receive an ASL check he would close immediately
08/06/2025: Excellent place to spend a nice evening with the family and meet fun and social people... excellent service and above all (being a meat lover) an excellent cut... Mrs Raffaella then with her smile gives a frame to the whole picture

31/03/2025: I ordered a plate of sliced chicken with vegetables and burrata so I can't comment on the pizza because I haven't tasted it but it looked delicious. I tasted a fabulous Ciccio to accompany my meat which was of excellent quality, very tender. The ingredients were all excellent not to mention the burrata which was simply fabulous. A hearty and complete dish of potatoes and grilled vegetables. We ordered the chips and battered vegetables. I wasn't crazy about the latter because they were a little rubbery. I didn't like the fact that 7 of us were placed in a space for 6 and that we were all stuck together at other tables but otherwise the service was fairly quick and for a second course or pizza each, water/beer and 2 portions of chips and vegetables in batter in the center of the table we spent €20 per person.

14/04/2025: Posto accogliente, però il cibo non è una dei migliori. Il sugo non aveva un sapore, sembrava ketchup. La cotoletta, buona ma non molto a causa della panatura. Inoltre, era molto sottile. Spero, che era una giornata no, perché è una pizzeria/ristorante che ha molte potenzialità.
07/04/2025: L’impasto della pizza buonissimo ,soffice e leggero. Gli ingredienti messi insieme nelle giuste quantità . Accostamenti deliziosi.

01/02/2025: ORGANIZZAZIONE PESSIMA
siamo arrivati alle 21:00 e la prima pizza è arrivata alle 22:40, tra l’altro sbagliata.. il mio amico voleva una PISTACCHIO ed è arrivata proprio senza (non chiedeva molto). Le altre pizze sono iniziate ad arrivare alle 23 quando ci siamo alzati per lamentarci più volte e anche il tavolo di fianco a noi è andato via senza mangiare in quanto l’attesa era davvero lunga. Le prime pizze arrivano a round di 5/10 minuti (praticamente uno finiva e l’altro iniziava a mangiare). Sono arrivate, nel corso di questi round, pizze sbagliate, pizze a doppio e pizze senza i condimenti richiesti. Che dire, il proprietario non aveva nemmeno nulla da dire a riguardo per quanto fosse allibito anche lui della situazione, e una cameriera mi ha detto che non è un caso ma è una cosa che succede spesso. Non ci tornerò MAI piu nella vita e consiglio, a voi lettori, di non prenotare.

31/03/2025: Il ristorante è nel cuore del centro storico e sembra avere assorbito dal contesto in cui si trova i valori della tradizione. Chi mangia qui, infatti, si aspetta di gustare solo piatti della gastronomia locale. E le orecchiette e gli antipasti che ho gustato hanno pienamente soddisfatto le aspettative.
14/12/2024: Recommended to us by a dear friend from Grottaglie, it absolutely met our expectations, indeed .. exceeded them! The fried foods are delicious (we had bread balls, stuffed jalapenos and artichokes. All homemade). The cheese platter was plentiful and of high quality, full of fruit and jams. In short, a beautiful surprise in the historic center, with an ancient charm decorated for Christmas.
PS. Super gin and tonic, also good in cocktails.
We will be back soon.. the three of us! 😉.

22/02/2025: Presso la pizzeria La Svolta, in Via Ponchielli n. 30 a Grottaglie, di Barbara e Federico Rossini, avete la possibilità di mangiare la pizza più gustosa e buona, che abbiate mai mangiato in vita vostra, e credetemi non esagero affatto.
Federico Rossini, appartenente ad una famiglia di Pizzaioli di tradizione, e non come potrebbe trarre in inganno il suo cognome, di musicisti, è un vero Maestro che mescola attentamente tutti gli ingredienti dell'impasto, ingredienti sempre di prima qualità; la pizza è cotta rigorosamente in un forno a legna e anche qui, Federico controlla minuziosamente la cottura, ne deriva come risultato finale, una pizza sublime per palati veramente fini, servita ai tavoli dal grande Sig.Davide, un Signore di altri tempi. molto gentile; consiglio a tutti, vivamente questa pizzeria, non andate a Napoli alla Pizzeria di Flavio Briatore per spendere 17 euro per una Margherita o peggio 60 euro per un altro tipo di pizza, con molto meno, alla Svolta avrete una pizza molto migliore e appunto, spenderete molto meno.
