07/09/2025: We got married on August 2, 2025. The reception hall was wonderful, with an elegant and refined exterior and a fabulous interior. The staff was incredibly professional. We will never forget your kindness and the passion you have for your work. Mr. Angelo D'Anzi, the owner, was wonderful, kind, and available to us and our guests. Thanks again. Highly recommended.

20/10/2025: A very beautiful, well-kept location, surrounded by greenery. The property appears to have been recently renovated and meticulously maintained.
Clean rooms, a very comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom made for a pleasant one-night stay.
Unfortunately, it was raining and I couldn't enjoy the outside view, but from what little I saw, I'm very satisfied.
The cuisine was very good, using quality local products. The service was also excellent, and the welcome lived up to expectations.
Well done!

10/09/2025: My mother in law and I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful braceria in Ginosa, and I just have to share how fantastic it was, even if this review is late (so sorry)! The place specialises in a variety of meats, as other bracierie, but it was truly an unforgettable experience. I don’t think I have ever had any meat more delicious than what we had that night. The food was absolutely excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
We came down from northern Italy, and the hospitality we received was just over the top. The hosts were incredibly kind, and when they found out how far we had traveled, they even gave us a little gift of home made biscuits (also very delicious) for the road! It was just that kind of personal touch that made us feel so at home.
If you’re ever in Ginosa or Matera (where every place is fully booked and overpriced) and you love great meat selections and genuine hospitality, this is a must visit. Thanks to the entire family working there (and Anna Rosa in particular) for an experience we’re still talking about months later!

09/12/2025: Five of us went to this restaurant for a family lunch and had a truly wonderful time. The experience was incredibly positive: quick and attentive service, and the waiter was extremely friendly and always available. We were also impressed by the food; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The professionalism of the entire staff was evident.
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

25/08/2025: I accidentally stumbled upon it one Sunday in August at lunchtime, and found myself in a dark place with a young man at the cash register serving focaccia worth its weight in gold and of questionable quality. I would have preferred to wait in line for half an hour at other bakeries than eat a focaccia that was barely manageable.

02/08/2025: I already left a negative review three years ago, and I won't change it. Quite the opposite! Yesterday, after a while, I returned for an aperitif with my friends. Here's a summary of the evening. The reservation had been mishandled, so we ended up with fewer seats. We could have added them on the spot, but they were removed halfway through the evening because more people were arriving. These seats were assigned to our children, who still enjoyed their drinks. To send us away, they quietly asked us for seats; so we took them and stood up. When we got to the cash register, the owner made some rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful remarks toward us, even toward some of us. I... definitely won't be back!
29/07/2025: Very nice and modern bar/pastry shop. Well-kept and clean. I had an excellent breakfast with a freshly filled white chocolate krapfen. The staff was very kind and helpful. Recommended.

23/10/2025: Truly local experience of an Italian trattoria run by a family. Simple dishes with high quality ingredients, reasonable prices, friendly service. Great pizza - the crust was just perfect, a bit on the crunchy side. Takeaway option available. They're open also off season, and usually busy with the locals. A top pick in Marina di Ginosa, if you're looking for an authentic culinary experience.

Dated location, slow and inattentive service.
Outside restrooms, accessible via a path lined with unkempt plants.
Prices are average, but overall, it's good enough to return.
31/08/2025: Terrible, the wait was just over two hours for pizzas, and the place wasn't even full. The service was disorganized, I saw people falling asleep on the tables waiting... totally disgusting, don't go there and you'll save your evening.

Macelleria Rosticceria Vito Ribecco

23/06/2025: Esperienza deludente da Ribecco la sera del 23 giugno 2025. Appena servita la fiorentina, il proprietario ha sbattuto con forza il coltello sul tavolo, creando un rumore eccessivo e rischiando di far male a qualcuno: gesto inaccettabile in un locale che si definisce ristorante. Inoltre, il titolare ha preso eccessiva confidenza con i clienti: personalmente, mi ha deriso per l’accento e ha persino pronunciato frasi volgari e fuori luogo come "ti stai facendo una sega", cosa mai vista in un contesto che dovrebbe garantire rispetto e professionalità. A tutto questo si aggiunge un conto sproporzionato rispetto alla quantità e qualità della carne servita. Non consiglio il locale, ambiente rozzo e gestione decisamente fuori luogo.
11/05/2025: Ribecco è una macelleria con annesso uno stanzone, illuminato da luce artificiale, che fa da osteria.
L'accoglienza è sempre truce e priva di sorrisi, è evidente che la ristorazione non è il loro campo.
Nonostante la location triste e i musi lunghi, da Ribecco, se non prenoti, rischi di non trovare posto.
Veniamo al cibo.
Gli antipasti caserecci sono veramente eccezionali e vari, di gran lunga più gustosi dei soliti copia e incolla serviti di solito in altri locali. Sono originali e di ottima qualità.
La carne è strepitosa e cotta magistralmente. Il titolare stesso, persona lunatica, che alterna simpatia con modi bruschi, la serve al tavolo su di una piastra di pietra lavica bollente. La taglia lui stesso e la impiatta. Consiglio la picanha, che però va ordinata al momento della prenotazione.
