31/12/2025: I've been frequenting this pizzeria during the holidays since I was a child, and I recognize that it's one of the very few places where the pizza (excellent) and the paposce have never changed, and that's a great blessing. Thank you for maintaining the goodness and quality over the years. Highly recommended.
06/12/2025: You can feel the tradition. Excellent quality and wonderful people. Everything is beautiful. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the aromas of Apulian and Gargano cuisine. The prices are fair for what you get. I felt at home.

02/12/2025: Gradually, this bar has become a go-to spot for breakfast and aperitifs in the village of Vico del Gargano. It's also gained some notoriety by opening a small restaurant, focusing on local ingredients, offering good quantities at competitive prices. The variety has improved. Well done, highly recommended.

08/12/2025: Passed by this place on the way to Vico del Gargano. Stopped for a coffee and something sweet. Very cozy place! No experience of the rooms, only the cafe. If you pass by, you have to stop! ☕️

14/09/2025: We stayed here at the end of April 2025. Despite arriving very late, the owner seated us without any hassle. We ate exquisite meat, samphire, and surprising, sophisticated desserts. As if that weren't enough, we were amazed not only by the quality of the food but also by the extremely reasonable price. An unexpected and fantastic discovery. We've now returned to Gargano on vacation, and our first thought upon arrival was: on Wednesday, we'll be back in Vico del Garda at the Giulio Cesare grill!
07/09/2025: This year, we were disappointed compared to the past. The meat is always excellent, but the wait is incredibly long, difficult to manage when you have children.
The platter of cured meats and cheeses was truly meager, therefore very expensive in terms of quantity/price.
When the platter with the meat we chose finally arrived (for 7 people), the accompanying side dish, which was included, consisted of only two sliced potatoes (not even two potato slices per person).
The price was too high for what we ate.

15/09/2025: Excellent Paposcia with top-quality ingredients, never disappointing. We've been going for years and the quality is always the same. The staff is very kind and friendly. Prices for all budgets.
28/08/2025: Every time I visit Gargano, I make a stop here with my family. The paposcia is truly delicious, as is the pizza (which I tried due to a misunderstanding between me and the waitress): the dough is truly light and well-cooked. The only thing that could be improved is the service, but I don't mind that since it's a family-run restaurant; however, with some improvement, they would certainly be at an even higher level. If you visit Gargano, do as I do: make a stop here.

25/11/2025: Open Nov 25th no toilets or showers for use, but they do have electricity, water and places to dump
14/11/2025: Good spot, right on the beach with simple but adequate facilities. Entry is via a barrier with a ticket; to leave, you have to find someone in the morning to pay and validate your ticket. It's possible that someone won't show up until around 10 am. There are several pitches with direct water views and some shady spots further back.

06/12/2025: We stayed at this property where we found a level of cleanliness that's hard to find. Modernity in the rooms: smart TVs, air conditioning, electric shutters. A top restaurant with delicious food, featuring extraordinary cuisine and, above all, fresh produce. A beautifully maintained and immaculate green outdoor space. Extremely friendly waiters and qualified staff. A shuttle service to and from the beach, car parking, and the ultimate in tranquility and relaxation. I recommend it to everyone, even families with children.
Don't miss this location if you're in the area, even for just one dinner. The sea view from the restaurant is simply breathtaking!

27/09/2025: We had no complaints about the quality of the food. Unfortunately, we found the menu a bit unclear (so to speak). The citrus risotto was priced at €20 (for two portions). In the end, the price was €20 per dish. We therefore urge management to revise the menu to be clearer, more transparent, and more comprehensible. Sometimes the details are the perfect backdrop for a place that, aside from the aforementioned detail, is truly delightful from every perspective.

16/01/2026: After over 10 hours of work, we just wanted a decent pizza.
I decided to try a new place: a huge mistake.
The pizza was visibly burned, with a black crust and a bitter, charred taste. We're not talking about "overcooking," but rather the dough was completely ruined, inedible (as you can see from the photos).
Paying for such a product is unacceptable.
Working with food requires attention, expertise, and respect for customers: I found none of this here.
Awful experience.
I certainly won't be returning, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

03/02/2026: Excellent value for money. Overall, it's a good place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, and that alone makes me give it the highest star rating. The building is a bit dated, but that's also something to be appreciated. We had a great time. I recommend it.

02/09/2025: I had booked an 8-day full-board stay. Unfortunately, due to my wife's health, I had to cancel after two days. I left at night, informing the concierge of my early departure. I should point out that I paid for everything upon arrival. My main disappointment was not receiving a call from management. However, even though I only stayed two days, I can't say I was satisfied. I wasn't satisfied with the restaurant at all. Poor quality and limited choice of side dishes, no fruit or desserts. The beach was also very neglected. On the plus side, the room was very spacious and beautiful because it was newly built, although the bathroom lacked all the amenities. The reception was also very kind and helpful.

I always interacted with Michele Rosa, a very kind and helpful person, always ready to answer any questions.
The staff is always smiling and kind.
Perfect location for those who want to go to the beach.
There's not much nearby; you'll need a car to visit the nearby towns.
My dogs were always pampered, and even at the beach they were almost like mascots!
The only downside was the hotel meals...nothing like the restaurant across the street, which was also on the property. Excellent food and delicious pizza!
Newly renovated rooms with spacious rooms and beautiful furnishings!

02/08/2025: Ero già stata in questo ristorante in passato e devo dire che quando ci sono ritornata quest’anno sono rimasta molto delusa. Tutto pessimo.. cibo salatissimo (e io sono una persona che ama il sale) pasta cruda e servizio incommentabile, i camerieri erano sfuggenti non ti guardavano minimamente per chiamarli bisognava alzarsi, inoltre prendevano le ordinazioni non in ordine d’arrivo ma a simpatia. Tempi di attesa lunghissimi (specifico che il ristorante era semi vuoto). Inoltre fate attenzione allo scontrino perché vi vengono aggiunte cose che non avete ordinato e nel momento in cui glielo fate notare vi dicono che vi verrà detratto ma in realtà poi nel momento del pagamento cercheranno di reinserirlo!
19/07/2025: Tutti gli anni torniamo in questa località e andiamo a mangiare in questo ristorante. Siamo stati purtroppo a pranzo senza aver prenotato, una delusione, menu’ ridotto, su 4 piatti ordinati 3 erano sbagliati, il filetto con i funghi da freezer… inqualificabile. Mi spiace ci siamo rimasti male

02/06/2025: Eduardo e la sua plendida famiglia ci accoglie al Trappeto, un antico frantoio, riadattato a ristorante nel cuore di Vico del Gargano.
Ed è subito "famiglia". Ci si sente a proprio agio, avvolti in un'atmosfera elegante e d'altri tempi.
La qualità dei piatti è degna di un ristorante stellato, con prodotti di ottima scelta.
I costi sono proporzionati alla qualità del "tutto". Edoardo offre però gratuitamente: intrattenimento, passione per il suo lavoro e racconti d'altri tempi.
09/05/2025: Scoperto per caso, ci piaceva l' idea di pranzare in un frantoio scavato nella roccia, l' ambiente è straordinario,i tavoli sono macine di pietra, accoglienza super, musica di sottofondo di nostro gradimento,ben consigliati, primi sublimi, un assaggio di antipasti e dolce molto buoni
