16/11/2025: This is my second time back. The first time I tried both the food and the pizza, I was thrilled. The second time I tried just the food, my enthusiasm was confirmed. Excellent service from two very kind and sweet guys. The food was exceptional, the quality was perfect, and the price was perfect. I'll be back again.

It's clear that the chef and his team know their stuff, with dishes that showcase the flavors and ingredients. ​However, it's in the dining room that the magical, secret ingredient of this place comes into play: Elena and Antonio. ​From the first moment, they make you feel at ease, as if you were at the home of old friends. Antonio stands out for his innate charm combined with impeccable professionalism, expertly guiding you through your choices. Elena, originally from Naples, has that extra something: not only is she welcoming and spontaneous, but she also stands out for her great professionalism and expert service, which greatly enrich the customer experience. ​Highly recommended for those looking not only for excellent food, but also for a warm welcome and high-quality service! 18/09/2025: We dine here as we stay at the Gran Paradiso hotel. It is in the same level with the hotel lobby. Service and atmosphere are excellent, waiters were attentive and fast eventhough we were not speaking Italian. Food are just okay to our liking. Beers are nice.

We were greeted with a smile and a warmth that made us feel right at home. The lunch was excellent: authentic, plentiful dishes, all served with great attention by the waiters, who were kind and timed perfectly for a large group like ours. The atmosphere is ideal for sharing a moment of conviviality and serenity among pilgrims. Special thanks to the owner, Antonio, for his availability, his daughter, and the staff. Highly recommended for those visiting San Giovanni Rotondo who want to enjoy excellent local cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. 26/11/2025: The best value for money we've found in recent years. The owners, always very helpful, offer a family atmosphere and excellent organization, meeting every need. Clean rooms equipped with every comfort, delicious and plentiful food, a comprehensive wine list for even the most discerning and refined palates, and impeccable service, including a shuttle service to the Padre Pio shrine. Highly recommended

11/12/2025: No frill accommodation within walking distance the Padre Pio Basilica and Church.. comfy bed, good breakfast but rather indifferent staffs.. free ample parking.. there’s a elevator to the bus station above but you need to pay 50 cents to use

08/12/2025: On December 8th, we visited this magnificent paradise. The staff were incredibly friendly and the restaurant owner warmly welcomed us. The dishes were very refined and, above all, delicious, with that authentic, home-made flavor that is so hard to find these days. We'll definitely be back!

04/11/2025: The strong points are the serenity, tranquility, and family atmosphere. The food in the restaurant is definitely fresh and perfectly cooked...homemade flavors. The staff is always smiling and friendly. Cleanliness is unquestionable: rooms are promptly serviced, and bathrooms are spotless and spotless. That's enough for me, and I don't care about a 5-star rating. The location is close to the basilica. I had a fantastic week. Thanks to all the staff and owner.

22/08/2025: My experience wasn't very positive, and I'm sorry to only give it two stars because the location and the quality of the food are definitely worth much more. That said, there was only one problem...the rush we took in choosing our dishes, especially when we decided to order main courses. We weren't given a choice because the maître d' was already ready to take our order. You can imagine the dessert selection. I'm guessing there was some event that evening, otherwise there's no explanation for the rush...I think we'll be hard pressed to see each other again.
