06/04/2026: We went to the Medioevo Restaurant in Monte Sant'Angelo, and I have to say it was a truly unforgettable experience. You can immediately sense that this is a zero-mile restaurant where the ingredients are the absolute protagonist. We started with spectacular fava beans and chicory, with extraordinary fava beans and a truly top-notch chicory, accompanied by a platter of top-quality local cured meats and cheeses, each one more delicious than the last. You can tell the chef has thirty years of experience, because he truly knows how to pamper his guests. For our first course, we had ravioli filled with local ricotta and porcini mushrooms from Gargano, which were out of this world. For our second course, we opted for local lamb, which was exceptional, both the grilled one with the flavorful liver rolls and the lamb cooked with potatoes and vegetables, which was incredibly tender. We finished on a high note with desserts, also made by the chef, including a creamy tiramisu, ricotta and chocolate tarts with jam, and the famous almond-filled wafer served in a beautiful composition. It is an excellent restaurant that I recommend with my eyes closed to anyone looking for true quality.

I'd like to make a very important point: due to a renovation, I had to change the menu, and I was able to accommodate this request thanks to Michele and his staff, who are attentive to every customer's needs. 30/03/2026: A wonderful experience: a delicious lunch in a clean setting, run by a very helpful and friendly owner. Excellent appetizers, generous portions. Delicious pasta (they've even won a few awards for their organic pasta), exceptional Apulian bread. Everything was perfect, right in front of the sanctuary. We'll definitely be back.

20/01/2026: Almost four months after our visit to Li Jalantuumene, I still feel the urge to write this review, because experiences like this deserve to be shared. The atmosphere of this little restaurant was simply incredible: a wonderful place in an intimate square, perfect for a special evening with my wife. The food? Nothing short of fantastic. We savored the flavors of the region, while Gegè passionately explained each dish and the details of their preparation. I still remember the pork cheek, the pork belly, the perfect orecchiette, and the appetizer with cold fava bean puree—truly unforgettable. The wine selection was also carefully chosen: an extraordinary bottle of Masseria Maime perfectly accompanied our dinner. A special thanks goes to Gegè for his recommendations on places to visit the next day: thanks to him, we discovered places we would never have found otherwise. This is the classic example of a place and people who make trips memorable. Despite the delay in the review, the memory of this experience remains vivid and special.

03/08/2025: Siamo stati a Elda per un pranzo in Foresta Umbra, esperienza meravigliosa! Cucina creativa con prodotti di qualità. Il servizio elegante e sempre con il sorriso. Conto nella media! Staff davvero competente, buona la carta dei vini, molti dei quali di produzione propria.

10/09/2025: Beautiful location, especially the outdoor area...the view is stunning! The indoor dining room is small but welcoming. The service is young and helpful. I would have expected a wider selection of typical Monte Sant'Angelo dishes, as the mountain cuisine is top-notch! The wine list is also very comprehensive.

14/12/2025: A corner of Naples in Monte Sant'Angelo. A wide variety of savory dishes (Neapolitan pizza, potato croquettes, fried pizza, pasta frittatas, rice balls, etc.) and sweets. The Neapolitan nuvole are delicious. Friendly and helpful staff Highly recommended
