24/04/2025: We stopped to eat for lunch without a reservation before visiting the Sacra di San Michele. The restaurant is located a few steps from it and is the perfect place to eat with taste at a fair price.
The very kind waiter even prepared a boiled vegetable for our 9 month old baby upon request. I highly recommend the appetizers (both cheese and cured meats), the pasta with the house sauce and the steak.
The house red wine is also very good.
We couldn't ask for anything better! We will be back for sure!! ☺️

25/05/2025: A truly must book for hikers who are also enjoying great food (una cucina innovante e da qualità !!!).
In the heart of the stunning wood "La Foresta Umbra" (as part of the Parco Nazionale del Gargano).
Short, long, easy, challenging, ...: all trails are available for hiking.
The hotel is not for a luxury journey, but is is absolutely correct & very clean.
We enjoyed the exchanges on life, Italia & food with Zlata, Libero, Cosimo, Luca, Marco and all the other staff members!!!

21/06/2025: On a hillside near where Saint Micheal appeared awaits a protector of great taste named Templari where Biogio awaits your arrival to begin your gastronomic journey into eastern coastal Italy. This place is not known to me but after mass I was lead around historic places of prayer 🙏 to rest into the best that San Angelo has to offer. The skill and thoughtfulness of the chef insured that every bite would deliver upon its promise….to never let you forget an incredible journey. My friends, as always I think of you when I walk inside a culinary adventure, what do you want, what does your soul yearn to eat, look no more because templari brings you right where you need to be 🙏 Grazie Mille

07/08/2024: Found by chance for a simple aperitif and a platter of local cheeses and sausages, we discovered a small and welcoming terrace overlooking the ancient roofs of Monte Sant'Angelo! The wine shop is a real "gem" with refined wines carefully selected by the owner who demonstrates passion and great competence! His wife Antonella welcomes customers with great elegance and simplicity in a well-furnished and elegant room! Highly recommended not to be missed! Marco inessa and Michele

23/03/2025: If there were 10 stars per review I would give them all 10, or rather 11!! I think it is among the best pizza in Monte Sant'Angelo, panzerotti and also paposcie are delicious, and to conclude as the icing on the cake some clouds that melted in your mouth. Highly recommended indeed.

06/05/2025: The two of us had dinner here and ordered 2 fish dishes. The staff was very friendly and kept asking if everything was OK.
The food was absolutely great and the price was completely reasonable in our opinion.
We can highly recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant offers delicious and fresh cuisine, with dishes prepared with care and attention. The view of the sea is breathtaking and the relaxation on the beach was total. I highly recommend trying and enjoying the sea. I will definitely be back!" 5/5 stars.

It's a shame that in a positive context like country, landscape and good food there can still be places like this.
A unique and slow sauce in which they throw first and second courses with the same insipid taste. Nothing good in the kitchen.
A lamb ragù without ragù and with a lamb chop thrown for two minutes in the above sauce. And a roulade with the same treatment. Price of a serious restaurant. Zero value.
Oh.. and the peppers that were supposed to be roasted were poured onto the plate directly from the pickle jar. And corrected with oil. A filthy puddle..
03/05/2025: Clean place.. very simple.. close to the Castle and next to the car park.. good food but not great.. simple cuisine... and not very elaborate.. Possibility to choose the tourist menu (with a reduced list of dishes) or order different courses from the menu. Polite staff but not particularly attentive to customers and decidedly unsmiling.
Service and staff with plenty of room for improvement. Mediocre value for money...

22/09/2024: Siamo capitati in questo “ristorante “ per caso, cibo di gomma, dimenticanze da parte del rude personale. Da evitare. Il cameriere tocca i piatti con il proprio sudore e anche una signora senza denti che ha affermato che il ristorante è molto quotato, cosa non vera vedendo le recensioni. Poi ci sarà vicino al forno un campanello che suonerà continuamente, disturbando il pasto. Posate sporche e mancanti sui tavoli

14/08/2024: Rapporto qualità /prezzo pessimo. Servizio discutibile e il meglio del meglio è la scelta arbitraria dello chef che invece di comunicare che il piatto scelto non ha uno dei due ingredienti principali, di modo che tu possa, al limite scegliere un altro piatto dal menu, te lo prepara come vuole lui con altri ingredienti, snaturando il piatto stesso e facendotelo pagare a prezzo intero. La pasta scotta che galleggia in una marea di pesto di rucola e pomodorini acidi. Vino rosso della casa acidulo (non lo abbiamo bevuto). Avete presente i ristoranti italiani dozzinali all’estero che di italiano hanno molto poco? Ecco, l’esperienza è la stessa. Consiglio allo chef di cambiare mestiere.
