02/08/2025: We arrived without a reservation, but I recommend doing so because the restaurant, open in the summer and with good weather, filled up quickly.
The availability, kindness, courtesy, and good Apulian food are a perfect combination to return to this restaurant and recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in Carovigno.
Absolutely balanced value for money: appetizer, two first courses, two desserts, a small bottle of Calafuria, and water for a total of €85.50.
The appetizer was spectacular (the photo shows just some of the dishes they brought us), the first courses were generous, and we finished them simply because they were so delicious, and the homemade desserts were delicious—we forgot to photograph them because we were so eager to try them 😊—and they deserve a special mention.

25/07/2025: Our experience here was fantastic. Exceptional service, ice cold beer, beautiful wine, outstanding fresh seafood, and the view couldn’t be better. Highly recommended. What a gem!

15/08/2025: Today we went to Vigna Marina for lunch, and everything was perfect. It didn't seem like a mid-August lunch, but a wedding. Well done, everything was beautiful, the waiters were kind, we'll be back as soon as possible. Thanks for everything. 🙏
03/08/2025: Family dinner on Saturday evening with a set menu: a rich, varied, high-quality house appetizer, reflecting Apulian tradition; centerpiece pizzas, one for every two people, chosen from a wide selection (the house one is exceptional). The staff is extremely kind and professional. The highlight is the live music with excellent musicians: ballroom dancing, taranta, Latin American, group, and disco. Words cannot describe the fun everyone had.

21/07/2025: Bellissima ambientazione, personale gentile e professionale. Ottima cena con una buona scelta di vini in particolare pugliesi. Top i paninoni caldi. Forse necessario una proposta di cibo più ampia. Consigliato.
07/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per la sua particole posizione, proprio a fianco alla (quasi) abbandonata stazione di Carovigno e abbastanza motivati da recensioni e immagini. L'accoglienza è tipicamente pugliese, il titolare ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio. La sala è molto luminosa con colori vivaci e pochi coperti. Il pranzo è iniziato con alcuni benvenuti dalla cucina accompagnati da un buon rosato. I primi piatti meno azzeccati e quasi assente i contorni. Dolce buono. In sostanza, l'esperienza è piena quando ogni cosa funziona e questo potrebbe essere un ritiro davvero speciale ma se servizio e location sono riusciti, la cucina non ci ha soddisfatti come speravamo (forse abbiamo scelto piatti che non esprimevano il vero potenziale).

11/08/2025: Disappointing, stringy meat with lots of sinew, paid €6 per 100g, like a fine Florentine steak. As soon as I pointed out to the owner the discarded sinew on the plate and the lack of the "butter" so vaunted in social media slogans, he admitted he'd probably made a mistake and what was served wasn't fillet steak. Despite this, the price on the receipt remained unchanged. Bottom line: a plate of tagliata with arugula and parmesan cost €85... (with half a liter of local wine, and a water, €99).
Finally, although I have no proof, I strongly doubt I ate the meat shown on the scale.
I advise you not to fall for the social media slogans.
06/08/2025: Good food, average service, large portions, somewhat high prices.
We ate here when it was very windy. The tablecloths outside weren't attached to the table and kept blowing away, including at ours. The tablecloths often blew into the food. The food was delicious and the portions were quite large. I think it's wise not to order one dish per person here, and instead to share dishes.

25/07/2025: Unfortunately, I can't comment on the gelato since the lack of customer service prevented me from trying it. I waited at the register with three children to get a receipt and get my gelato, but to no avail, as they let people who arrived later go ahead and go straight to the counter and pay later. Two staff members showed up at the register, and no one even thought to ask what we were doing there for five minutes. I wanted to leave, but I stayed for the kids. In the end, they also got very annoyed when they saw us being ignored and asked me to leave.
Absolutely NOT!
11/07/2025: The man serving ice cream seems to be bothered by customers. He's truly unpleasant: he doesn't even respond to the twice-repeated "good morning" and rudely asks customers to pay twice. The lady at the cash register, however, is kind and smiling.

29/07/2025: Siamo venuti dal nord in vacanza e siamo andati a mangiare con amici nella serata della pizzica.
Cibo misero e con obbligo di menù fisso nella serata organizzata .
Poca chiarezza sul menù e sulla scelta delle pizze limitata ad un tot di pizze ogni due persone .
Ci è stato detto di essere puntuali alla prenotazione ( ore 21:00) e il primo cameriere si è avvicinato al tavolo un ora e mezzo dopo solo chiamati da noi .
Camerieri non tutti molto disponibili e un po’ scocciati nel servirti .
Peccato per il locale che posso dire essere l’unica nota positiva di questo locale molto caratteristico.
26/07/2025: Cena con degli amici, menù da 25 euro, arriviamo e ci viene detto che ci tocca una pizza ogni 2 persone quando nel menù c'era scritto in linea generica pizze al centro. Povera di antipasti. Signore alla cassa completamente scortese, non ritornerò mai piu.

16/08/2025: I only have to give one star because I can't give zero!
Highly not recommended. The location is beautiful, but the rest is just not up to par. Starting with one of the owners, who is unfriendly, rude, and treats you like you're doing her a favor, not a paying customer. The prices are ridiculously high, and the staff is rude, except for the lifeguard. It's a place only for foreign tourists, not Italians and locals... besides, it's managed by Swiss people. DO NOT GO THERE.
16/08/2025: We spent a full day at P Beach Lido near Ostuni and enjoyed every moment. The setting is beautiful, with elegant design and real comfort, making it easy to relax. The atmosphere was calm, never crowded, and the service attentive without being intrusive. Lunch was a highlight: a delicious warm insalata di mare followed by a perfectly cooked fritto misto, accompanied by an excellent Bombino Nero rosé. It all added up to a beach experience that felt refined, welcoming, and truly worth it. The perfect place for anyone looking for a quality day by the sea.
