03/05/2026: I'll start by saying I wasn't familiar with the Osteria; a dear friend recommended it to me, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The place is very cute and overlooks the seafront promenade. We had lunch outside, given the beautiful day. Since we were there on Sunday, the 3rd of 2026, for the conclusion of the kite festival, we ate wonderfully. We had a full seafood lunch, from appetizers to first courses (fresh pasta), vintage Prosecco rosé, etc. I don't want to seem biased, but everything, from the staff to the food, was exceptional. We will definitely be back. I don't understand the negative reviews. We found it exceptional, and my husband and I travel a lot. I repeat, the place is worth it. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended!!!

12/05/2026: A local owner recommended a good restaurant for me, and I had lunch there featuring incredibly fresh fish, beautifully cooked. The octopus, both in salad and roasted, was excellent.

26/04/2026: My experience? I didn't know these guys, and I immediately felt at ease. Not only are they helpful and always smiling, but they're also incredibly kind. Thanks guys, next time I land in Margherita, I know where to come and eat.

What can I say...I immediately fell in love with the place, its beauty, its cleanliness, and with the owner, Claudia, who is vibrant and very busy...she immediately put us at ease, both with her quote (and with the most sincere advice) and with her availability. 01/06/2026: If I had to describe my experience in one word, I'd say EXCITING!! Our wedding was celebrated on May 30th, and today I need to say a few words about this wonderful venue. A love affair blossomed by chance while searching for a venue that could celebrate our wedding on the beach. Seeing the photos, we were immediately convinced and scheduled a meeting in the venue. That day, a story of friendship, empathy, respect, and patience began... Claudia, the owner, to say explosive is an understatement! A raging river that overwhelms you with her original ideas, years ahead of the proposals of the most renowned reception venues in Puglia. Projects created not from a catalog but with a profound understanding of the couple. Everything was tailored to us, just like our dresses, and the effect was spectacular. Every corner of the venue was the perfect backdrop for a dream postcard! All our photos are rich in detail, and the spectacular sea backdrop made everything a beautiful fairytale. Ilaria, you're a born moderator. You took a torrent of confusing and disconnected ideas and made them possible! With sweetness and so much patience, you tolerated everyone and got the best from everyone, making it incredible! With a smile and advice always ready to calm the most stubborn anxieties! DIRECTOR. Always, always, always present! Under the 12 o'clock sun, scorching hot enough to test even a fireproof suit, he was there! Ready to intervene and resolve any problem or unforeseen event! (I apologize for the key incident 🤣) The Chef and all the staff gave us dream dishes! Fresh, delicious, and abundant. Professional and patient service that accommodated all the guests' requests, both absurd and not so 🤣. Guys, thank you for everything! There aren't enough words to truly thank you for everything you did! P.S. We thank Claudia again for the sacrifice she made to be there for our wedding! As a passionate person like you, I understand! 21/04/2026: A typical seaside pizzeria: simple, a bit chaotic, but with a nice atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming service. Good pizza; I had a Diavola and my wife a Quattro Stagioni, both very good. Prices are average. Overall, a decent and pleasant place to return to.

02/05/2026: I was passing through, and since it was a little late, I decided to stop for a quick bite. I ordered bruschetta, and it arrived with some unseasoned diced tomatoes and some limp arugula. I asked for oil and they brought me a bottle... but alas, it was empty 😂🤦🤷. I ordered octopus salad, and one expected the tentacles to arrive... but there were only 2 small pieces, the rest was the whole chopped-up head. (No comment) Fried food paid 17 euros for a mini portion. Beer on the menu was 5 euros, paid 6. Bread never arrived. Cover charge 3 euros. Service was poor. I don't recommend.

02/05/2026: So we called and booked for the second sitting at 2:30 PM on the 1st of May, the day of the kite festival. The mistral wind was blowing strongly, so when they assigned us the outside table with two children, we asked to be seated inside. The answer was a firm no, even though there was a large table inside where they seated a couple. Okay, okay, it's a holiday and they're very busy, but we ate in a hurry and didn't enjoy anything because it was very cold and the children were freezing. That said, the first courses on the menu were clearly precooked and overcooked, but all in all, it's better than a kick in the face.

28/04/2026: This negative review is meant to help the fledgling small business owner grow, hoping he can correct his mistakes and learn to self-manage his emotions and not appear arrogant, without taking out the accumulated stress on the customer—who, as we all know, is always right, so a gesture of apology or a gift would have eased the situation. Experienced on April 26th, my husband, my daughter, and I. A nice place, nothing extraordinary, but just right for a bite to eat. They asked us to make reservations because they run two shifts, and of course, on Sundays, these places always get crowded regardless. We booked for 12:30 and promptly sat down at the table. The fixed menu, either land or sea, costed €20. We chose sea food. The appetizer consisted of two 5cm bruschetta slices with a mini portion of seafood salad (just 4 black mussels and 5 strips of cuttlefish). After a bit of a wait, the cavatelli with seafood arrived (one shrimp, 5 black mussels, lots of tiny clams, and a couple of mini squid rings). The whole thing wasn't very tasty. My husband found a stone on his plate that, while eating with a fork (the only one he had for the whole meal), he couldn't get it out of his mouth, and we avoided him breaking his teeth (imagine if he'd picked it up with a spoon 😱). We called the waiter, who apologized and told us that it wasn't the first time this had happened and that it meant the fish wasn't frozen. We wanted to speak to the owner, but he didn't come out until the end of the meal when we had to pay. However, at our request, we had our plate changed, then we moved on to the second course where there was cuttlefish or prawns. We had cuttlefish, but they were two small cuttlefish that deserved to be thrown back into the sea (small ones), while at the following tables, real cuttlefish as big as the plate arrived (we called to get an explanation and he told us that they had run out of small ones and had to use the large ones (I repeat that all the tables were part of the first round of reservations)) The service of the guys serving the tables was initially relaxed and friendly, then when, in addition to our table, other less than pleasant incidents occurred. They panicked and were rude. Furthermore, having miscalculated the time, they were also harassed by the people outside who were obviously pushing to get a seat. A little anecdote: the table next to us, after the first one, got up to smoke, leaving their bag and jacket behind. When they returned, they found their table cleared away, all the wine, plates, and cutlery taken away, leaving them shocked. 😂😂😂
