18/04/2026: I went there for Easter Monday with friends. What can I say? The atmosphere was comfortable, like being at grandma's house. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was excellent and high-quality. The only downside was the smell of ash from the unlit fireplace. I'd suggest removing the burnt wood from the fireplace if it's not in use. But otherwise, everything was fine. Between courses, we went outside to soak up the sun at the outdoor tables. A unique experience, definitely worth repeating!
12/04/2026: The food is good, but the menu isn't very varied, there's very little to choose from, and above all, the prices are high compared to the actual product you get.
Everything else is fine, except that they put our table in a dark corner near the bathroom.

19/08/2026: Absolutely illegal gelato in the heart of Canosa. I still dream about the cream at night. So many flavors, and best of all, you can have a drizzle of white or dark chocolate right in the cone (with double cream, too). Totally illegal. I'll be back every time I'm in Canosa, 100%!

10/08/2026: If you happen to pass through Canosa di Puglia, this is a must-see. What can I say...everything was excellent, from the service to the location (the restaurant is in the area known as the "castle"). I had a pizza...fabulous! From the dough to the strips of beef on top!!! Something indescribable on the palate...believe me...as an advert from a while back said: TRY IT TO BELIEVE IT!!
21/07/2026: The meat is among the best I've ever tasted.
Perfect service: the owner is a wonderful person, as are his staff.
I'll definitely be back.

The chef's dishes are a unique experience! The flavors are delicate and never overpowering...the pumpkin and swordfish main course was my favorite, and my husband's absolute favorite was the deconstructed tiramisu! I've never had a better dessert!! We'd been away from this experience for too long (he was our wedding chef)...not to mention the location, the private seating, the attentive and always kind staff, and the chef, always on top, leaves nothing for granted with excellent raw materials! ...We can't wait to go back! 😍😋

13/05/2026: I find it quite absurd to pay €10 for a salad described on the menu as
"Crispy Chicken Salad" and then end up with a banal, commercially-preferred cutlet, freshly pan-fried and cut into small pieces... One piece of advice I can give is to provide some wine training for the staff, given that there are only a few labels, because a wine made in "stone" can't be tasted!
It's a shame, because the location is worth it.
16/04/2026: Shameful, for two Proseccos and a Spritz, €61.00. I could have had dinner for the same price. The REAL shame in Canosa...

08/06/2026: From what I'd heard about the place, I had high expectations. The place is beautiful and worth a visit. I had a decent pizza, which I can't place in my top ten. The service, perhaps partly due to the fact it was Saturday, was slow and inaccurate.

12/04/2025: Ho cenato ieri venerdì 11 aprile in questo locale per la prima volta insieme ad amici che lo frequentano e non capisco come si possano scrivere delle recensioni negative.
Certo possono esserci delle serate che organizzativamente non riescono alla perfezione per una infinità di motivi non sempre dipendenti dal proprietario, persona simpatica, disponibile e molto professionale.
Credo di aver mangiato la migliore pizza di sempre, degli antipasti unici accompagnati da un ottimo vino. Prezzo qualità più che corretto. Ambiente familiare che rievoca la nostra tradizione contadina invaso da tanta simpatia che allieta la permanenza. Per me vale 5 stelle e ci tornerò sicuramente

20/06/2025: A partire dalla location molto ben curata abbiamo cenato all’esterno in una sera di giugno. Non era presente un menu ma il cameriere ci ha fatto diverse proposte. Alla fine abbiamo lasciato fare a lui ed ogni portata era una piacevole scoperta.
Piatti gustosissimi e ben curati. Ampia selezione di vini.
Servizio molto attento e cordiale.
Rapporto qualità prezzo top!
