24/06/2026: I booked with "The Fork" for a 50% discount, but my reservation was canceled. They called me right after to tell me that regardless of the reservation, it was confirmed and they would still give me a 50% discount.
I lost my points on The Fork.
The reason given was that The Fork and they had run out of seats, but there were still seats at the restaurant and they confirmed over the phone. So what does that mean?
The 50% discount wasn't applied to the payment because they only took 8 euros off the 68 euros.
So, why sign up for these apps if you don't follow their mechanisms?
I should start by saying that this is the second time I've booked with The Fork.
It really feels like they're taking the piss.
21/06/2026: Today, after about a year, I returned to Braceria Eremita, a lovely place that's also perfect for large group meals.
When I ordered, I discovered a couple of downgrades: the platter, which, despite costing the same price, has become much lighter; the Paulaner beer, which I normally pay €5-€5.50 at other restaurants, was €7 here; the baked potatoes weren't great, but the focaccia was edible 👍🏻.
I think Braceria Eremita is good for its many varieties of aged meats, which are also quite expensive.
But if you want to eat specialty meats, you have to go to Eremita.

15/03/2026: It's definitely the BEST pastry shop I've ever encountered. The professionalism of the service and the excellent raw materials used make the products truly unique and high-quality.
The prices are definitely reasonable and not expensive.
A pastry shop to recommend.

22/07/2025: Location elegante e raffinata nel cuore della murgia barese all'interno di una dimora storica sapientemente gestita dagli abitanti della villa. Cena all'aperto a lume di candela con pochi tavoli. Servizio attento e curato. Menù forse un po' troppo vegetariano con accostamenti forti. Prezzo in linea con quanto offerto. Fortemente consigliato per una cena romantica

Niente da dire se non invito a fare una esperienza gustativa unica e completa.
Alcune affumicature forse troppo ridondanti come la sequenza delle portate troppo dilatate causa eventi collettivi che mandano in affanno cucina.Al positivo personale molto preparato e proprietario che possiede il segreto delle erbe e alimenti usati.
In posti come questi si ritorna.

25/03/2025: Una pranzo con mia moglie si è trasformato in un' esperienza d'altri tempi... Atmosfera familiare (locali e music di sottofondo) e piatti tradizionali pugliesi (risotto ai funghi cardoncelli, guanciale di manzo con verdure murgiane) che riportato indietro nel tempo. Sorprendente scelta di vini e conto adeguato... Complimenti allo chef Michelangelo per il suo ristorante la sua cucina e la sua ospitalità! Una bella scoperta ci torneremo

14/11/2024: Senza ombra di dubbio il migliore su Ruvo, soprattutto perché la cucina è davvero casereccia (la signora Rosa è insostituibile), così come il servizio (Nunzia ed Enzo), le pizze cotte nel forno a legna (Monia) e le carni scelte (Nicola).

28/09/2024: Quì è il Regno della Pasticceria (creatore del dolce tipico “MANDORLACCIO”),della Gelateria (in estate con coppe davvero speciali e gusti,oltre ai classici,introvabili),della Cioccolateria (con oltre 156 specialità di pralineria)e in ultimo potete anche pranzare e cenare con specialità del territorio e non solo!
Davvero un’eccellenza in tutti i sensi!
