01/02/2026: I visited this restaurant last night for the second time. The service was prompt and attentive, and the quality of the food, especially the meat, was excellent. The two of us had a small bottle of wine, water, roast beef carpaccio, and 700g of swuami meat, if I remember correctly. The flavor was very strong and the meat was incredibly tender. We also had a side of grilled vegetables and a house dessert. The quality/price ratio was good, in my opinion. We paid €42 each. Parking is available outside, which is definitely a plus.

21/12/2025: I returned to La Locanda di Rutigliano after a couple of years and found exactly the same atmosphere and quality I remembered: a truly deserved confirmation. The mixed appetizers are of excellent quality, well-selected and carefully prepared. Among them, the crostini with goose breast was truly excellent. The tagliolini with mushrooms and truffles were also very good, with an intense aroma and balanced flavor. The traditional dishes were also excellent, simple but well-made, such as the capocollo with potatoes, prepared with care and respect for the raw ingredients. The wine perfectly accompanied the meal and was of good quality. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, and the added value is the owners, Mr. Gaetano and Mr. Mimmo, who welcome guests with kindness and ease, making them feel immediately at ease. Excellent value for money. This visit confirms my previous positive review: a place you'll gladly return to, recommended both to those who've never been there and those who already know it.

01/12/2025: I don't usually write reviews unless it's deserved...and you deserve it...the facility deserves it, and so do you, Giuseppe, and all the staff who manage this wonderful location. A complete pampering experience, from the welcome to the farewell. The food was exquisite, accompanied by excellent service, where friendliness, kindness, and professionalism were absolutely paramount. It's something you're born with, and you have it! I will consider this location for other events.

11/11/2025: We celebrated my 50th birthday in this welcoming, intimate, and well-appointed location. From the start, the owner, Giuseppe, made us feel at ease, and that's how the day went. The lunch was excellent, as was the service, everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. My guests were all satisfied, complimenting us on our choice. Thanks to all the staff and Giuseppe; we'll definitely see you again.

13/01/2026: Positive notes: we booked the big balcony room and the view was stunning. The staff is very kind. Negative notes: the heating system was not working properly, was way too warm and no way how to adjust the heating. Warm water finished before we could have a bath. Food not good. Dinner half board was not as advertised. We unfortunately found black human (male) hair in our food, both on our dinner and breakfast. Food overall of low quality but big quantity.

28/12/2025: Excellent food and excellent service. The attractions for children and teenagers are lovely, including the animal enclosure. The men's restroom is a bit too rustic.

28/08/2025: Want to try the best cocktails in Rutigliano? You have to stop by BLEND! Here you'll find Vito, the best bartender in town. The food is delicious, using fresh, quality ingredients. The location, overlooking the main square, with its war memorial and the Norman Tower just steps away, makes it all the more pleasant and romantic.

10/01/2026: New Year's Eve lunch. We were meeting at 1 PM, arriving at 2:30 PM. They seated us in a connecting room between the two dining rooms, which was chaotic, poorly heated, and filled with the general confusion of a rave party. The first course was served at 3:30 PM, cold, and returned to us. The first course was cold and also returned to us. We barely ate anything, but given the service and the quality (the first course arrived at 5:30 PM), we decided not to continue, but to get up and leave less than two courses from the start. THEY CHARGED US THE FULL AMOUNT, €60 each, for nothing. Since they themselves realized how bad they looked, but happily pocketed the money anyway, they decided to give us a complimentary bottle of Lidl rosé wine, which costs €2 at the supermarket, to make up for it. This isn't work, it's taking people's money. Imagine earning €120 without doing anything, without serving a single dish. Good for them, I wish them all the best. Edit in response to the champion who manages this page. Okay, you're right, everything went well, because the way you think is perfect, and everyone else is wrong. The first course was served 2-3 hours after we got home. Now, between you and me, do you deny that any of your customers on that date got up and left after service had started? Examine yourselves; these criticisms should help you improve.
