The food was excellent, especially the appetizers. The music was pleasant, with guitar accompaniment provided by the owner, who also happens to be a good musician and singer. The bill was reasonable.

An ancient inn that has survived unscathed by burdens and difficult times (pandemics and the like), it has managed to maintain close relationships with its clientele, verging on hospitality and friendship, as if they were long-standing assets. A rustic yet elegant setting, an engaging atmosphere, even with the light of a piano and a delicate, whispered voice that doesn't deprive guests of the opportunity to converse in peace, free from high-pitched sounds and voices. A rich menu featuring succulent dishes that renew the traditions and hallmarks of Mediterranean cuisine. The affability and courtesy of the service are not only instantly apparent, but also meet the expectations of those present. Adequate seating is available, and the quality and price of lunch or dinner are very good, considering their value.

A historic yet modern venue, everything is excellent, from the food to the staff. A must-try if you're looking for traditional local food.

Quiet place, you eat very well, I recommend it

I returned to La Locanda di Rutigliano after a couple of years and found exactly the same atmosphere and quality I remembered: a truly deserved confirmation. The mixed appetizers are of excellent quality, well-selected and carefully prepared. Among them, the crostini with goose breast was truly excellent. The tagliolini with mushrooms and truffles were also very good, with an intense aroma and balanced flavor. The traditional dishes were also excellent, simple but well-made, such as the capocollo with potatoes, prepared with care and respect for the raw ingredients. The wine perfectly accompanied the meal and was of good quality. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, and the added value is the owners, Mr. Gaetano and Mr. Mimmo, who welcome guests with kindness and ease, making them feel immediately at ease. Excellent value for money. This visit confirms my previous positive review: a place you'll gladly return to, recommended both to those who've never been there and those who already know it.

Good and fresh food, good value for money

The food was excellent, and the service and owners were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. We spent two delightful hours eating excellent food and enjoying great music, some of it live. It's an experience we definitely want to repeat and highly recommend.

A truly welcoming, clean, and warm restaurant! We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food, flavors that took us back to our childhood. We'll definitely be back; it was a wonderful Sunday filled with flavor, good wine, and music. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. ♥️
