25/08/2024: An Hotel and restaurant with starred chef Pietro Perrone (Berlin, Lyon, Hotel Four Season in Milan). Quiet, beautiful rooms in contact with sounds and essences of the wild. The restaurant and hotel are located in the greenery of the hill adjacent to the entrance to the Sacro Monte and close to Galeazzo Alessi's triumphal arch. For a century the location has boasted hotel organizational capabilities but its origins date back to the seventeenth century. I had lunch with several guests and everyone had an excellent and classy welcome. In the wonderful patio, carefully assisted by Mrs. Angela Perrone, Director and Owner who leaves nothing to chance with rare management ability, the service has always been rapid and accurate, from times gone by. The aesthetically attractive dishes are curated by the international masterchef Pietro Perrone, fresh from experience in the international field from Lyon to Berlin and last but not least at the For season in Milan. It deserves to be known and to return, a hotel surrounded by nature perfect for relaxing and taking away stress. 26/08/2024: Apart from the wonderful place with a view of Lake Orta but here you can feel the atmosphere of home with excellent food and a lot of kindness. Try the miacce which are delicious. Last night we enjoyed a SUPER minestrone, cooked for many hours on a wood fire. 10 and praise to the chef

30/06/2024: Simple but nice place. The staff is very kind. The products are of superb quality, excellently cooked. Also recommended for those who, like me, have celiac disease. I also recommend this place for corporate parties and dinners. The outside with the paddel courts offer fun and well-organized entertainment. Highly recommended!!!

E' un posto ideale per regalarsi una coccola. Utenti che lamentano ritardo nelle portate, altri il prezzo del coperto.... non avete capito l'identita' del locale. In primis sfido a trovare un ristorante che oltre ad un assaggio di pani differenti a km0 con abbinato dell'olio toscano di alta qualita', nei 3 Eur di coperto vi offra un entree di piccoli assaggi gourmet. I tempi di attesa alle volte possono essere medio lunghi, pero' ci si siede per gustare un buon bicchiere di vino, per godere dello scorrere del tempo guardando fuori dai vecchi vetri delle pareti in legno, è un locale che invita al dialogo e non a cronometrare le performance culinarie.
La carta dei vini offre buoni prodotti a giusto prezzo, con bottiglie entry level di qualita', oltre ad una scelta adatta a qualsiasi occasione, dalle bollicine ad un rosso importante. Il menu' stagionale denota la passione dello chef per la cucina, e per quanto concerne i prezzi...vi invito a provarlo, se alcuni secondi vi sembrano cari non avete visto il piatto servito per rendervi conto del fatto che sono quasi portate uniche. Qui c'è amore e c'è mestiere.

23/10/2024: We were almost alone during lunch in early October 2024. Signature pizza with thin and not dried dough, very tasty :p. The atmosphere is homely, a little chaotic, the staff is very friendly.
