14/12/2025: Overall, the restaurant was good. We had a charcuterie appetizer, which was tasty and quite filling. The gnocchi were very good, but unfortunately the pasta with sauce was a bit overcooked and should have been cooked a few minutes less. The main courses were very good: we recommend the grilled fillet steak and the polenta with venison. The braised beef, on the other hand, was good but a bit cloying. Overall, I recommend it, especially because of the very kind staff!

22/11/2025: Compared to a few years ago, we are not at all up to par: bad croissants, terrible service, very dirty, suffocating environment, expensive prices for what is offered.
10/11/2025: A recommended stop for the foliage train, located in the center of the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore, it's an unpretentious place, with a selection of top-quality cured meats and cheeses!

11/12/2025: We stopped for lunch, having booked well in advance. We ordered charcuterie boards, and they were awful: thickly sliced, tough, and "thrown" on the board, so the presentation also left much to be desired. The stew was dry, and the polenta was good, especially since the main courses were ALL polenta-based.
Let's just say there are definitely better places to eat.

16/07/2025: Frequentiamo questo locale da molto tempo e non ci delude mai. Anche questa sera aperitivo 5 stelle, complimenti! Location immersa nel verde della pineta , atmosfera rilassante , personale gentile e disponibile. Consigliato.

31/10/2024: Scelta seguendo le recensioni scritte in precedenza da altri utenti, noi confermiamo la semplicità e la genuinità del posto, compresi i proprietari/gestori.
Una sola proposta e solo a pranzo: salumi misti con giardiniera, polenta con carne o con formaggio, eventualmente su richiesta assaggio del formaggio fatto da loro con la composta di mele cotogne, fetta di torta pan e lac e la fiacia, caffè e acqua, 27,00 euro a persona con amaro offerto e molto buono ed efficace.
23/09/2024: Il ristoro è immerso nel verde e c’è un piccolo maneggio, il ristorante in se non è molto bello però all’interno si respira aria famigliare e allegra, ottimi i salumi, “la bresaola è spaziale, “ polenta formaggi grigliata e così via tutto decisamente buono.
Per chi non guarda troppo l’etichetta ma adora il buon cibo lo consiglio.

03/09/2024: Ristorante con piatti molto semplici che si possono trovare in qualsiasi trattoria con prezzi meno cari.
Il prosciutto e melone veramente buono, la trota buona.
Servizio ottimo.
31/08/2024: Oggi a pranzo mi sono fermata con la mia famiglia a pranzare in visita per la sfilata degli spazza camini.
Semplicemente non ci tornerò MAI più, abbiamo pagato tanto per una quantità e qualità scarsa degli alimenti. Non avevano seggioloni per i miei bambini, ma ho cmq pagato 1.5euro di coperto a bambino nonostante gli ho dato da mangiare tenendomeli in braccio
Insomma un disastro.
