18/01/2025: Uno dei peggiori circoli in assoluto dove ho mangiato, ho chiesto solo il secondo e mi ha porto un solo tomino mentre negli altri tavoli ne portava due come contorno tre patate di numero e quattro cipolline, sono andato alla cassa ed ha avuto il coraggio di farmi pagare 8 euro quando il menù completo era 12.

12/01/2025: I had already been earlier in the week and I had a very good time both for the price and the food. I returned today 12 January 2025 and I must say that on Sundays the cuisine is amazing, flavors and dishes from a starred restaurant with the difference of the abundance in portions to enjoy the taste and pleasure of the table. Prices on Sundays are a little more expensive but still within the norm and I will certainly return very soon also to introduce my foodie friends to such a precious place.

05/01/2025: A place surrounded by greenery, the classic structure along the lake within everyone's reach... but the real surprise was the food. Game in surprising combinations! Like the pie with the deer inside! Ate and drank very well at the right price!
The managers were pleasant and kind, even half a chat escaped us.
As far as I'm concerned it should have people lining up out the door.

Rifugio Genziana

26/01/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at Rifugio Genziana during a day on the ski slopes at Mottarone, and the experience was truly positive.
The meal began with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses: excellent quality, fresh and tasty products, perfect for whetting the appetite. Next, we tried the polenta with braised meat and the polenta with cheese. Both dishes were well prepared, plentiful and tasty, ideal for a regenerating break in the mountains. To conclude, the tiramisu was a great choice: soft, balanced in flavor and delicious.
The refuge is located directly on the slopes, which makes it extremely convenient for skiers. It is also an ideal solution for families who want to spend a fun day with the children, perhaps trying bobsleigh. There is a car park nearby, very useful for those arriving by car, and access is simple and well organised.
In general, an excellent choice to enjoy typical dishes in a welcoming environment and with a spectacular view of the Monte Rosa Massif.
