28/08/2024: Non posso che iniziare dicendo che sono veramente bravi. Io e la mia famiglia, siamo in tre, veniamo qui ogni anno e Thomas e Willy sono dei perfetti padroni di casa. Lo staff è eccezionale, tenete conto che la cameriera da un anno con l’altro si ricorda del mio bambino. I cibi sono eccezionali, le materie prime di alta qualità, e le lavorazioni sono tutte fatte da loro partendo dal pane, passando per la pasta etc. Il ristorante è ubicato vicino ad un campeggio nella Valle romantica di Cannobio. Questo ti permette di mangiare in completa serenità, lontano dai rumori di strada ma soprattutto lontano dalla massa di gente che fa le vasche avanti e indietro per il lungolago di Cannobio, e questo è veramente un grande punto a favore loro. Ovviamente ci rivedremo presto e non possiamo che consigliarlo a tutti quanti. Federica, Matteo e Riccardo

16/08/2024: Really nice restaurant, very tasty food which was served quickly, even though it was Ferragosto and we hadn't pre-ordered - and that with 7 people! The atmosphere was also very nice and everyone was very child-friendly.

31/07/2024: Food was really very good. The service with fits. Firstly, there were few words we could say, we were ignored for 10 minutes, when we were just about to get on we were helped, without any emotion. Halfway through the evening it became a bit more friendly and there was even a joke. Unfortunately, at the end of the evening we were ignored again, we were not asked if we wanted dessert or something else and we eventually went inside to pay, because no one came anymore...a pity

22/08/2024: The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. The service is good and there is parking right outside the door. The food was delicious except for the lasagna. We ate pizza, pasta, seafood and caprese salad. Unfortunately, the lasagne was inedible and caused my sister to have an unpleasant night of vomiting.

20/08/2024: Great cuisine, very nice and always in a good mood and warm staff. Large almost completely covered outdoor area. A focal point for many locals in summer and winter. Best pizza in town.

08/08/2024: Pizza was unbearable. Cappuccino was also really terrible, but that pizza was really the highlight. I had the pizza regina margherita, but it was like tomato soup on a dough base that was impossible to beat. Not recommended. Get out of here. Shame.

08/08/2024: Service was oke, food was disgusting pizza looked and tasted like it was thrown into the lake .

01/08/2024: We first landed at the Lido Restaurant in spring 2023 and have done so several times during every stay since then. The cuisine offers simple classics such as spaghetti carbonara - the best in the world - and elegantly refined versions of meat and fish. The Filetto di manzo is served on a plate of purple potato puree with truffles and olive oil. Good wine and beer selection, professional service, good value for money. Great terrace with lake views and subtle music. On the weekend after dinner, head to the open beach bar underneath the restaurant... a really nice place.

25/08/2024: You sit very nicely and quietly in a nicely lit courtyard. The portions are a bit small and the prices are a bit higher, but it tasted excellent. The recommended focaccia for starters was very tasty. Afterwards we had the vegetarian lasagne, which also tasted very good. Our highlight, however, was the pistachio panna cotta. Rarely have I eaten something so delicious.

21/08/2024: Price a bit higher, but good. Only the side dishes were far too few. Be a little more generous and it will be perfect
