09/11/2025: Very small rooms, parking along the street where there is space, breakfast at a partner establishment, and limited access because the reception closes at 10:00 PM. For what they offer, the prices seem very high: a single room costs €166.00 plus tourist tax.

09/11/2025: Cute and minimal room. Nothing to do in the area at night. A 10 minute walk away is a Carrefour supermarket that is open 24/7.

17/10/2025: Really, really good pizza. Extremely friendly staff. Our weekly fix for the past many years. It's a shame that the recent increases are so significant, even though I understand the need to adjust prices. It's truly a shame to be forced to give up this long-standing habit.

14/09/2025: My order arrived an hour late and was accompanied by a "new" menu, which again only increased from €1 to €3 for each item. The cost of home delivery has even gone up. Price increases should signal an improvement in quality; it's a terrible choice to offer these menus so late (which happens all too often). As a regular customer, I'll look into other options in the area.

28/09/2025: We ate VERY WELL, but the service was truly unpleasant. It took several minutes to get our appetizer without bread/water/wine to accompany it. One waiter was a novice (we've all been there, so it's no big deal) and the other was experienced but grumpy and looked like he'd just had a cat funeral. I give the food my all to make up for the service's ordeal; in the end, we're still waiting for water ;)

26/04/2025: Ottimi antipasti, consiglio la delicata battitura di fassona ma buono anche l'insalata di polipo, La Chitarruccia con crema di pomodorini gialli, ricotta salata e pinoli è ben fatta e soddisfa le ns aspettative. Dessert : il bonnet non mi ha impressionato...comunque locale gradevole e personale cordiale e preparato. Prezzi nella media di torino

Cibo nelle media…alcune portate molto buone altre un po’ meno…. Prezzo un pelo alto vista la proposta… ma siamo sempre in piazza solferino…. Comunque se capita ci tornerei volentieri

We've been customers for years and the satisfaction is always top notch, both for us and our guests. Even the children ate and enjoyed the cake, which was beautifully choreographed. My daughter was thrilled and we parents were completely satisfied. A heartfelt thank you to the pastry chef and to the entire Pasticceria Ghigo for their attention, quality, and professionalism. Highly recommended! 🎂✨

13/11/2025: Historic café/pastry shop. Display counter with every delicacy. Just looking at it makes you hungry. Famous for its cloud (like a pandoro) and its quadrotto. Everything is exceptional. The prices, however, are prohibitive.

30/07/2025: A Disappointing Experience Not to Be Repeated My recent visit to Sol Levante Japanese Restaurant was a profound disappointment, far from what a Japanese restaurant should offer. Unfortunately, the experience was fraught with a series of issues that made the meal unpleasant and made me want to never return. The first negative aspect that struck me was the interminable wait. Although the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our dishes. This unjustified delay contributed to a growing sense of frustration and ruined the evening's mood. But the real sore point was the quality of the food, which fell far short of acceptable standards. The raw fish, a cornerstone of Japanese cuisine, didn't appear fresh. The sashimi was tasteless and had a rubbery texture, suggesting it hadn't been freshly prepared or had been stored improperly. The sushi and nigiri rice was also overcooked and sticky, lacking the expected texture and flavor. The tempura was greasy and heavy, not as crispy and light as they should be, and the flavors overall were flat and undistinguished. The service left much to be desired. The staff was distracted and inattentive to our requests. We had to repeatedly call for attention to order drinks or ask for clarification on the dishes. The lack of friendliness and professionalism contributed to an overall unwelcoming and rushed atmosphere. Finally, the value for money was decidedly unfavorable. Considering the low quality of the dishes and the poor service, the final bill seemed excessively high, in no way justifying the experience. In conclusion, Il Sol Levante proved to be a restaurant to avoid for those seeking an authentic and enjoyable Japanese culinary experience. The excessive wait, the poor quality of the food, and the inadequate service made my visit extremely unsatisfactory. I hope this review can help steer those looking for a good Japanese restaurant elsewhere.
