03/03/2025: It's not a tasting. It's a culinary experience. Filippo is able to give you emotions in every description. The quality of the food is shocking, flavors that can hardly be found "around the corner". The wine is extraordinary and offers the customer the opportunity to choose the best products from the best labels. Of course it's not a place for everyone, but then everything of value has its fair price. Fantastic.

30/04/2025: Very chic bakery pastry shop, I took a box of too good to go, they put two loaves of bread and threw some cream puffs on top, all crushed, obviously all the cream ended up on the bread. The value of the box must have been 15 euros (paid 4.99) inside there were 2 fairly large loaves, 3 cannoncini and 5 cream puffs, I honestly don't think that the value of everything is 15 euros, really ridiculous anyway...

22/04/2025: Excellent as always... lots of choice of breads of all types, lots of choice in desserts, dry pastries and an excellent apple strudel and then a lot of kindness... which is no small thing!!

05/05/2025: Unfortunately, our stay had several issues that affected our comfort. The bathroom was not properly cleaned — there were body hairs, likely from a previous guest, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, there were no proper glasses in the room for coffee or tea, only two small cardboard cups. Not everyone is comfortable drinking from cardboard. The accessible bathroom felt outdated, which made the toilet uncomfortable to use. We couldt close the door. The so-called sofa bed was also uncomfortable. The mattress was very thin, and instead of a proper blanket, there was only an old, smelly fleece throw with a sheet on top. It seemed like both had been stored in a closet for a long time, and the fleece blanket likely hadn’t been washed in a while. There was also an unpleasant noise coming from the bathroom drain, which persisted and was quite disturbing. This setup is definitely not ideal if you're traveling with a child. Also, the sofa bed is not suitable for teenagers — it’s simply too small for anyone around 15 years old. For 1 night okay but not more. And the breakfast: i had food and fruit on my plate and i stood up to get a glass of tea…. When I came back they throw my food away cause they thaught I was finished🙈. My appetite disappeared. I also read later that the hotel offered a glas of juice as a welcome gesture but the man at the desk didnt tell. At least they could offer water.

07/02/2025: Rifugio in quota a circa 1.200 mt di altitudine raggiungibile facilmente con la seggiovia di Campo Smith di Bardonecchia (circa 10 minuti). Abbiamo prenotato la cena di sabato sera con amici, con scelta tra 3 diversi menù (ognuno comprendente antipasto, primo, secondo e dolce) oltre il “benvenuto della casa”. Personale gentile, servizio forse un po' lento...... Ottima la qualità dei cibi nella piena tradizione piemontese. Ambienti rustici in legno, in tipico stile da “montagna” molto belli. Location spettacolare con un panorama mozzafiato sui monti. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo; il menù costa 50 euro a persona comprensivo del costo della seggiovia (bevande escluse)……..prezzi onestissimi. Da provare assolutamente. Compimenti a tutto lo staff.

19/01/2025: Grande esperienza ad alta quota. Un pranzo all’insegna del buon cibo tradizionale .. tagliere polenta Una vera bontà accompagnata da u. Buon vino. L’arrivo in seggiovia ti porta in quota dove puoi ammirare dalla terrazza esterna un panorama davvero favoloso. Il rifugio è caratteristico, tradizionale e accogliente. Con le belle giornate, mangiare fuori è un vero tocca sana. Il menù è ampio con le giuste proposte. Servizio (se non c’è grande flusso) molto veloce e sempre presente. Qualità prezzo nella media .. Un sicuro punto di riferimento per le prossime gite. Grazie At

04/04/2025: Strategic location, very popular place, but this does not affect waiting times which are almost always low. Low prices and high quality. Top quality raw material (trout and prawns). A must try for anyone passing by.

Patate mitiche deliziose e pollo ottimo e cotto come deve esserlo,ambiente allegro e pulito( e sottolineo ad altre sedi dei girarrosti prendete d esempio di tutto)! 15/03/2025: Chinese restaurant, offering both lunch and dinner. The food is tasty, but not heavy. The restaurant also offers a choice of Italian food and pizza. Prices are average. The place is historic and the current managers have maintained much of what was part of the various traditional furnishings and components.

21/04/2025: Arrivati nel pomeriggio di oggi e accomodati nel dehors esterno, verso le 17. Viene raccolto il nostro ordine, due caffè. Poco dopo ritorna il cameriere, che ci riferisce che il locale sta per chiudere. Da un locale del genere non ci saremmo mai aspettati una tale caduta di stile, siamo rimasti attoniti.....non ci vedrà mai più.

28/01/2025: Unprofessional staff, at times rude... they think more about gossiping among themselves than about serving a simple coffee, among other things for nothing good. They may have changed the blend, because I liked it before, however the other morning I got nervous at so much so that I left the coffee, I will never go back.

02/04/2025: It's a bowls club and as such you can't expect 3 Michelin star food but still not bad. Having arrived on an evening when the place was packed (there must have been 100/120 people) the food was baked all together, with the same times for all the tables, with pre-established courses (fixed menu and not à la carte). This helped, and not a little, the speed of the service: within a couple of hours everyone had already finished or was doing an encore. Excellent thing to optimize times. Let's say that with the place so full the space to move was minimal, if not non-existent (tables nested together like Tetris). Maybe in spring/summer, with the tables outside, the outdoor area, the bowling alley and the billiards it's a completely different thing. Several appetizers, a single first course, a second course and a side dish. Decent, right quality/price. The house wine (both white and red) was so-so. The beers were better but they ran out halfway through the evening for everyone: perhaps it was better to stock up given the amount of guests. The dishes are almost all good. Some are overcooked, others are raw, but in 90% of cases they are cooked correctly. On the other hand, when you cook in a "batch" for an army of people, something can happen to go wrong. Perhaps better organization, especially regarding drinking supplies, would help. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening. The staff is friendly, kind and punctual in all your requests. 25 euro fixed menu for adults, 15 euro fixed menu for children. Fair, honest price for what is offered to you during the evening.

05/03/2025: Volevamo una pizza, abbiamo cercato su mappe un posto, era il più vicino, non sapevamo cosa aspettarci. Le Pizze sono molto buone, ingredienti freschi, non abbiamo aspettato tanto. Le proposte nel menu sono interessanti, abbiamo ordinato una diavola e una fiocco, super buone! Torneremo sicuramente! Personalmente ho problemi di digestione con impasti nuovi, mi reco nelle solite pizzerie dove so che non avrò problemi… con questo impasto NON sono stata male!
