10/02/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't have a great time. The place is undoubtedly charming, but unfortunately our experience was negative. The pumpkin flan was very good, while the entrees were average, and we didn't enjoy the dessert (the meringue with figs and honey was too sweet). The real flaw that led to this negative review, however, was the service: we waited over 45 minutes for the entrees, but that wasn't even the problem, as the owner was kind and promptly apologized. What was truly disappointing was the behavior of the next owner, who stopped me as we were leaving with the "excuse" of wanting to give me a discount, only to then, once he saw the bill (€101), tell me he couldn't offer it because he needed the euro. A rather unfortunate and tasteless scene.

A dinner with friends that was truly a treat.
A beautiful location, excellent food, and a warm welcome that pleasantly surprised us.
The complimentary Pata Negra sampler, the extra escargot dish because one of the dishes we ordered was missing one (we hadn't even noticed...), and the bottle of excellent wine offered—not to mention free—at the price of the one we'd ordered, which wasn't available—all these details demonstrate the owner's passion and commitment.
Thanks to you, we were able to start the weekend off on the right foot!

15/01/2026: A disappointing experience. The hotel owner, despite appearing friendly, turned out to be rude and unprofessional. Dinner, like all hotels, was scheduled from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the owner insisted that my partner and I come down for dinner at precisely 7:30 PM, otherwise he wouldn't let us have dinner. He also literally called us back because my partner hadn't eaten a full meal the previous evening, claiming it was rude to the cook. It's unheard of for the owner of a hotel where people go on vacation to demand and impose restrictive hours, and above all, to require guests, even if they've paid, to eat everything on their plate. Therefore, I strongly advise against staying at the Passat Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

03/01/2025: Una cucina casalinga realizzata molto bene, con una percentuale altissima di materie prime autoprodotte, dai formaggi freschi, alle verdure, dal miele ai salumi di maiale e la carne di vitello. La proprietaria Paola gentilissima, disponibile e simpatica. Nota di merito per il menù adattato ad una dieta vegetariana. Location tipica di montagna, calda e accogliente

19/02/2025: El mejor servicio, la mejor comida. Fue una muy buena experiencia. El sabor, las vibraciones, el vino, oh Dios mío! Es una necesidad cuando vienes a esta región. Este año es la segunda vez que estuvimos aquí y es el mejor. Buenos precios, el mejor servicio. Definitivamente vendremos en otro momento.
20/01/2025: Locale grazioso con arredamento tipico da osteria di montagna. In sala il sug.Renzo molto cordiale, di una certa età un po' confusionario. Cibo buono anche se non eccellente, sinceramente avevo aspettative più alte. Porzioni sicuramente non da osteria ma da ristorante come anche i prezzi che tra l altro non si sanno fino al momento di pagare il conto in quanto non c'è un menù, le pietanze vengono elencate velocemente dal cameriere ...cosa a dir poco antipatica e non corretta.
Vale una cena se si alloggia a Pragelato solo perché forse in zona non c'è di meglio ...non tornerei certo volutamente .

12/04/2025: Peccato che abbiamo scoperto questo locale a fine stagione invernale. La struttura è calda ed accogliente, arredata con stile montagna.
Il menù è diversificato e soprattutto ben cucinato. Ottimi gli gnocchi ai formaggi e la girella di plin.
Buona la pizza, così come i dolci.
Proprietari e staff estremamente gentili e sorridenti. Difficili riscontrare tanta qualità e gentilezza in alta montagna!
La prossima stagione ci recheremo spesso.

Abbiamo trovato gentilezza e buon cibo, tipico della cucina locale.

15/02/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante tantissime volte e Continuiamo a venirci perché il cibo è ottimo e il rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Solo ingredienti locali ed è possibile gustare alcune ricette tipiche come la Glore. Servizio ottimo e cordiale dove è anche presente un’ottima cantina. Assolutamente consigliato.
