17/05/2025: Located in the heart of Pinerolo, Trattoria Zappatori confirms itself as one of the most refined and surprising realities of the Piedmontese gastronomic scene. With a well-deserved Michelin star, this restaurant succeeds in the non-trivial feat of combining the profound identity of traditional cuisine with the courage of innovation. Our experience for my birthday with the “Breakfast for work” tasting menu (with the addition of some off-menu items) was a brilliant demonstration of this philosophy. From the small initial amuse-bouche to the final dessert, the path is coherent, without excess, but with flashes of originality that surprise and stimulate the palate. Particularly noteworthy was the first course, where the tradition of fresh pasta was combined with a sauce with unexpected nuances, a perfect balance between comfort food and research. The environment is elegant but not excessively formal, with an authentic warmth that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is attentive, friendly and well-prepared in guiding the guest through the proposals of chef Christian Milone, whose touch is perceived in every detail, from the plating to the balance of flavors.

09/05/2025: We had the privilege of dining at Trattoria Zappatori, choosing the 6 modern course tasting menu, created by chef Christian Milone and focused on the valorisation of hazelnuts and eggs, two symbolic ingredients of the Piedmontese territory, reinterpreted with creativity and precision. The selection of wines, curated with great professionalism by the sommelier for each individual course, was impeccable. Friendly, attentive and gifted with surprising intuition, she was able to enhance each dish with perfectly calibrated combinations, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more special. We had the pleasure of dining in the secluded room overlooking the Zen garden, characterized by a modern fireplace which helped create an intimate and elegant atmosphere, perfect for celebrating our anniversary. A space that made the evening even more memorable. Each course was a journey through innovative flavours, with a presentation taken care of down to the smallest details, an expression of the mastery of the chef and his team. A true homage to Piedmontese cuisine reinterpreted in a modern key, capable of surprising and conquering even the most demanding palates. I highly recommend this experience to those who want to discover the more sophisticated and modern side of Piedmontese cuisine, accompanied by a high level of service made possible by the dining room staff who are extremely attentive to everything. Congratulations to all the staff for their excellent work!

10/05/2025: Good business lunch, nothing exceptional but good. I'm a little undecided about the 5 stars because the pasta sauce was really watered down, you can see it in the photo. Always better than those ragù that have seen the meat through binoculars. For the rest I can't complain, fast, kind and also good service. I find the price indication a little misleading, 13 euros is the menu, but water and coffee are not included. I would go back

18/05/2025: a Saturday in May for lunch, few people, sober but very kind welcome, simple and essential environment, perhaps a little too much... excellent veal with tuna sauce, tajarin with ragu too, too few, we would have eaten double... very good rabbit... fair prices...

05/05/2025: In zona stazione a Pinerolo, davanti al parcheggio, c'è questa simpatica pizzeria da asporto gestita da giovani. Nonostante la posizione di passaggio possa suggerirne una vocazione "commerciale", ci si ricrede subito: le pizze sono una piacevole sorpresa. E' evidente la ricerca dei migliori ingredienti che parte dalle farine fino agli abbinamenti audaci ma molto azzeccati, oltre che l'impegno a giocare con le lievitazioni che rende la pizza digeribile e piacevole. Abbiamo provato due impasti (romana e napoletano) entrambi molto validi, e finito con un cannolo. Davvero molto buono, da provare.

30/04/2025: It is a pizzeria in the center of the town, the owner is friendly and kind and all the staff aligns with his needs to satisfy the customer, I ate a margherita which I didn't like very much, although the pizza chefs are all Italian, I think I was unlucky to encounter an evening where there was a lot of confusion and everyone was crowded together.

11/04/2025: We had an aperitif on a Saturday evening, everything was perfect! The cocktails (both non-alcoholic) were very good, and what is not to be taken for granted is that there is a lot of choice when it comes to non-alcoholic cocktails. The food served along with the cocktails was good and in the right quantities. All at a modified price, super top!😍😍

22/04/2025: Essendo goloso di pizza avevo letto che era molto buona e posso confermarlo pienamente (anche se io preferisco quella al trancio l'ho gustata lo stesso). Personale gentile e cordiale. Locale alla buina come tante pizzerie e trattorie in tutta IItalia. Il resto del menù non l'ho provato ,ma chi è di passaggio una pizzata ci stà. Complimenti al pizzaiolo . Emilio
