Marco's agnolotti brought back a taste I hadn't remembered in years: authentic, profound, like the ones of yesteryear.
You can immediately taste the craftsmanship, respect for the ingredients, and a lot of passion behind a dish.
My sincere compliments for your hard work and the quality you bring to the table. I will be back with great pleasure.
22/02/2026: A delightful restaurant in a small, unique setting with wonderful, carefully crafted dishes. Discreet and very efficient service. The best Fassona steak I've ever tasted, along with a superb pork tenderloin and shank. The price is appropriate for the setting and quality.

27/02/2026: Nice place, unfortunately the table they gave us, even though we arrived first, was in the "passage" between the kitchen and the living room, with the door, right behind us, that leads to the bathroom, which is outside.

10/03/2026: Very good restaurant! Excellent wine selection. We ate several dishes, and they were all very good. My only complaint is the fillet steak; it was cooked very rare, but the Maillard reaction was missing. Fortunately, the meat was good quality and therefore tasty, but it could have been much better.
Very good prices.
03/03/2026: I can't speak about the food or the place because there was no room, but I can assure you that I won't even go near the entrance again because the "lady" was anything but kind.... Without even looking at us, she sent us away because the place was full... As if we had bothered her.... Truly a deplorable attitude.

15/03/2026: Sex on the beach is really good! Very welcoming place. The waiters who served us during the evening, Carmelo and Mel, were really welcoming and helpful. Always with a smile, which is not a given! Highly recommended!

Excellent food.
22/02/2026: A little corner of paradise, just like grandma's house.
The uphill road isn't the easiest; the rooms are simple but have everything you need. The atmosphere is homey and friendly.
The food is good, whatever there is. There's no set menu. Everything is homemade by the owner: bread, pasta, vegetables from the garden.
The breakfast is superb!
A place not for everyone, but one that if you appreciate it, you'll treasure forever!

31/12/2025: Horrible experience. The managers are RUDE and DISCOURAGEOUS.
1) To use the outdoor chemical restroom, they ask for ID and can ONLY check in customers having lunch. Anyone consuming anything else is not allowed to use the chemical restroom.
2) EVEN IN EMERGENCIES, THEY HAVE PROVEN TO BE ABSOLUTELY UNFIT FOR THEIR JOB, which is to be welcoming and kind.
3) When I asked for a glass, they told me they didn't have water to wash the dishes.
I don't think anything else needs to be said.
31/12/2025: Terrible experience, terrible management. Extremely rude staff. I've never seen such arrogance. I feel very sorry for Bardonecchia, but these are the places that never make people come back.

08/05/2025: Conoscevamo già la loro cucina e ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo, così abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per il pranzo della Prima Comunione di nostra figlia. Che dire… semplicemente *top* ! Cinzia e il suo staff sono stati super gentili e sempre disponibili ad ogni nostra richiesta. È stata l’ennesima conferma: ci torneremo sicuramente per altri eventi. *Ormai è diventato il nostro ristorante di famiglia * !

02/05/2025: Siamo appena usciti da questo locale molto carino dove, con una coppia di amici, io e mio marito siamo stati divinamente.
Servizio cortese e cena deliziosa: acciughe del Cantabrico super, accompagnate da Pan brioche, burro e una splendida marmellata agrodolce/piccante di peperoni (voglio la ricetta!!), un bel flan di spinaci con salsina di pomodoro, tajarin ai fegatini di pollo ottimo,a il top? Costolette d'agnello alla griglia accompagnare da un contorno di spinaci e patate...una bomba!
Carta dei vini piuttosto interessante...a favore anche di produttori non scontati.
Quando il cibo servito è curato ed è ben cucinato, pago sempre volentieri il conto, e questo, comunque, alla fine non è affatto spropositato come ho letto in altre recensioni!!

20/03/2025: Stupenda e originale location (è in un bosco, ma raggiungibile anche in auto).
Carlo ed il suo staff è un padrone di casa giovane, dinamico, simpatico, cortese e non lascia nulla al caso.
Lo chef Giorgio e la sua equipe è competente, creativo e non scende a compromessi a fronte della qualità.

Da tornarci in inverno, con tanta neve fuori e il caldo della stufa a legna dentro

Ambiente, personale e servizio, Super carini. Ho preso una pizza guidata dalle eccellenti recensioni. Il topper era buonissimo (cipolla, gorgonzola e salsiccia). Non ho apprezzato la base, molto sottile e biscottata. Avete presente Mulino Bianco Fiori d'acqua? ecco, quella è la consistenza. Per amanti del genere.
