The products offered are fresh and of very good quality.
The ice cream, the apple cake, the drinks, everything is carefully prepared and awakens our taste buds.
It's a pleasure to visit the owners and their employees who always work with a smile!!!

27/08/2025: I'm giving one star because zero is impossible. I went to this pizzeria to pick up three takeout pizzas about two weeks ago. They called around 7:15 PM and gave me an appointment to pick up the pizzas around 8:20 PM (a bit excessive in my opinion for three takeout pizzas). I showed up a few minutes early, and while I waited, I asked for two small beers for me and my friend, and they arrived after over 5 minutes.
We waited another 10 minutes past the indicated time for the pizzas to be picked up. After that, I tried to ask how much longer we would have to wait and was told it would be just a moment longer. After over 15 minutes, I asked again, and the owner, in a very arrogant tone, told me, "It's August, if you want to wait, fine, otherwise don't get the pizzas and leave."
After waiting over 20 minutes, past the indicated time, the pizzas arrived.
Rating: Poor pizza.
This place is in the hands of people who don't know how to run a restaurant in a tourist town like Cesana Torinese that deserves much more.

24/03/2025: We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm, and the place and staff welcomed us warmly. We were delighted by the excellent food and wine. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking peace and quiet, a charming setting, and good food!

During a time when it's hard to find open restaurants, this place was a pleasant discovery. We tried crispy mushrooms (good), cheese gnocchi (very good), and penne (flavor okay, but the pasta was a bit overcooked).
For dessert, we had bunet and coffee. The house wine (½ liter) was good. Recommended for a simple and tasty stop!

Excellent service. The waitress was smiling and friendly. The atmosphere was very quaint.
02/08/2025: A Piedmontese restaurant in the center of San Sicario Borgo, completely pet-friendly (see photos). Simple but beautifully prepared dishes, with exceptional pork cheeks. The service was also very friendly and they took care of our dog, explaining how to make salsa verde (because we were curious). Accessible bathroom.

16/11/2025: We had lunch here for a family birthday. The first courses were good, the appetizers delicious, the scamorza passita wasn't exactly excellent. There's a wide selection of wines, also available by the glass.
The only flaw is the amaro (bitter liqueurs). In my personal opinion, they lack a sophisticated selection of mountain herb amaro, and the selection of amaros offered was also missing.
A corner of Abruzzo in the upper Susa Valley.
A beautiful, rustic and characteristic restaurant, a typical mountain venue.

26/08/2025: A simply enchanting place at the foot of the mountain. In winter, it's easily accessible by chairlift. Good slopes.
Service was a bit slow, and if I hadn't remembered about the table, they'd forgotten. However, the food was excellent in a stunning setting. Lounge chair rental available for €5 (a good price, I'd say). The gazebo is a bit pricey (€100). Overall, a 5-star setting. The path to get there is easy, even for those with very young children. Definitely recommended. It closes by 5 pm when it's crowded. Otherwise, even earlier. I recommend booking.
24/08/2025: Unfortunately, we picked the wrong day for everyone. On a rainy day, we took friends to what is truly a magnificent place, where we've always had a great time. We ordered sandwiches (first, he told us they didn't have polenta) and they arrived still cold from the freezer (the bread wasn't even warmed up). It was obvious they wanted to close quickly given the weather and didn't feel like serving lunch... it's really a shame because they could have clearly told us it was closed given the weather (we even called to make sure it was open). It was a shame, but it was a terrible experience.

31/08/2025: When a simple dish like polenta is made with exceptional ingredients like ancient 8-row corn flour, the result is exceptional. Excellent staff and a refined mountain setting. To top it off, an incredible zabaglione.
22/08/2025: We've been to this restaurant many times, and it was always delicious!
They've probably changed chefs, because the food today wasn't up to par with what it used to be... I'm really sorry, because it used to be a regular for us!
My girlfriend had the polenta concia, which was very grainy and really not very good. I had a rib-eye steak, which unfortunately was very fatty and poorly cooked, not very tender... It wasn't good quality!
Again, I'm really sorry, because we really liked this place!

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, and I can only describe it as an exceptional experience in every way. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
The highlight? The orange and apple strudel, fragrant on the outside and soft on the inside.
The selection of local cheeses is also noteworthy. A true taste journey through the authentic flavors of the area.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic cuisine, made with quality ingredients and with a passion evident in every dish. We will definitely be back! Renata and Carlo, thank you!
