26/01/2025: Da tempo non pranzavo in STRATTORIA chef Alessio, con i suoi piatti, soddisfa qualsiasi palato, da provare spaghetti con vongole e ricci di mare, cervo al sottobosco, salmerino al pino mugo, ricciola alla milanese, ….dolci insuperabili, un crescendo accompagnato da invidiabile carta dei vini e servizio attento alle esigenze del cliente!!

20/01/2025: I cibi saranno anche curati nella cucina e nella presentazione, ma anche la quantita' dovrebbe essere "sufficiente" anche per uno che e' a dieta stretta. Cervo con frutti di bosco: due cubetti da 1,5 cm per 2 cm, prezzo 38 Euro e cosi' via; dessert zabaione 14 Euro. Sembra piu' una presa in giro che una cena. Due spaghetti quando tornate a casa, ci stanno bene.

25/01/2025: Sono tornata alla Vecchia Arona per festeggiare il compleanno in famiglia. Il ristorante si conferma una garanzia di qualità e cortesia. Buonissima la tartare di Fassone con puntarelle e la testa-coda in salsa di Boca. Ottimo anche il menù degustazione con una particolare menzione per le linguine di farro burro, acciughe e bottarga. Superlativi anche i dolci, in particolare il tiramisù ai marrons glacés. Sempre impeccabile il servizio di sala.

Mix perfetto tra, ottimo cibo, ottima carta dei vini, ambiente accogliente e proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Attenti anche ai commensali in tenerissima età! Suggerisco di terminare il pranzo con un tiramisù sorseggiando un liquore alle nocciole. Ci ritornerò sicuramente Grazie ancora

09/02/2025: What a magnificent experience! On the evening of February 8, 2025, on the occasion of our wedding anniversary, my wife and I went. An intimate, private, unforgettable dinner. Let's start with the food, the menu is not an endless list of dishes but what is present is excellent. All served perfectly. The service is the real strong point. A round of applause to the waitress Manuel, the barman Federico and all the staff who make the experience UNIQUE with great attention to detail. You feel pampered, served and revered from the entrance to the exit. The location takes you back to the early 1900s, on the shore of Lake Maggiore, where in a perfectly maintained and clean room of a boat, between wood and brass, you can enjoy dishes made with great passion and with products they produce, from meat to bread and their wines from the Cellagrande cellars. I recommend it for any occasion, from a business lunch (they also open for lunch) to an intimate dinner or event.

09/02/2025: Spectacular dinner! We were on the steamer last night 8/2/25, for our 3rd wedding anniversary, we already knew the "cella grande" as a place as we got married in the Viverone location, and already there we were amazed by the food and the location! It was our first experience at the steamboat, and I have to say it was perfect! A very kind and friendly welcome, as soon as we entered they showed us around the steamer explaining its history and showing us the selection of their wines (all the food and wines are produced by them)! They seat us at a table of our choice and immediately bring us some welcome bubbles with a taste of their cheese, a delicious cheese and egg mousse, accompanied by delicious bread made by them, perfect combination and flavours, in fact we cheekily asked for another one! We arrive at the menu, where there is a careful choice of dishes, we do not find a very long menu full of dishes, but the essential ones and above all done well!!! Let's start with an appetizer, I had a leek flan and my husband a Fassona tartare, also very good accompanied with their sesame bread and always delicious focaccias! We get to the first one, I order some ravioli with a beetroot cream and my husband some cubes of lamb cooked at low temperatures! Each dish had a careful explanation of the ingredients! Finally I asked (when I booked) if I could have a fruit tart and I must say that they satisfied me in every way! They brought us a beautiful glass plate with happy anniversary written on it and this beautiful tart on top! And finally some of their delicious biscuits. The bill was very fair for what we ate, prices within the norm for a place of this level!! What can I say, we thank Manuel il Metre very much for his kindness and professionalism and Federico the barman for his welcome and accurate explanation of each dish and the details! Fantastic unique experience and to be done again as soon as possible! Congratulations to Florina and Roberto Bagnod for this place in Arona! Thanks for everything!

There is a good choice on the menu where, in addition to meat and fish, there is an excellent offer of quality sushi. The wine list is extensive. Prices proportionate to the offer. I recommend it.

31/01/2025: It is located in a nice location in Arona, right in front of the lake. The menu is varied, plus dishes off the menu. Wide choice of beers and wine. I always enjoy the excellent friarielli and sausage pizza. The service is fast and friendly. Average prices.

05/02/2025: Excellent experience in this restaurant. We have been several times, my partner and I come from Turin and every time we know where to go to eat. Excellent cuisine, both the first courses and the pizzas of excellent quality. Every time we always get either a first course or a second course and every time we eat really well. The location is truly strategic right at the end of the passage in front of the lake. In the summer we dined out many times. The staff is very friendly all the waiters are competent. I highly recommend eating at their place but make a reservation because they are always full.
