Staff is lovely.
05/04/2026: Easter lunch for eight, everything was perfect; they seated us upstairs in a spacious yet intimate, bright room with a view of the surrounding area. The staff was kind, professional, and attentive; the service was prompt and accurate, despite the Easter rush.
The food and wine were excellent: we opted for the à la carte menu to sample traditional specialties not included in the Easter menu, which was equally rich and delicious.
We are completely satisfied with our family lunch.

02/04/2026: The view of the Alps from the room window was simply breathtaking. The room was spotless, and the daily housekeeping kept everything perfectly organized. I also loved the breakfast—it was clean, fresh, and sophisticated. Most of all, the warm hospitality of the staff made a lasting impression. I would love to stay here again!

The bottle of wine wasn't opened at the table, and the wine wasn't tasted.
We didn't choose the truffles (a business lunch specifically to sample white truffles) (as was usually the case), and they weren't weighed at the table before and after grating (as was usually the case).
The truffles smelled good but had no flavor: it would have been nice to have asked us beforehand.
So the dishes were average.
Overall, really disappointing.

28/06/2025: Enttäuschendes Erlebnis im Ca’del Re – nie wieder!
Unser Besuch im Ca’del Re war leider ein Reinfall auf ganzer Linie. Trotz vorheriger Reservierung wurde uns der gewünschte Tisch einfach nicht zugewiesen – keinerlei Entschuldigung, keine Lösung, einfach Ignoranz.
Besonders ärgerlich war die vollkommen unflexible Haltung des Servicepersonals: Wir waren zu viert und wollten gerne zwei Menüs teilen, was in vielen guten Restaurants absolut üblich ist. Nicht so hier. Uns wurde unmissverständlich mitgeteilt, dass jeder ein komplettes Menü bestellen müsse – kein Entgegenkommen, kein Verständnis, nur starre Regeln, die offenbar vor allem dazu dienen, möglichst viel Geld aus den Gästen zu pressen.
Das Ganze wirkte wie reine Touristenabzocke. Wer nicht bereit ist, sich auf Gäste einzulassen und stattdessen nur Umsatz maximieren will, hat unser Geld und unsere Zeit nicht verdient.
Fazit: Das Ca’del Re lebt vielleicht von seiner Lage, aber sicher nicht von Gastfreundschaft oder Servicekultur. Wir kommen ganz sicher nicht wieder – und raten jedem, der Wert auf ein angenehmes kulinarisches Erlebnis legt, dringend ab.
03/06/2025: Sono stata con la famiglia in questo posto splendido per festeggiare il mio compleanno: scelto totalmente a scatola chiusa, è stata una vera rivelazione! Abbiamo pranzato in giardino, sotto un grande ciliegio, il personale è stato da subito cordiale e pronto per ogni esigenza ( abbiamo una bimba piccola). Menù sia tradizionale che più sperimentale: provati entrambi, impeccabili su tutta la linea! Prezzo nella media della zona ed equo per la qualità del cibo e del servizio.
