16/08/2026: A high-end culinary experience, everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service. The dishes served are excellent, and the open kitchen allows you to appreciate the chef's technique. I suggest increasing the prices, as in my opinion they are too low for the restaurant's quality. I absolutely recommend it.
16/08/2026: A small restaurant that won us over with its intimate and authentic feel. The place seats just 12-14, making the experience truly unique.
Mirella manages everything alone, with a passion that is palpable at every turn. The best part is being able to watch her cook: a large window allows you to directly observe the work in the kitchen, all in full view, and see the care and attention with which she prepares each dish.
And then there's the food: every dish we ate was simply spectacular, carefully crafted, surprising, and bursting with flavor. It's hard to choose a favorite, because every course left a lasting impression on us.
This, perhaps, is the added value of the place: it's not just going out to eat, but almost feeling like a guest in the home of someone who deeply loves what she does.
An intimate atmosphere, very few tables, an open kitchen, and so much passion. An experience that truly left an impression on us and one we absolutely recommend.

16/08/2026: Perfect location of for dinner on a beautiful summer evening.
Had a wonderful dinner sitting in the terrace with my wife and two daughters.
Everything we had was great.
Fresh truffle pasta, beef cheeks and agnolotti were all wonderful mains.
Started with stuffed zucchini flowers, charcuterie and a caprese salad, all wonderful.
Deep Italian wine list, let us get a tremendous Barolo for a fraction of what it would have cost at home.
Setting is very relaxed, so plan to enjoy your meal without being rushed.
Highly recommended.

25/05/2026: Only came for dinner in what was one of the best dining experiences I have had in Italy. The service and food were exceptional and we loved our wine as well. I would absolutely recommend this spot for anyone visiting in the Lange Valley.

28/06/2025: Enttäuschendes Erlebnis im Ca’del Re – nie wieder!
Unser Besuch im Ca’del Re war leider ein Reinfall auf ganzer Linie. Trotz vorheriger Reservierung wurde uns der gewünschte Tisch einfach nicht zugewiesen – keinerlei Entschuldigung, keine Lösung, einfach Ignoranz.
Besonders ärgerlich war die vollkommen unflexible Haltung des Servicepersonals: Wir waren zu viert und wollten gerne zwei Menüs teilen, was in vielen guten Restaurants absolut üblich ist. Nicht so hier. Uns wurde unmissverständlich mitgeteilt, dass jeder ein komplettes Menü bestellen müsse – kein Entgegenkommen, kein Verständnis, nur starre Regeln, die offenbar vor allem dazu dienen, möglichst viel Geld aus den Gästen zu pressen.
Das Ganze wirkte wie reine Touristenabzocke. Wer nicht bereit ist, sich auf Gäste einzulassen und stattdessen nur Umsatz maximieren will, hat unser Geld und unsere Zeit nicht verdient.
Fazit: Das Ca’del Re lebt vielleicht von seiner Lage, aber sicher nicht von Gastfreundschaft oder Servicekultur. Wir kommen ganz sicher nicht wieder – und raten jedem, der Wert auf ein angenehmes kulinarisches Erlebnis legt, dringend ab.
03/06/2025: Sono stata con la famiglia in questo posto splendido per festeggiare il mio compleanno: scelto totalmente a scatola chiusa, è stata una vera rivelazione! Abbiamo pranzato in giardino, sotto un grande ciliegio, il personale è stato da subito cordiale e pronto per ogni esigenza ( abbiamo una bimba piccola). Menù sia tradizionale che più sperimentale: provati entrambi, impeccabili su tutta la linea! Prezzo nella media della zona ed equo per la qualità del cibo e del servizio.
