29/07/2025: On my way back from my travels, I decided to stop for dinner in Casale and chose this restaurant for some meat. I must say that the quality is high and meets expectations, confirming the excellent reviews. The restaurant has been recently renovated and the owner is kind and professional. So I would recommend it. Prices are competitive in my opinion, but I was expecting a higher bill, but in this respect too I was pleasantly surprised. Congratulations and thank you for delighting me with an excellent dinner. Erik

16/07/2025: Siamo ritornati dopo un po’ di tempo per un pranzo in famiglia 3 e ci siamo accomodati nella saletta, piccola ed accogliente al piano superiore, e subito una gentile ragazza ci ha consegnato la carta dei vini con circa una decina di “etichette rosse” prettamente piemontesi e mediamente interessanti e pochi bianchi, ma d’altronde la specialità del locale è la carne. Il menù invece presenta una piccola e buona scelta di piatti piemontesi/monferrini tra antipasti, primi, dolci (di produzione propria) e carni, anche con la possibilità di gustarne di più insolite come il canguro e ben in vista nell’impianto di frollatura che troneggia in sala. Noi abbiamo optato per un antipasto condiviso, salumi e formaggi, direi di aspetto e gusto sufficiente; poi abbiamo ordinato lo stesso piatto, un’ottima tagliata con bacon croccante e per concludere un buon dessert, una Crema di yogurt e frutti di bosco. Abbiamo pasteggiato con un buon rosso piemontese, un l Ruchè Cherù Cantina Canato, vitigno classico del Monferrato Casalese, particolarmente gradevole e beverino, due bottiglie d’acqua e 3 caffè per un totale di € 148 in 3, nella media di simili posti. Cucina mediamente buona, materie prime di livello, servizio cordiale ed efficiente: per chi ama la carne è un locale da frequentare.

04/05/2025: Fabulous experience, excellent service and dishes, offers a choice of wines at moderate costs but of the highest quality.... The place is modern, well looked after and welcoming, there is also a heated outdoor room... what can I say, thanks for the welcome, see you soon.

17/08/2025: We finally managed to stop at Cascina Faletta, which we could see as we passed through Cellamonte, Rosignano, Vignate, Casale, and so on. The location is excellent. They also have their own wine cellar and are refining their products over time. We didn't use the restaurant, but we promised ourselves we would, to honor their philosophy. The property has undergone a renovation that pays attention to its traditional appearance—both rustic and elegant—but also to innovative materials and sustainability. It's also pet-friendly. Our room had a handicapped-accessible bathroom, so the shower was a little less pleasant, but it's a plus that they considered these needs. The pillows are super soft (does anyone like them?). The relaxation area, breakfast, and pool make all the difference, especially in the summer.

03/05/2025: We happened upon this village Osteria by chance and it was truly a pleasant experience. Simple decor, genuine food and lots of friendliness. Super peperonata. I will return.

06/03/2025: Locale un po' datato ma pulito. Si trova sulla strada principale del paese. Piatti abbondanti. Primo secondo e contorno. Con acqua e vino a 13 euro in settimana.

16/04/2025: Located next to the hospital... it's a really nice bar, well stocked, clean and well managed. The staff is dynamic, very kind and always available. Welcoming, hospitable, releases positive energy... in short, it is not the "usual hospital bar"

20/05/2025: They're at home now. But objectively it's the best pizza in the area hands down (Vercelli-Casale). Then each one is special, not the usual pizzas with an addition here and there. Beautiful (go and see them), good and genuine. The guys know what a pizza is. Be wary of "imitations" Don't pay too much attention to the service, it can be a bit confusing but it's a whole family that works there, that's okay.

02/08/2025: What a great find! An acquaintance had already raved about this restaurant, and today we were in the area and stopped for lunch. Everything was excellent! From the delicious and plentiful carbonara to the delicious coda alla vaccinara. Everything was well-cooked, the service was friendly and fast, the restaurant is rustic, and the price was excellent. We'd definitely recommend it, and we'll be back soon.

07/07/2025: Soft sour and soft yogurt ice cream. Thrown away to avoid stomach ache. The dose is really small for 3.20.

09/06/2025: A small but cozy ice cream shop, to die for. I had pistachio (my favorite) and a surprise fior d'arancio, and I'll be back tomorrow!

18/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati da Oscar con la famiglia a mangiare, ci siamo trovati benissimo, cibo ottimo e Oscar molto simpatico e accogliente. Consigliato !

13/03/2025: I wanted to go eat and then leave a review yesterday at noon. Too bad that when I arrived I found it closed, I called and they told me they are only open in the evening. Review not possible. Advice: update time on Google Maps, or remove yourself from there.

25/07/2025: Delicious pizza, terrible service. Suddenly I thought I was the victim of a candid camera. As soon as we arrived, I think the owner arrogantly invited us to follow him to a table. We politely asked if there was no room outside. Annoyed, he replied, "I don't know," and carelessly threw the cutlery and napkins onto the table inside. When it was time to order, we asked what the half-meter pizza was like: we knew it was 50 cm, but we don't usually carry a ruler in our pockets, so, as stupid as it was, our question was factual. It would have been enough for him to show us the size with his hands, instead of answering us like a couple of idiots, "half a meter," with absurd arrogance. We ordered two regular pizzas. I specified that I wanted the pizza plain, enunciating and repeating the request, because the menu listed the pizza with tomato sauce. Afterwards, my companion returns the menus with some difficulty folding them, accompanied by the gentleman's comment: "Sure, let's crease it even more, come on." A wait ensues, during which he argues twice with a waitress who, poor thing, must have the patience of a saint. Finally, the pizzas arrive. Red. Both my companion and I work in the restaurant business, so we know mistakes can happen, and we normally try to cause as little disruption as possible. In other contexts, I would have eaten it, but given the owner's attitude, it seemed like the final straw. And we were wrong. We ask for a change. Without apology, the gentleman grabs the plate and, on sight, mutters, gesticulates, and gets worked up as if I weren't seeing him. Luckily, the pizza chef, who brings me the correct pizza, is polite, courteous, and kind. And mortified. Finally, we ask for two bitters. "With ice?" "No, no ice." I get the ice, and I drink it, laughing, because now we're at the height of absurdity. Meanwhile, the owner starts snapping at the holy waitress again. We go to pay: we pay with our tickets, missing three euros and something. The cashier, obviously the owner-waiter's brother, gets annoyed because we want to pay the rest by card. A truly Ionesco-esque evening. It's even sad to say the pizza is delicious, because they deserve to close, given their attitude toward their work and customers.

24/07/2025: The pizza was good. I had sausage and broccoli rabe, and my partner had a white 4-cheese pizza. She repeatedly told the waiter (owner) "white." The pizza arrived red. We pointed this out, and the owner threw a tantrum. So, the pizza was good, but the owner/waiter was rude and unfriendly, and he doesn't interact with the public.

12/08/2025: Dirty glasses, noisy place, carbonara with cream and pancetta. Highly not recommended!

06/08/2025: Visited a week ago. A popular place with prices in line with those of a kebab shop. Unfortunately, the quality leaves much to be desired: if you're looking to save money, it's fine; otherwise, it's best to look elsewhere. The staff isn't particularly friendly. It's a shame, because the name promised a tribute to Neapolitan cuisine, but expectations weren't met.
