09/08/2026: Stacciola, a small village in the Marche region, welcomes you to the hills. Its few inhabitants work hard to preserve and enhance its vitality despite its venerable age. It may seem incredible, but in this somewhat remote location, you can enjoy the excellent cuisine of Grotta di Tufo. The tagliata steak releases all the flavor of perfectly grilled meat from the first bite, the "banche del nonno" (grandfather's sticks) captivate with the aroma of fennel, and what about the "cristaiat" (pasta filled with zucchini blossom cream, pecorino cheese, and guanciale)? These are just a few of the dishes we enjoyed and discovered at lunch in the dining room and at dinner in the charming little square or on the veranda in front of the restaurant. The restaurateur skillfully divides his time between the kitchen, with the cooks, and the dining room. The young people form a team of truly skilled and friendly waiters. My husband and I truly hope to return to this cave of flavors. This is the Italy we can and should appreciate.
