16/07/2025: I come to Fermo every week for work, and I've tried (and reviewed) at least 15 nearby properties. I finally tried the Hotel Astoria, which boasts a prime location, practically right on the main square. Just one piece of advice: DON'T GO THERE. The only positive is the view, which you can easily find for half the price at any B&B in the Marche hills. Reasons: - It's poorly maintained and dirty (hair and pigeon droppings on the terrace); - The toilet didn't flush, and it wasn't fixed despite requests, so I can only imagine the unpleasant odors and situations; - The fire alarm had a dead battery, so it FLASHED every 15-20 seconds, and I can only imagine how anyone could sleep with a constant flash above the bed; - Since the aforementioned device was "irreparable," I asked to be changed rooms and was told it wasn't possible because the hotel was fully booked, even though that same afternoon I personally witnessed a couple walk-in and were sold a double room; - Broken air conditioning, with the louver falling in the middle of the night, blown by the wind. Upon checkout, I owed €41 in extras; the manager present acknowledged the problems and didn't even mention offering a coffee. A very ordinary canteen-style restaurant, with Michelin-starred à la carte prices that are absurd in terms of value for money. Above all, there's no point in spending more when in the Marche region you'll find dozens of new, well-kept B&Bs that thrive on commitment, hard work, and love for their guests, rather than the pomp and circumstance of 30 years ago.

21/06/2025: Food that doesn't taste like fish, small dishes, zero service, you have to go and look for waiters, they are never present in the room, they make a 2 year old child pay for the service and don't even set the table for him, high quality/price ratio, shame about the sea view

07/06/2025: We organized a class dinner for a group of about 35 people with the “pizza tour” formula, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The price paid was decidedly high compared to what we ate: there were few pizzas, of unsatisfactory quality, and those that arrived at the table were not even tasted because they were already taken away without even asking us anything. A real shame, because the atmosphere could have been pleasant, but the service and management of the dinner were not up to par, especially for a large group. I would not recommend it for similar events.

15/06/2025: Oasi di tranquillità, location confortevole e cucina ottima, dotati di camere/ appartamenti con piu posti letto non manca nulla frigo, tv , cucinotto, clima massima pulizia delle camere. Il personale accoglie e segue con gentilezza e disponibilità non invasiva, sala pranzo o cena interna ed esterna quest'ultima panoramica per cenare al tramonto con le prelibatezze locali. Si mangia veramente bene. Zona piscina immersa nel verde e ben curata. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazie

10/06/2025: Abbiamo alloggiato due notti, camera e tutta la location curatissima e pulitissima Colazione davvero eccezionale, il personale tutto gentilissimo Abbiamo anche cenato nella struttura una sera, molto soddisfatti Rapporto qualità, prezzo eccellente Qualità della colazione altissima, torte fatte in casa deliziose Tutto estremamente pulito e curato ingredienti ottimi anche per la cena

01/09/2025: Just returned from our second vacation at La Capannina. We had a wonderful time, just like last year. Many thanks to all the staff and entertainment staff. Always perfect. This year we had even more fun than last year. La Capannina is a lively yet peaceful resort. But what makes it special, in our opinion, are the entertainment, the private beach, and the pools. In short, we can't wait to return next year, and the year after that, and the year after that. Thank you, Capannina ♥️ we highly recommend it.

30/08/2025: An unforgettable vacation! The resort is exactly as described and shown in the photos: everything corresponds to the information we received during booking. We stayed in a brick bungalow, which was comfortable and perfectly in line with the images seen on the website. Impeccable cleanliness, both inside and in the common areas. The staff and owner are truly special: cheerful, helpful, and able to make you feel immediately at home. The entertainment program is truly fantastic! The staff are polite, engaging, and manage to entertain both adults and children without ever being intrusive. The well-equipped beach is easily accessible on foot with a pleasant stroll. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles or take advantage of the shuttle service. An absolutely positive experience, a place we will cherish and will definitely return to. An ideal resort for families. 07/06/2025: My wife and I were there for the June 1st long weekend, beautiful and clean structure, friendly and welcoming managers, abundant breakfast, nothing to say everything perfect I recommend it

18/05/2025: Esempio di come non fidarsi delle recensioni, siamo arrivati un sabato sera, disponibile solo pizza, poche persone e ambiente freddo. La cameriera giovane di buona volontà ma non sufficiente a riempire un vuoto. Pizza sufficiente, poca scelta con la birra, di positivo solo i prezzi, giusti per quello che si è consumato.

29/06/2025: Luogo caratteristico, accogliente, ben curato e ottimo personale, abbiamo più volte cenato con pietanze deliziose, consiglio vivamente.

23/06/2025: A volte leggere le recensioni può essere fuorviante, però non si può andare sempre alla cieca così questa volta abbiamo fatto bene a fidarci e, una volta provato non posso far altro che confermare i giudizi positivi letti! I ragazzi di sala sono preparati e gentili e le cuoche sono bravissime. Ristorante molto consigliato 😋

06/07/2025: The young waiters were great, really kind...but be careful with the bill the owner makes, always double check, because you might find surprises: some things are really too expensive, for example €4 for a bottle of water, €6 for a small and mediocre dessert. Also, I found myself marked with two extra coffees, even though both I and the waitress had specified the correct number to the owner. Another time I found myself marked with an extra pizza. I think you need to be careful when you write things down...I won't be back.
