08/08/2025: Every year (for 30 years now), I absolutely can't help but stop by! I've always had a great experience, but I have to say that this year Vincenzo and his team have outdone themselves. What you see in the photo is a simply grilled tuna fillet, and some of you might say, "Well, come on...what's the big deal?" But I disagree. The service begins as soon as you set foot in the chalet, when, very hesitant, you don't know what to order. Vincenzo advises you, pampers you...he makes you feel at home (not something you can take for granted). Shall we talk about the choice of raw materials? Excellent! Shall we talk about the type of cooking required? Perfect. Shall we talk about the presentation of the dishes? (Because, yes, the eye also wants its part) Careful and fun in the combination of colors. My husband and son were invited here (I was invited too, but I couldn't make it 😩) for birthday parties, and they came home beyond thrilled with what they tasted. While they were telling me about all of Vincenzo's delicacies, I thought, "Damn my job! Next time, I'll do anything to be there 😩" Sorry for being so long-winded; I'm off now because I have to choose dessert 🤗🤗 UPDATE: I came back and tried their grilled vegetable skewers... I WANT TO BE ADOPTED BY THEM 😋😋😋😋😋

25/07/2025: 28 (from 26 to 30) I might return when I'm in the area, but I'll also consider other options first. Location 7: Clean, plenty of space between tables. Menu 7: Mainly seafood, but also pizza. The first course is good and the portions are generous. The second course is adequate, but the portions are a bit small. The desserts are very good, especially the cremolada. Service 7: Friendly and not pushy. Bill 7: Overall, reasonable for what we ate.

28/08/2025: "You pay less, you eat less." Well, it was a disappointment. The quality of the mussels is poor, as is the cooking... Extremely slow service. We won't be back.

12/07/2025: Quando tra gli antipasti, l’irrinunciabile set del Tropical, ti trovi un tortino di alici, fiori di zucca, ricotta in salsa di zucchine, ti rendi conto che non parli di un semplice seppure ragguardevole ristorante, ma di qualcosa in più dove la differenza la fa la vocazione alla sperimentazione del proprietario, Tonino, con il quale puoi passare un dopocena a parlare della storia della cucina a 360 gradi, alta cucina e cucina casalinga. Per questo andare al Tropical significa farsi accompagnare da Tonino, certi di essere in mani che hanno cuore la tua soddisfazione. Le pannocchie, il polipo in salsa di patate, un gazpacho con gamberetti, la “carbonara di mare “ con uova di pesce, un’ottima millefoglie e un fresco Malvasia, ci hanno regalato una bellissima serata e come clienti abituali, una conferma di eccellenza.

03/05/2025: Andavo ai bagni tropical quando i miei figli erano piccoli e ogni tanto frequentavo il ristorante . Sono stato mercoledì 30 aprile di passaggio e devo dire che il ristorante è rimasto come allora: pesce fresco, antipasti diversi da allora ma fantastici, pesce freschissimo proposto in modo originale. L’unica frittura che riesco a digerire è questa. Da provare assolutamente e fidatevi dei consigli del titolare ..

18/08/2025: Unfortunately, a necessary warning. I'm writing this review with regret, because I've enjoyed your *GLUTEN-FREE* pizza for a long time and have gladly chosen to return. Unfortunately, the last two experiences in a month haven't been positive, and I think it's right to share them, especially for someone like me who lives with celiac disease. The product I was served didn't live up to my expectations: the crust clearly seemed prepackaged and, unfortunately, not the best. Even the toppings, especially the tomato, had an unnatural flavor; the whole thing caused me discomfort during the night. I fully understand that managing gluten-free options requires special attention and costs, but a €3.50 surcharge on such a modest-quality pizza is unacceptable. Not so much for the price itself, but for the feeling that those with specific dietary needs are being accommodated without any real attention to quality. I'm writing this comment in the hope that it might inspire a rethink of some of our choices. Having gluten-free pizza isn't mandatory. We celiac customers aren't looking for privileges, but simply to be able to eat with the same satisfaction as everyone else.

09/07/2025: Absolutely disappointing in every respect. We go to Italy quite often, and I love Italian food and have rarely been disappointed—quite the opposite! But this was by far the worst grilled fish platter ever. Even the tiny slice of lime on the plate looked like it had been on the beach for days and was slightly dehydrated! On top of that, 20 euros for a carafe of house wine! In all the other restaurants in Grottamare, we paid a maximum of 12 euros for a bottle of delicious wine! This is pure rip-off! The service wasn't exactly great either. If you like going home hungry and frustrated and paying a lot of money for a carelessly prepared, cold, and minimalist fish platter, this is the place for you! Even the great view of the sea doesn't help much!!!!

01/05/2025: Fanno i frappè su bicchiere piccolo che sembra 15 cl, quando i normali frappè sono da minimo più del doppio. Mi hanno messo 2 palline di gelato piccole e mezzo litro di latte: giuro mezzo litro, che poi hanno buttato. Risultato era un bicchiere di latte con un vago sapore alla nocciola. Volevo riportarlo ma ormai lo avevano provato tutti i miei amici ed era meno della metà. Senza parole. 3,50€ buttati!
