05/04/2025: I had planned for a quick dinner on the way to the airport and I was pleasantly drawn into one of the best ‘Cena Degustazione’ I had in my life. The dinner was inspired by the Tuscan cuisine and every amazing dish was paired with perfect wines from the Capezzana winery. What an experience! Thank you.

11/04/2025: My first time was by chance... the classic situation.... you decide to go out for dinner on a Saturday night and you find yourself wandering among your restaurants in your area (Arona, Lake Maggiore) without finding a place, then you decide to change and go to the Varese area; passing through Somma I noticed this place, we entered and were welcomed by the owners in a splendid way, it was full, it was late, a situation that normally leads the innkeeper to be irritated and tired, therefore not inclined towards human relationships, but not them; they offered us, I repeat offered, some bubbles while waiting for some of their guests to leave the table, they were super hospitable, we ate very well, the staff is of a high standard, very professional and polite. I won't describe the place which, for my tastes, is very interesting, I won't tell you about the food because to say it's excellent is an understatement, but I recommend it for the climate, the welcome is out of the ordinary, since that Saturday evening this restaurant has become the point of reference for my family. so even if we are out of the area we often return because we feel like we are not at the restaurant, but having dinner with friends... What else can I say, my review is not the result of a visit, but of an analysis of the repeatability of the dinners, so thanks to all the staff for the hospitality, professionalism and friendliness you show us every time. 19/04/2025: The restaurant was completely full, but we still got a table. The pizzas were absolutely amazing! The house wine was Frizzante and lightly sweet, really good. The price level was affordable. Strong recommendation!

13/04/2025: Marido y yo cenamos en marzo de 2024. Tuvimos una estancia de una noche en el Holiday Inn Express para tomar un vuelo temprano por la mañana a Londres a la mañana siguiente. Nuestras preocupaciones sobre la cena se pusieron fin ya que el hotel recomendó este restaurante a 10 minutos a pie. Llegamos temprano ya que no teníamos una reserva, y afortunadamente así como el restaurante se llenó rápidamente. No habíamos tenido grandes expectativas aparte de un lugar donde pudiéramos conseguir algo de comida. La comida aquí, sin embargo, era sorprendentemente bueno, y Samarcanda resultó ser uno de los mejores restaurantes que habíamos cenado en Milán.

26/03/2025: The place is a bit cramped. Neither a trattoria nor a restaurant, the environment in my opinion is a bit "sad". The food is decent, perhaps a bit too seasoned. The service is quite fast. The Fork discount is applied correctly.

16/03/2025: Scelto di ritorno da un viaggio in quanto si trova a ca 15 minuti dall'aeroporto di Malpensa. Prenotato con TheFork. Rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo eccezionale. Abbiamo assaggiato tre primi buonissimi e un ottimo tagliere di formaggi con miele e marmellata. Consigliatissimo.

Una bella atmosfera, rilassante con tavoli spaziati e spaziosi...per noi è stata una bella scoperta...ci torneremo presto!

06/03/2025: Good experience in this famous and historic venue. I hadn't been back for years, but a dinner with friends made me rediscover it. Almost everything was perfect, both food and service.

19/04/2025: From reading the review I expected something better than this. All the food we ordered was prepared food that was taken out of a bag and thrown into the oil or on the grill, all industrial and cheap, to get such food it is better to go to McDonald's where at least you know exactly what you are getting.

09/04/2025: Arriving back from the airport we were looking for something comfortable that was open! Found by chance there was no one there, it was already two o'clock, but they made us two good pizzas on the fly and with a pizza menu with coffee and water included. Courtesy and availability despite the time, we are in the Milan area, I don't take it for granted at all. Internal parking shared with the gym.

28/03/2025: Very good pizza, too bad it's not the same for the kitchen. Very salty pesto pasta and too thin and dry chicken breast. Excellent service from the young lady All in all I recommend it
