11/06/2025: Great pizzas and, above all, super friendly service. Even when we couldn't get a table, they conjured up three takeaway pizzas for us. It's best to reserve a table in advance so you won't be disappointed.

19/06/2025: I don't even know what to write about this.
My husband had a piece of lasagna. The waiter praised it for being topped with ragu. It had everything but ragu. It tasted of nothing, and the portion size wasn't justified for the price.
The pizza was actually just mozzarella, and the dough had a strange aftertaste to me.
I wouldn't eat there again.
At the tables next to us, someone also asked if the pizza should be sliced. We weren't asked, and we weren't given any seasoning to add.

01/06/2025: The location on the lake is beautiful, but is it possible that you can't put a playlist on, and not have to listen to deafening advertisements? It feels like being in a hair salon.
The water in the bottles on tap, excellent, super eco-friendly, but the bottle should be perfectly clean.

01/07/2025: Waiters who pass you by several times without asking if you need to sit down. Aperitif with watered down bitter spritz. Only the view is worth it.

28/05/2025: An Italian family business, just what you'd want. We've been coming back for 33 years.
The pizzas are wonderful, but so are all the other dishes.
All the other dishes are beautifully presented and very tasty.
It's wonderful that it's still there.
You should make a reservation, as it's always busy.

11/06/2025: Not highly recommended. They seem to systematically cheat, especially when it comes to billing. We were charged extra for a bottle of water, and I've heard similar things from others.

11/06/2025: It was absolutely wonderful! We were surprised with 7(!) pizzas and other appetizers. The food was delicious, and the staff were truly accommodating! To finish off, we were treated to a lemon sorbet on the house and a whole(!) bottle of homemade limoncello. It was truly a fantastic experience! Thank you so much and highly recommended!
11/06/2025: We had dinner with 11 people; we got 7 pizzas and 3 mixed salads on the house! For dessert, we also had lemon sorbet and limincello with Mario. The very friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and the drinks were well-stocked.
We'll be back!

20/05/2025: Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante con tanto fascino tramite una persona che viva a luino e per fortuna perché quel martedì era chiuso tutto chiuso. Il cibo è variato e buono e mangiare lungo la strada poco traffica ha sua fascino
03/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo da al Cantinone ,è stata un’esperienza sicuramente da ripetere. Personale preparato e cordiale, ambiente curato nei dettagli e pulito,un plauso alla Cucina originale e piena di sapore.
Questo ristorante mi sentirei di consigliarlo ad a occhi chiusi.
Complimenti a tutto lo staff!!!

27/03/2025: Good regular beer but nothing more, service too; impersonal almost unpleasant the bartender perhaps I would say the owner?! Then there are branches of regular customers in evidence with a gross and alcoholic appearance, all in all a cliché of an unsuccessful pub with very expensive beer prices, it's a shame it could have been better, regards.
02/11/2024: It's okay that it's the end of the tourist season, but I think we should still pay attention to the people who order at the counter, without treating them disdainfully. Too bad, they told us about it very well. Nice music selection, good beer.

11/06/2025: We were here today (before reading the reviews) and right at the beginning we were approached (more like shouted at) by a man with gray curls who shook our hands and put on a show (I thought to myself that it wasn't necessarily rude, as some might find it funny). He brought us to the table and immediately wanted to know what we wanted to order. I really don't have high standards, but I've never had such bad spaghetti ice cream. It didn't taste like vanilla and was simply poor quality. When he brought me the water I ordered, he called me "honey," which I find really offensive the way he said it. We also very nicely asked if we could have chips with the Aperol Spritz (the Aperol Spritz was very expensive, by the way, and the glass was dirty). He obviously didn't like that much and said, "No, finito." He then brought two bowls of chips and popcorn, which is nice in itself. However, it appeared to be the remains of several bags of chips, as they were just crumbs, and the popcorn was also 50% just kernels. He came back after a while and suddenly wanted us to pay, even though we weren't finished. The bill was handwritten, and we couldn't check the menu to see if the prices were correct. If the guy hadn't been so rude, we might have been able to enjoy it a bit, but he really ruined our good mood. When I read the other bad reviews, I almost had to laugh at how well they really describe 100% what we experienced here today.
Don't go here if you don't want to have your good mood ruined!
31/05/2025: The gray-haired man (presumably the clown boss) is absolutely rude and cheats tourists. We've been there many times and were completely satisfied with the friendly lady.
As of today, we won't be entering this bar again.
