01/05/2024: What to say. We went last night. Me and my wife. Super nice environment, very clean everywhere. Very efficient service, super friendly, helpful and prepared staff. Excellent food and super generous portions. Definitely above average. Highly recommended. Excellent menu. Excellent prices, you can eat well for 15 euros. Beautiful evening. I forgot!! Excellent wine and beer list. We ate a lot and drank well. Then the desserts are a delight.

18/03/2024: The venue itself would be nice and in a great location, overlooking the lake. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it is a cocktail bar, not an Irish pub as the name suggests, so forget Guinness or other beers, here you only drink Italian beer. It could probably deserve 4 or 5 stars from the point of view of cocktails and alcohol, but if you are looking for a place to have a snack be prepared to pay about double what you expect. In summary: the quality is good, but the quality/price ratio is inadequate. I understand charging for the lake view, but the tables directly overlook the busy street, so the donation for the lake view is rather poorly calibrated.

Everything was delicious, the service was fast, and the quality/price ratio was excellent, the place was clean, the Mussolini-esque owner seemed a little grumpy (a "busy" table in the room certainly didn't help) but was instead accommodating to our children and was able to give us the best advice. Well done. P.S. the coffee is also good (not so obvious)

13/02/2024: Andare in pasticceria Del Duca a Laveno Mombello è stata una bella esperienza nel senso più dolce del termine. Questo gioiellino di pasticceria è un vero paradiso per gli amanti dei dolci, un posto dove l'arte della pasticceria viene esaltata in ogni singolo pezzo. Dai retta non dopo una passeggiata sul lago è il luogo perfetto per rilassarti. Merita!

05/01/2024: Small but very welcoming restaurant. The staff is very kind. They don't have a huge menu but the things they offer are delicious. The veranda overlooks the lake and in the afternoon it is a spectacle with the sun. I had a starter with Norwegian salmon and croutons. And as a first course a risotto with radicchio and zola, delicious! Only one bathroom but nice, clean and spacious.

30/10/2023: I usually go to this restaurant for my lunch break, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the dishes are good and the price is reasonable. Recommended even just to try. Comfortable, private and relaxed environment. Inside a free book sharing library!

05/11/2023: A simple place but don't be fooled by its appearance, inside you will be greeted with friendliness and kindness, you will find a clean environment and attentive staff ready to satisfy your every need. The food was delicious, several choices on the fixed lunch menu with also vegetarian options. The generous portions. In my case there were six of us plus a dog and although we hadn't booked they immediately found a table for us, we tried various dishes on the menu including the pasta with venison ragù, the gorgonzola and pepper gnocchi, as for the first courses, scallops and stew as second courses. The side dishes are also very good. The desserts were excellent to conclude, in particular I really appreciated the chocolate cake with a dark heart and the salted caramel cheesecake. We accompanied lunch with an excellent house wine. Excellent price for quality and quantity: first course, second course, side dish, water, wine and coffee approximately less than €20 each. 100% recommended

02/11/2023: When I'm in Laveno to work, I always go for my lunch break, it's open every day except Sunday. For lunch during the week they offer a fixed price menu: Full menu €14 Second menu €11 First menu €9 With water and coffee included. The service is very quick and the dishes are good portions. The dishes are good, cooked well with quality ingredients. It is an excellent restaurant for the lunch break.
