10/11/2025: Charming place, warm atmosphere, and excellent location. Lunch included fried gnocco with lard, polenta, stew, and mushrooms, and chestnut ravioli. Everything was delicious and well-served. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value. Recommended!

The staff were very kind and welcoming, the food was delicious, the lunch menu costing €14 was fair, and the food was plentiful. I recommend ordering the house dish, La Lampada, as usual.
27/09/2025: When I heard the waiter call "Angelo" toward the kitchen, I knew it was going to be good. Of course, there's a bit of stereotyping involved, but the place was simply amazing. The pizza came fresh out of the oven two minutes after ordering, prices were like they were in the good old days, and the service was fantastic and friendly.

10/12/2025: We dined in the restaurant...a very elegant place with a picturesque view. The staff were truly friendly, especially when it came to off-menu requests, which were all accommodated. You could sense the quality of the products and the attention to detail in the dishes...it was a wonderful discovery, highly recommended.

16/10/2025: I've eaten at the restaurant twice already and it's always been a pleasant and tasty experience. This time, in October, the entire menu was autumn-themed. Pumpkin, chestnuts, and mushrooms. Everything made with love and skill. We had the tasting menu and I have to say it was excellent, plentiful (too much, I'd say, we "gave up" on the main course) and the desserts were delicious. We'll be back.
16/10/2025: Fantastic journey! We chose the tastes menu curated by the chef and it was quite a ride, The theme was fall, and the tables were decorated with pumpkins. We got creative tasty starters, all fall themed and different colored dishes, wonderful meats tray, main dishes were great, amount were crazy! Lots and lots of good food. Desserts were mouthwatering! The chef is passionate and the service is exceptional. Wonderful experience!

01/12/2025: I only had the cake and a cappuccino for breakfast but it was really good, a very good shortcrust pastry for a pear and chocolate cake, other possibilities with blueberries etc.. historic restaurant, excellent location I think the quality is similar to the cake

21/09/2025: Home cooking with quality ingredients. The legendary Brigida (owner and cook) truly knows how to live the life of a traditional innkeeper. So, in addition to her divine cooking, she also manages to entertain and delight her guests with stories and tales! 👏💪
Highly recommended!
16/09/2025: The food was not so overwhelming! The perch fillet was fried and quite bland. The only reason to visit, is the old couple who run it and they give you a bit of an italian experience.

22/10/2025: I stumbled upon this trattoria in Laveno Mombello after finding many lakeside establishments closed or without a fixed-price lunch menu. I had a truly positive experience at this family-run restaurant, where I enjoyed a full menu for €15: braised ravioli, roast beef, baked potatoes, water, and coffee. The food was truly high-quality, especially the meat, both in the filling and the main course. The service was friendly, a bit slow for a business lunch, but it was a special day as there were many construction workers. The atmosphere is typical of a simple trattoria, maintaining the traditional design of days gone by. Recommended. 4⭐
22/10/2025: Such a great experience, having lunch with the locals.
It was lunch time, so all tables were full. However, the owner moved some tables around and brought another table from the terrace, to accommodate us.
They have a daily menu with 3 choices of first course and 3 choices of second course.
Delicios traditional food, great authentic atmosphere.

27/09/2025: Perfect cocktails! The only place in Laveno for a pleasant aperitivo. I recommend Il bacio di Klimt, a fantastic cocktail: coconut, stega, pineapple, chili pepper, pineapple... The bartender, Patrick, is excellent. The lake view, great music, and friendly waiters are not to be underestimated!

The food was decent, the staff friendly. All in all, we had a good time.
06/12/2025: We spontaneously stopped there for a sundowner. Everything was really well-maintained, attentive, and delicious.

10/09/2025: Terrible service, a chef who looks like a bricklayer, grumpy owners, it seems like you bother them when you show up, a terrible place, long waits to pay, poor food, maybe it's better for them to change jobs, if they can't do something they leave you waiting forever, why don't they hire staff, I wonder? I'll never go back, I don't recommend it, not to mention the son, he doesn't even know what catering is, and he's just there, but that's not his job, in this job you need humility, kindness, and patience, I've seen people leave, not to mention the waitress doesn't even speak Italian very well, I think she's Romanian, she doesn't understand anything, always nervous, never a smile, let alone the owner, unique arrogance. I don't recommend it.

28/09/2025: Very nicely located. Shady. Overwhelmed at lunchtime. The male waitresses were very courteous, but the two female staff were unfortunately disgruntled. Lots of pasta and very few vongole. Too expensive for that.
