20/09/2024: What can I say... right from the start I was speechless at the fantastic location, the property welcomed us with open arms with my little French Bull dog puppy! Fantastic place, fragrant and very well looked after... exceptional dishes and wine! I will definitely come back

09/01/2025: I had dinner with friends, even though there was a company event that evening, we had a great time isolated in a room dedicated to us, the service was fast and friendly and the exports were good and plentiful. Excellent experience, we will definitely return during the day to enjoy the view it promises to have.

08/01/2025: If I can say one thing about the worst restaurant in Laveno, it is: the pasta could pass for water wings! You'd think they would have wanted a swell of two meters - that's how little they were actually in the water. Very hard and not al dente at all! . And the pizzas? I've seen better circles in a math class. The pizza maker should definitely take a trip to the pizza school - perhaps to “Pizza and Oyster”, which is 300 meters further away. There are pizzas there that do justice to this world cultural heritage. And the terrace? Instead of a pleasant, romantic atmosphere, you sit directly at a busy roundabout. Who needs a view of nature when you can experience the thrill of traffic up close? I went there twice in total: the first time not to give up hope, and the last time to remember once and for all that I don't even have to go to the culinary dreamland to experience a nightmare!

13/11/2024: We chose to have a giropizza because there were twenty of us so we could all eat together but it was useless. Long waiting times and long pauses between one pizza and another. Not special pizza and starting from the simplest. Very homely environment.

19/11/2024: We were guests of friends. We will never stop thanking them. They introduced us to one of the EXCEPTIONAL little restaurants. Thanks to Brigida who made us feel like old friends. Now let's move on to the serious things: from appetizers to desserts I have to give 6 (six) stars. All the dishes served were accompanied by explanations (where, when and why). So many special features that we promised ourselves to return and try them. Very fair quality/price. Family atmosphere and very nice. THANKS again to Brigida and her husband.

23/12/2024: Rustic mountain restaurant, the food is excellent, excellent and well-executed dishes, their specialty is dishes based on game, deer, wild boar and roe deer. Informal but well-executed service, average prices, justified by the excellent value for money. Large and convenient parking, spectacular view. The only negative point is the road to reach the restaurant, but just pay attention and you can get there easily.

24/11/2024: Abbiamo cenato e pranzato diverse volte in questo ristorante insieme ad amici, che dire ottimo come sempre!! Cibo buonissimo e personale gentilissimo, difficilmente senza prenotazione si riesce a trovare posto, Prezzi assolutamente adeguati alla qualità e al servizio. Luisa e Piero

09/01/2025: Wir waren zu Silvester / Capodanno 2024 zum Abendessen in der Hosteria dal Golfo - um es mit einem Satz auszudrücken: es war ein fantastischer Abend! Das Menü war absolut super, geschmacklich und qualitativ auf sehr, sehr hohem Niveau, wirklich jeder Gang ein Genuss. Die passenden Weinbegleitung war ebenfalls sehr, sehr gut gewählt und Preis-/Leistungsmäßig top. Es wurde auch ausreichend Wein ausgeschenkt bzw. nachgeschenkt. Last but not least: der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Silversterabend und besonderer Jahresabschluss - Danke an das Team der Hosteria dal Golfo!

09/01/2025: A disaster. I went there this summer and they couldn't be more disorganized. We start by sitting on shaky chairs a few centimeters away from nearby tables, thus having no privacy. After waiting 15 minutes and after seeing everyone who sat down after us ordering, we ask a waiter for explanations who replies that he doesn't take care of it and that another boy would have arrived to take the orders. After waiting another 5 minutes the boy finally arrives. After waiting another 20 minutes only a pizza and chips arrive. We ask where the rest of the order is and we are told that they had forgotten the rest. The food was good, but the tomato on the pizza was sour. The prices would have been fair if the quality had been higher. As far as the environment is concerned, the only good thing is the lake view, because the lack of distance between one table and another prevented a private conversation and consequently a pleasant meal. In all of this we would still be waiting for natural water that never arrived.

08/01/2025: Christmas spritz with a view of the magnificent gulf of Laveno M.llo. friendly staff, fast service and aperitif with cold cuts and finger food. A winter gem, the wool blankets to be able to cover your legs while drinking and observing the view.

31/12/2024: Ate today with family. Second course good, but first course too raw, it was imaginable. Unpleasant waitress. I will definitely not return

03/10/2024: Abbiamo fatto aperitivo. Possibilità di aggiungere al prezzo del drink un tagliere di stuzzichini che viene 2€ a persona (tra l'altro molto buono). Personale gentile e prezzi nella media. Unico appunto dovrebbero aggiungere anche i prezzi degli spritz sul listino, sarebbe più corretto inserirli.

05/01/2024: Small but very welcoming restaurant. The staff is very kind. They don't have a huge menu but the things they offer are delicious. The veranda overlooks the lake and in the afternoon it is a spectacle with the sun. I had a starter with Norwegian salmon and croutons. And as a first course a risotto with radicchio and zola, delicious! Only one bathroom but nice, clean and spacious.

30/10/2023: I usually go to this restaurant for my lunch break, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the dishes are good and the price is reasonable. Recommended even just to try. Comfortable, private and relaxed environment. Inside a free book sharing library!
