26/12/2025: Everything was excellent, but it's a shame that some dishes were off-menu and weren't told about them. We only discovered them by looking at the neighboring tables, and we would have happily eaten them instead of the cold cuts.

10/12/2025: We dined in the restaurant...a very elegant place with a picturesque view. The staff were truly friendly, especially when it came to off-menu requests, which were all accommodated. You could sense the quality of the products and the attention to detail in the dishes...it was a wonderful discovery, highly recommended.

21/09/2025: Home cooking with quality ingredients. The legendary Brigida (owner and cook) truly knows how to live the life of a traditional innkeeper. So, in addition to her divine cooking, she also manages to entertain and delight her guests with stories and tales! 👏💪
Highly recommended!
16/09/2025: The food was not so overwhelming! The perch fillet was fried and quite bland. The only reason to visit, is the old couple who run it and they give you a bit of an italian experience.

27/09/2025: Perfect cocktails! The only place in Laveno for a pleasant aperitivo. I recommend Il bacio di Klimt, a fantastic cocktail: coconut, stega, pineapple, chili pepper, pineapple... The bartender, Patrick, is excellent. The lake view, great music, and friendly waiters are not to be underestimated!

01/03/2026: We stayed here as a couple with a small child. Some friends booked us a room here. It was an absolutely negative experience. The room was filled with the smell of cooking from the restaurant downstairs. My wife slept upstairs with sheets that smelled of sweat and found a bedbug. The bathroom was full of cobwebs. I slept downstairs, and unfortunately, I find it unhygienic to sleep without sheets but only with a duvet, especially when it's obviously not clean. Absolutely negative experience.
02/01/2026: A lunch that was worth the trip: quality, professionalism, and expertise in a truly lovely, bright, and welcoming venue with a lake view. Compliments to Chef Matteo and the dining room staff. Thank you so much.

13/02/2026: Currently the restaurant with the best value for money on the Eastern Shore. Traditional dishes, well-cooked and served in equally satisfying portions. The chocolate salami is absolutely the best I've ever tasted. It's a shame they can't make a note of your reservation: when you arrive, they'll just place you anywhere, and sometimes it's almost right on your doorstep... 🫤

28/02/2026: Excellent... Super fresh fish... it feels like being in Milan... A welcoming atmosphere, like being at home... Excellent prices and attention to detail, from the biscuit to the coffee, to the little details. The friendly owner and son of the owner, Davide, is super smart and easy-going. (Lately, you have to book on weekends because their good work and professionalism bring in a lot of customers.)

28/09/2025: Very nicely located. Shady. Overwhelmed at lunchtime. The male waitresses were very courteous, but the two female staff were unfortunately disgruntled. Lots of pasta and very few vongole. Too expensive for that.

02/02/2026: Passing through Laveno for a day trip, we stopped at this pastry shop to warm up.
The service was definitely good, although I had ordered a plain hot chocolate with cream, but it arrived dusted with cocoa powder. Anyway, the hot chocolates and pastries were mediocre, nothing particularly good, and the chocolates were lumpy.
Otherwise, nothing special.
Prices were typical of cross-border commuters, Swiss, or Milanese.
