09/02/2026: I gave the food three stars because, without a doubt, their strong point is the pizza, which is delicious. The rest is a matter of course...
If you come on Saturday and Sunday, they give the impression they want to rush you out. I've been to this restaurant three times and noticed that if you come during the week, they work properly, but on Saturday and Sunday, they're like an assembly line.
Gorgeous location with an excellent view!
Fair prices for pizzas and desserts, but if you want first and second courses, other places are better.
Unfortunately, Angera is a deathbed...

11/10/2025: It's like going to lunch at an aunt's house; you eat on the veranda, right in the owners' home. A true agriturismo, simple as it should be. Excellent pumpkin and gorgonzola risotto, and the savory pie and desserts are also excellent. The appetizer was meager, and the price was perhaps a bit high for what we ate. However, we had a great time, especially with the kids.

12/01/2026: We often return to Osteria Melograno! An intimate restaurant, divine cuisine, especially if you love grilled meat, but not only that... Chef Luca is a wonderful host and knows how to create sophisticated dishes and unique pairings. The service is always impeccable, and last but not least, you'll find a truly excellent wine cellar. Highly recommended!
12/11/2025: Excellent meal from start to finish! Everything was delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender; from the vegetables accompanying the meat to the desserts. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

We had two Margherita pizzas, and I have to say they were very good. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is truly friendly. I'll definitely be back to try some of the pasta dishes.
12/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve there and everything was beautiful: friendly staff, romantic atmosphere, and truly excellent food.
The next day for lunch we had pizza (delicious!)

18/05/2025: Beer house with a good selection of beers, large space both inside and outside. Poorly managed internal acoustics: the voices of the customers create somewhat annoying resonances, which hinder conversation. Kind and efficient staff, recommended especially in the summer.

05/10/2025: For October, we grabbed a table in the sun, and it felt like we were on vacation, outside of Lombardy but in a tiny place by the sea. The idiosyncrasy also manifests itself in the atmosphere: upon entering, it feels like being in a beer garden, and it's truly hilarious to see how longtime aficionados are there. Very distinctive. It doesn't go unnoticed.
21/09/2025: Aside from the dirty tables and various messes... We waited for even half an hour to be served... The place was half empty. Of course we left, they didn't even say hello.

05/05/2025: Siamo andati un pomeriggio per fare merenda con due bambini piccoli! Il gelato è molto buono, c'è spazio sia per consumarlo seduti che andare in giro per il parco. Ci sono diversi animali, un asino, un pony, un cavallo, due struzzi, degli alpaca, un sacco di galline, un gufo reale, un allocco, tre pavoni, delle pecore delle capre e delle mucche! Ci sono anche dei giochi dove poter intrattenere i più piccoli!
In giro ci sono delle fontanelle molto utili! Regola importante: non portarsi dietro da mangiare per gli animali perché è vietato darglielo!!
14/04/2025: Consiglio di fermarsi in questo Agriturismo.
Vicinissimo al lungolago di Angera e alla celebre Rocca Borromea.
Ambiente familiare con i titolari che sanno accoglierti come in una famiglia.
La sala è molto curata in ogni dettaglio e il giardino e la "fattoria" è un luogo interessante da visitare.
Il cibo è vario e di ottima qualità. Le portate sono abbondanti e sempre differenti in base al periodo e la stagione.
Per iniziare al meglio scegliete l'antipasto della casa con diverse portate, una migliore dell'altra.
Consigliatissimi i gustosi risotti Carnaroli e i secondi di carne scelta.
Ho provato anche la paella di lago e l'ho trovata un piatto molto originale e veramente eccellente.
Passo diverse volte in questo luogo e, sinceramente, lo consiglio a tutti!

23/09/2024: dopo un viaggio per arrivare dome ci eravamo sentiti dispersi vediamo apparire le luci dell osteria come se fossimo in una fiaba, ed una volta entrato la magia ha preso amcora piu colore! atmosfera calda intima raffinata, lo staff (familiare) gentile educato preparato ed appassionato, i piatti deliziosi combinati con amore ed una ricercatezza nel dettaglio assolutamente raggiunta! siamo rimasti entusiasti….grazie della esperienza! un saluto dalla romagna
