16/03/2025: We stopped for an aperitif. Even though it was now dinner time, the innkeeper welcomed us very kindly, opened a bottle of wine for us and lit a candle. Super top service from a true host. We will definitely be back for dinner. Location and hospitality stole a piece of our heart.

30/09/2024: Ambientazione che ti mette a tuo agio, forse qualche tavolo di troppo ma accettabile.
Ottimo il menù che non ha tantissimi piatti, segno che la cucina è espressa.
Finalmente ho visto gli allergeni segnalati nel menù.
Primi ottimi per tutti i gusti. Veramente buone le tagliatelle ai funghi.
Secondi idem: tagliata buona e grigliata ottima. Entrambe servite con mostarda deliziosamente piccante. Nella tagliata - a mio parere - potevano evitare di inserirci un würstel (decisamente straniero).
Contorni buoni in particolare le patate con buccia "tocciate" nella mostarda.
Abbiamo poi scoperto che esistevano dei "fuori menù" e la prossima volta li proveremo.
Il conto forse è stato leggermente alto ma bilanciato da un ottimo e cordiale servizio.
L'unica nota non positiva è il parcheggio: se arrivi per tempo puoi parcheggiare a livello del ristorante, ma se arrivi tardi devi parcheggiare in mezzo ad un filare di vite (?) con qualche difficoltà poi per uscire se la macchina è troppo grande.
Consigliato con prenotazione!

Clean, warm in winter and cool in summer, the owner together with his staff are always courteous and helpful, always having a word of comfort without ever being intrusive!

17/11/2024: We booked with The fork. Confirmed the reservation. We arrive there and it's closed, we tried calling before arriving and no one answered.
20/10/2024: A star that couldn't be less. Happened by chance, what can I say... disgusting... three dishes, prices out of line compared to other restaurants. Half burnt lasagna, stewed cuttlefish that looked like vomit. Sorry for the heavy words but I really think it can't get any worse than this. Waiter seemed to have come back from the stable, dirty and what can I say... Absolutely to be avoided, in fact we were unique 🤦♀️.

28/10/2024: Honestly, apart from the location (near Gardaland) and the very pleasant first person at the reception, we didn't find much positive.
The breakfasts are really bad (undrinkable fruit juice, no bread just rusks and sandwich bread, everything is cold to be reheated in the microwave! Bacon eggs etc...). The rooms are certainly spacious but the bedding is hard (you have the impression of sleeping on the floor), the shower doors fall as soon as you handle them, the roller shutter of the children's window does not close, the results are woken up at 6am. The bathroom door does not close and traces of humidity all over the wall of the children's bedroom. In short, avoid it because it is way too expensive for what it is.

You can't see a bathroom without a bidet in Italy.
UNACCEPTABLE.
For the rest, a strategic position and a delightful view of the greenery.

20/12/2024: Tra le dolci colline moreniche ,un borgo mantovano dal l sapore antico ,a pochi chilometri dal lago di Garda si trovano questi ristoranti familiari dove l'accoglienza è squisita.Piatti dal gusto vero ,tra tradizione e rispetto delle materie
Noi abbiamo scelto i fuori menù consigliati ..arrosto allamarone con polenta ,e in ouverture un ' insalata di nervetti. E per concludere una torta pere cioccolato e un semifreddo al torroncino con pistacchi.
Val bene una visita ! Gentilezza ,ottima cucina e familiarità
