08/02/2026: The cold cuts were excellent, the pumpkin tortellini weren't sealed and the corners were cold. The place is a bit chaotic and the fact that they prepare appetizers and desserts at the bar counter, near the cash register, gives me pause. We didn't order meat, having been warned by the delay in preparation... a bit unprepared.
08/02/2026: Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. The cured meats appetizer is good, except for the salami, which I found a bit dry. The pumpkin tortelli are good, although they're very roughly shaped, which means some aren't filled properly. The beef tagliata is sublime, worth every penny, tender and juicy with an overwhelming flavor. I'd go so far as to say it's the best I've ever eaten. The tiramisu was good, although the Pavesini were a little too soggy. The meats are the standouts. The price is definitely above average. More than anything, just cover charge, water, and a 350ml Lambrusco are already €20. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: The location is very quiet, but unfortunately we encountered a great lack of respect from other guests. There was no respect for the silence at night, both in the courtyard and on the stairs. The private bathroom wasn't in the room as I expected, but in the hallway. The plywood beds seemed to crack at the slightest movement.
It's nice, but I'd like to revise a few things.
It's good that there's a kitchen and a full pantry for breakfast, and a large open space with parking.
But I don't know if I'll return.
06/09/2025: Hostel with basic but spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and air conditioning. A fully equipped kitchen is available. Large outdoor spaces with games are available. We stopped for a night with the kids, and we had a great time.

18/08/2025: I've never seen a bar charge a cover charge for a couple of drinks in plastic cups on an empty table with an empty napkin holder. It's absolutely absurd. Avoid it.
18/08/2025: Initial availability for a table. Immediately. Mantuan risotto: plain rice with added meat. Very bland, almost tasteless.
Pumpkin tortelli were good, but... gourmet portions, meaning very little on the plate.
Finally, the thing I don't understand is that I paid €10 for a gin and tonic, when the price list is €8.
Later I realized that it's considered "Premium," as indicated on the price list on another page, but NOT REQUIRED. It's not very professional...
Gin and tonic served in a small plastic "Forst beer" glass.
The same glass we used for two beers for €5 each. Smaller than medium.
There's no small or medium beer.
"Small" Forst glass for everyone.
There's no gin and tonic glass of the right size, even in terms of size. All of this was served without tonic water.
I understand that there's no time due to the large crowd.
Perhaps it would be better not to offer it at all, or to offer it at "different" prices.
I know the restaurant business, and if you can, it's always better to do a little but do it well.

05/01/2025: Arrivati oltre orario per il pranzo, ci viene proposto un tagliere di salumi e formaggi, accettiamo. 2 adulti e 2 bambini. 1 litro d’acqua, vino della casa. Arriva il piatto di affettati (coppa, crudo, salame mantovano e salamino affumicato) con dei formaggi (grana, brie, emmental 😅) della mostarda e della giardiniera. Piatto di dimensioni normali, valido per una coppia, forse. Avendo naturalmente ancora fame, Chiediamo il bis, e poco dopo arriva la stessa portata.
Per chiudere aggiungiamo 2 dolci.
Devo dire che a parte i formaggi tutto il resto era accettabile.
La sorpresa arriva in cassa quando mi presentano il conto di 119€.
22/09/2024: Sconsigliato vivamente..cinghiale in umido ma....era in brodo per la quantità di acqua che conteneva..i primi piatti freddi e crudi uno schifo totale..cambiate mestiere
