20/11/2025: I always eat here for lunch when I'm in Merate. The food is great, fantastic dishes, Lombard cuisine, and everyone is so nice. I highly recommend it! They have the recommended work menu for lunch. 😊👍

12/11/2025: I've been there several times, so I can say the food is good, the atmosphere is clean and quiet, with beautiful wooden tables. The menu follows the calendar and adapts over time. Kudos to the owner! The only flaw is perhaps the somewhat slow service, but otherwise, highly recommended.

08/10/2025: The ice cream is definitely good, and there's plenty of parking, but the location isn't ideal for getting your ice cream right away, as it's close to a busy road. The good thing about it is that it's under a portico and faces north, so it's always in the shade, which is a plus in the summer.

13/09/2025: A place frequented by "snobbish" people, you're in Merate not Milan. I had a cappuccino and a white chocolate brioche, it was inedible, dry and nauseating chocolate practically a block and brioche with puff pastry, probably from days ago..... Hot and watery cappuccino.... not to mention the prices too high for what I offer. Never ever again
06/09/2025: I often go for brunch on Saturdays. The food is always delicious, and they also have salads and excellent cakes. I love their smoothies, and the location is truly welcoming.

18/06/2025: Locale di prestigio, nella piazza centrale, innanzi alla torre castello. Un ambiente dall’ arredo curato, elegante, era da un po' di tempo che non passavamo da quando avevano aperto come ristorazione con menù di classe, piatti ben impiantati e ingredienti di qualità non uscivi senza comprare il pane sfornato da loro. In quei tempi ci siamo stati più volte presenti con amici e famigliari. Questa mattina abbiamo fatto colazione seduti fuori, appena aperto, quando la gente ancora non si vedeva passeggiare…è stato un piacere consumare in questo ambiente, dalle briosce buone. Abbiamo lasciato un saluto a Stefano e famiglia
17/06/2025: One of the few places left that still has honest prices! The atmosphere is not special, but I go there often because I'm sure I'll find a satisfying aperitif every time, good drinks and always smiling waitresses. They also have outside seating but it stays in the shade.
I often end up ordering the burger of the day because they make combos that really make you hungry :)

01/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, this is our second time there and it's consistently delicious!
The polenta and raw sausage appetizer was delicious, and the risotto was plentiful and flavorful.
The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
01/11/2025: A very charming place with an old-world feel. The owner made us feel welcome, offering information and recommendations on food and drinks, and even exchanging a few words with us, making the experience more personal and memorable. We ate very flavorful appetizers and the inevitable risottos, perfectly cooked, very tasty, and you can find some interesting and successful pairings.
A valuable note is the refined selection of quality amaro and grappa.
For the host: for the next round, the risotto with young May 😉

24/08/2025: For breakfast, the place is beautiful and delicious. The pastries and desserts in general are very good (I'd add that their pistachio spread is top-notch). The only flaw is the drinks: they're too expensive for their quality. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it for aperitifs or after-dinner drinks for this reason alone. However, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it is. If they'd lower the drink prices, it would be 5 stars.

02/10/2025: Very good pizza if you opt for a shallow, wide pizza.
The service is self-service, but the staff is very friendly nonetheless.
It's impossible not to find at least one pizza you like; the selection is vast and varies according to the season.
The place has limited seating and is very close together.

20/10/2025: We had lunch for three, seated at a table for two. Discount-store fries, the girl pours us prosecco, and after the third glass, the wine runs out... she pretends not to notice.
The first tagliolini with squid ink arrives, very salty, the plate is left, inedible.
I asked for half a glass of white wine, nothing, they go by the glass or bottle.
I'd heard about a nice place with good food... I definitely won't be returning.
13/10/2025: On Sunday lunchtime, during the FAI Day, I found this little place quite late, and they still accommodated eight of us. Honestly, I have to say that the service was a bit difficult, but not the waitress's fault; let's just say that if there were two of them, perhaps everything would have been quicker and without errors. This doesn't take away all the stars because the good quality food, the desserts even better, and the kindness of the staff absolutely eliminated any inconvenience. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it.
