29/11/2025: Lunch with friends, about 30 people, adults and children. I already knew the place, but it recently changed management. The appetizers were good, and the pizzoccheri weren't up to par with the previous management, but they were very garlicky. The waiters were very kind, helpful, and polite. I'm sorry to give them only one star, but unfortunately, we had serious problems paying: As we usually do, we asked for the bill divided by the number of people, and then everyone would pay their share. Unfortunately, it seems like a very complicated thing. A lady at the register, not particularly polite and with manners unbecoming of a restaurant, told us that we would be disrupting her stock. Honestly, I still don't quite understand what she meant. We even threatened them; they even told us there were cameras... Never happened before; we didn't complain about anything; we just wanted to pay and leave. One way or another, we finally made it; we stayed at the register for an hour.

03/09/2025: You can't see the lake, even with a telescope. It's a hole, and the prices are very high for the quality/price ratio. I'll never eat there again. 3 main courses and half a glass of wine cost €151. They take advantage of foreigners. Thieves.

23/08/2025: We had dinner at your restaurant this evening and were very pleased. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend it!

15/08/2025: Very poor value for money. Food was poor quality and poorly cooked.

22/07/2025: I don't know about the evening, but at lunchtime, hospital-style menu, annoyed and incompetent service, very sad portions, dirty location like a railway after-work club, dulcis in fondo, mascarpone dessert taken out of the freezer, hard as marble, inedible, everything left over, paid anyway, final bill for this disgusting dish; €18, change jobs...

30/10/2025: The room is dated, with slightly old furniture. The bathroom is also a bit dated, and the soaps smell a bit strong. Overall, I have to say it's not bad. The towels and sheets were fresh and clean. There was a tea kettle with cups, tea bags, and sugar. There was also a perfectly working mini-fridge. The double bed was comfortable, and the room was warm, given that it was 40 degrees outside. The price/quality ratio was competitive. There's clearly room for improvement, but you can't have everything in life...

06/09/2025: Location and staff where very good but it's mentioned in the reviews that there is an air conditionier. However the one there is the fixed one beside bed that is compared to a fan .. definitely not an air-conditioner , that striked us at 39 degrees.. As well I dont recommend the food from the restaurant

03/08/2025: BAD management. No comment about the food simply because, despite the email confirmation of our reservation #279023623695 for Sunday, August 3, at 1:00 PM, the restaurant was closed! The girl managing the lido bar apologized and offered us a pizza or some other simple dish there. The worst part was that at 1:27 PM I received an email from Quandoo (the website that handles reservations) with the following content: They informed us that you didn't show up. The website says it's open, so I tried calling for more information, but no response. I won't add anything else! Disappointed and angry, we went looking for a restaurant nearby. And luckily, we found a beautiful place right on the lakeside. COVO NORD OVEST Piazza Garibaldi 24 23864 Malgrate (LC) Nice, good service/food, and good value.
