23/03/2026: Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff. Good appetizers, especially the cheeses. I had polenta with involtini, tasty. They melted in my mouth. The blueberry bitters were fantastic.
22/02/2026: Second time back! We ate deliciously, from appetizer to dessert.
Location with a beautiful view, excellent service, and very kind staff.
Highly recommended for a Sunday lunch.

Refuge Santa Rita

27/12/2025: The Santa Rita Refuge is located at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level, at the Bocchetta della Cazza, which separates the Biandino and Varrone Valleys. Its panoramic location offers a close-up view of Pizzo Tre Signori, making it one of the most picturesque and popular refuges in the Lecco area.
The structure has been renovated and now offers approximately 25 beds and a dining room seating approximately 60, with the option of dining outside on the terrace on nice days. The refuge is equipped with amenities such as hot water, electric lighting, a bar, and a restaurant, and offers traditional dishes and local products.
It can only be reached on foot via various scenic trails: one of the most classic starts from the Biandino or Varrone Valleys and can take several hours to hike, depending on the chosen route. The hike is highly appreciated by experienced hikers for the beauty of the views and the connection with the mountain.
Many reviews describe the refuge as a welcoming and scenic spot, appreciated for its cuisine and hospitality, although—as often happens with mountain refuges—experiences may vary depending on management and current conditions.
The Santa Rita Refuge is an ideal destination for those who love hiking and want to enjoy a memorable natural setting at high altitude.
15/09/2025: A comfortable and welcoming family-run retreat. Excellent traditional local cuisine, especially the delicious homemade desserts. The view of the Biandino and Valvarrone valleys is priceless.

30/03/2025: Ho ordinato delle patatine fritte. Devo dire che eramo immangiabili. Unte, tutte appiccicate, senza sale. Me le sono fatte cambiare. Scortesi. Quelle nuove erano peggio delle prime.
Non ci tornerò.
29/12/2024: Durante la giornata di sci con la famiglia abbiamo optato per questo rifugio, situato in una bella posizione in zona alta delle piste dei Piani di Bobbio, lungo una pista.
Il rifugio è esteticamente bello, con una bella vista sulle vette circostanti.
L'interno è in stile classico, con un bel legno a vista.
Noi approfittando della bella giornata abbiamo mangiato sui tavolini all'esterno.
Abbiamo preso solo panini e ne siamo rimasti soddosfatti: giuste dimensioni ben farciti e a un prezzo giusto (a seconda del tipo tra i 4€ e 5€).
Buono anche il caffè, che aiuta sempre a concludere un be pranzo.
Quindo rifugio certamente consigliato anche per una pausa frugale come la nostra!

19/08/2024: La scorsa settimana il Comune di Introbio ha organizzato una serata molto carina nella via principale del paese dove era possibile fare aperitivo in 3 bar della via. Incredibile, ma il proprietario di questo che secondo me è il locale più carino del borgo era totalmente impreparato per la serata e si è rivelato ancora una volta indisponente e antipatico. Ancora si rimpiange il mitico Michele, precedente gestore che gli ha lasciato un gioiellino in mano, ma costui non è proprio all’altezza.
17/08/2024: barista maleducato, camerieri gentili e sorridenti. Bevande e cibo buono. Ci tornerei solamente se il barista e, credo proprietario, fosse più gentile con la clientela . Il locale invece molto carino.

Rifugio Alpinistico Madonna della Neve

04/10/2024: Ottima esperienza in questo graziosissimo rifugio.
Rifugio raccolto e nolto ben tenuto.
L'attivita è gestita da volontari della missione Mati Grosso.
Il rifugio si trova a metà della Val Biandino, attaccato alla chiesa Madonna delle Neve.
La struttura ha stanze molto ben tenute e con spazi decisamente ampi per un rifugio.
I volontari che abbiamo conosciuto (ultima di agosto) sono stati molto accoglienti e ci hanno fatto respirare un clima famigliare.
Ringrazio chi gestisce e pirra avanti questo rifugio e il loro benemerito progetti di cooperazione
Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque.
