Truly magnificent
18/02/2025: I visited the place for lunch on a Saturday, without booking. The restaurant is well maintained, clean, tidy and, in my opinion, well decorated. Top food, I tasted sloppy, pizzoccheri, tagliatelle with mushrooms and strudel. Attentive and punctual service. Honest prices. Highly recommended, we will return.

03/05/2025: That's all there is to it. Perfect. In the simplicity of the place chosen to welcome customers and of the structure itself, there is a lot of attention and warmth. A place where past and present meet. Marvelous. Workers carry out their roles with passion and concentration... exemplary people in life and in the working environment. I have a serious peanut allergy. We told the waitress and she kindly explained to us the oils they use: olive oil and butter (products that are recommended for those with allergies like mine and for health reasons); furthermore, when I asked for desserts, the waitress wanted to take me with her to show me the ice creams and give me the opportunity to evaluate whether I wanted to try one ice cream or the other (or none) based on the needs that I know to protect myself. No insistence. No superficiality. The food? What they do here is REAL FOOD! Humility, passion, commitment and modesty are all you need to be successful... and what I saw here is an extraordinary demonstration of this! ♥️

15/05/2025: So, excellent quality/price, the quantities are a little scarce. Excellent polenta with rabbit, good braised meat, good cold cuts platter, good ice cream, only the papardele weren't great... We spent 2 €65 for a first course, 2 second courses, 1 liter of wine and 1 liter of water and an ice cream. Beautiful view of the flowery meadow and mountain!

02/04/2025: In una domenica soleggiata, il locale si è riempito velocemente ma noi avevamo prenotato per tempo.
Ci sono molti posti a sedere.
Il servizio è veloce e il cibo proposto buono
Molto soddisfacenti i primi per qualità e quantità, mentre I secondi non ci hanno entusiasmato, soprattutto la tagliata. Magari un'altra volta proveremo qualche altro secondo
Per il nostro bimbo abbiamo trovato un seggiolone e stoviglie adatte

Pizzoccheri e cervo ai mirtilli veramente ottimi, anche tiramisù e crostata ricotta e marmellata di mirtilli da applausi. Prezzi più che onesti. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo.

The Google maps address is correct but you have to park in the village and walk 15-20 minutes in the forest, simple and well signposted route, a little uphill but we met a lot of people, also a lot of families with strollers
The food was excellent! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The chef also comes to see you. It’s a warm, family setting. We feel that we have produced locally and are homemade. If you want something authentic and far from the tourist traps, it’s ideal.
On top of that, the landscapes are magnificent!

We will certainly be back!
30/03/2025: If I could I would leave even less than one star. We found 3 hairs in different dishes and they made excuses, really disappointed by the treatment. We were not even given a small discount to apologize for what happened. We left half of the dishes because of the hairs found

09/08/2024: The food isn't the best and the place is a bit dilapidated but the lady was very kind and prepared food for us even though it was after 2.00pm, a nearby restaurant refused us 15 minutes earlier saying it was late. The location is convenient because it is located at the beginning of the park so coming down from the Belvedere it is at the end of the route. The parking is behind the skyscraper and this place is right under the skyscraper. The prices are not exaggerated but you have to adapt, if you are hungry it's ok

12/11/2024: Ho organizzato in questo rifugio un ritrovo con amici per festeggiare il raggiungimento di un traguardo personale importante; avevo bisogno di supporto per gestire una presentazione e Iris è stata di una gentilezza e disponibilità oltre ogni aspettativa, aiutandomi sia con suggerimenti sia con la “fornitura” dell’hardware necessario. Ci siamo tutti sentiti accolti con partecipazione massima.
Oltre a tutto ciò, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, con cibo di qualità e in un ambiente rinnovato che fa sentire veramente “al rifugio”.

Ci hanno venduto un crodino passandolo per aperol spritz alla modica cifra di 6 euro.
Magari i turisti riuscite a farli fessi. Imbarazzante è inqualificabile il servizio, che di fatto non c’è proprio. Siamo ad un self service

12/08/2024: Chiedo di mangiare un’insalata d’asporto. Mi dicono che è possibile sedendosi al tavolo. Mi siedo e mi dicono che non ci sono insalate. Mi viene consigliato lo spiedino di pollo. Dico va bene. Mi chiedono se voglio qualcosa da bere. Rispondo di no. Mi chiedono se voglio anche delle patatine. Rispondo di no. Mangio UNO spiedino impiattato. UNO. Vado in cassa. 16 euro. Chiedo in che senso. Mi dicono che il menù secondo si paga tutto, anche se non prendo niente. Dico che dovrebbero dirlo prima. Mi dicono che è scritto sul menu. Peccato che io il menù non lo abbia nemmeno visto. Un trattamento da parte dei camerieri veramente assurdo, come se dessi fastidio. Mai più. Capisco perché le persone si portano i panini.

Pizza has worsened considerably, we have gone from a good pizza, preferably with Neapolitan-style dough and even interesting combinations, to the now omnipresent kebab/pizzeria with truly unlikely tastes, ingredients of dubious quality, rubbery mozzarella, super-flat and insignificant pizza. I have been a customer for almost three years, with the new management they lost me at the first pizza. Sin
