18/01/2026: A lovely evening with friends.
The appetizers were top-notch, worthy of a 5-star meal.
Followed by a fried dish that didn't live up to the restaurant's name.
The baked sea bass was okay.
The first courses (served last) were passable, perhaps I'm used to bolder flavors.
Followed by gelato on a bed of fruit that was excellent, and a mini cannolo that was twice as good.
Coffee followed by a jug of amaro to help digest the bill.
17/01/2026: Very satisfied, excellent and plentiful dishes. It's a shame they closed at the end of January 😕
We hope they open again...it's definitely worth it 🏆🏅

12/04/2026: Amazing view, serving only clod plates, the food is not the main reason to go there, only very small cars can make it uphill, or walking in the woods
The staff is very friendly
12/04/2026: Discovered by chance after a hike to the Cenghen waterfall, we ordered a delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses, which was inexpensive. The owner is friendly and helpful. The view is spectacular. I'll definitely be back.

06/04/2026: A very pleasant setting (like a small wine cellar). Refined dishes and a very diverse wine list. The chef is very friendly and attentive. Plus, he speaks excellent French! :) Thank you for the warm welcome.

11/05/2026: I was lucky enough to have lunch with my family at La Meridiana restaurant and we were truly satisfied...
The friendly and helpful staff makes you feel right at home, the dishes are wonderful, and the prices are super fair.
We tried the pizzoccheri, casoncelli, and wild boar with polenta... everything was sublime, dishes that shine through with experience and passion...
A place that warms your heart...
We can't wait to go back!!!

24/05/2026: May 12, 2026. Restaurant near the central parking lot of Piani dei Resinelli. I stopped for lunch after a hike to Grignetta. Good service with traditional food, but mediocre quality. Good cakes, but the price is a bit high for the quality.

28/05/2026: The quality of the food and service was well above average for places of this kind. We ate lunch outside in a pleasant atmosphere, especially for children. On a busy day, there was a fair amount of traffic around, which wasn't a nuisance (except for the noise of the motorcycles).

20/03/2026: Popped in for a quick drink after the hike, staff were some of the friendliest ive met since ive been here and the beer garden has a great view of the mountains
18/02/2026: Amazing pizzoccheri and lasagna, special polenta made with such a unique flour!
Excellent cake and ice cream. Everything is homemade.
Absolutely worth it!

18/05/2026: The coffee and croissant were good, unfortunately there was a long queue for the toilet (one small bathroom for women and men).
26/12/2025: We spent a day in this area, stopping at the Parco Valentino lookout point with a spectacular view. On the way back, we stopped for lunch at this place and had a great time. We ordered two first courses: pizzoccheri and polenta with stew, two beers, and two coffees. The price was fair and the staff were friendly.

02/04/2025: In una domenica soleggiata, il locale si è riempito velocemente ma noi avevamo prenotato per tempo.
Ci sono molti posti a sedere.
Il servizio è veloce e il cibo proposto buono
Molto soddisfacenti i primi per qualità e quantità, mentre I secondi non ci hanno entusiasmato, soprattutto la tagliata. Magari un'altra volta proveremo qualche altro secondo
Per il nostro bimbo abbiamo trovato un seggiolone e stoviglie adatte
31/12/2024: È stata una piacevole esperienza. Personale gentile e veloce, ambiente rustico di montagna e piatti buoni ed abbondanti.
Pizzoccheri e cervo ai mirtilli veramente ottimi, anche tiramisù e crostata ricotta e marmellata di mirtilli da applausi. Prezzi più che onesti. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo.

12/11/2024: Ho organizzato in questo rifugio un ritrovo con amici per festeggiare il raggiungimento di un traguardo personale importante; avevo bisogno di supporto per gestire una presentazione e Iris è stata di una gentilezza e disponibilità oltre ogni aspettativa, aiutandomi sia con suggerimenti sia con la “fornitura” dell’hardware necessario. Ci siamo tutti sentiti accolti con partecipazione massima.
Oltre a tutto ciò, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, con cibo di qualità e in un ambiente rinnovato che fa sentire veramente “al rifugio”.

Ci hanno venduto un crodino passandolo per aperol spritz alla modica cifra di 6 euro.
Magari i turisti riuscite a farli fessi. Imbarazzante è inqualificabile il servizio, che di fatto non c’è proprio. Siamo ad un self service

12/08/2024: Chiedo di mangiare un’insalata d’asporto. Mi dicono che è possibile sedendosi al tavolo. Mi siedo e mi dicono che non ci sono insalate. Mi viene consigliato lo spiedino di pollo. Dico va bene. Mi chiedono se voglio qualcosa da bere. Rispondo di no. Mi chiedono se voglio anche delle patatine. Rispondo di no. Mangio UNO spiedino impiattato. UNO. Vado in cassa. 16 euro. Chiedo in che senso. Mi dicono che il menù secondo si paga tutto, anche se non prendo niente. Dico che dovrebbero dirlo prima. Mi dicono che è scritto sul menu. Peccato che io il menù non lo abbia nemmeno visto. Un trattamento da parte dei camerieri veramente assurdo, come se dessi fastidio. Mai più. Capisco perché le persone si portano i panini.
