12/10/2025: Food and drink was alright but I felt like an inconvenience for just being here. They were more interested in packing other orders around me rather than serving me. They then got my order wrong which is fine but the whole time the attitude was impatience and frustration. They weren't even busy!
Edit: Yes this is a review for the bakery.

15/10/2025: Fabulous family run restaurant in a beautiful setting with stunning views over the lake. This was a 5-7 walk from the hotel where we stayed and was recommended by our hotel receptionist. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. We had the pistachio pasta and lasagne which was amazing. The caramel panacota was really tasty and the house wine was really good as well. Overall really enjoyed our meal.
13/10/2025: Bland pizzas, more dough than toppings...
Annoyed staff...
Terrace closed even though the weather was nice and warm outside...
Very disappointed!!

21/10/2025: Fantastic pizza. But you have to come early (before 7 p.m.) or make a reservation. The locals also love it here. The tiramisu is also extremely delicious. The young waitresses are friendly. The food comes quickly. The Caprese is not recommended.

A very good experience at Pizzeria Lugano. We tried the carbonara and the tagliatelle with shrimp and zucchini, both tasty and well-prepared.
Be careful! While the spiciness depends on each person's palate, the tagliatelle was a little spicier than usual.
Excellent service, fast service, and very friendly staff. The ladies who served us were very kind and spoke English, Spanish, and, of course, Italian. The Hugo cocktail was a pleasant surprise. Although we didn't order dessert because we were satisfied with the pasta, the tiramisu looked very good. Pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. Recommended.

26/09/2025: Clean, small rooms, but beds were hard. Unfortunately we were not given a lake view room. Not really within walking distance from town, no sidewalks to walk into town along the busy road. Off street parking is 10€ per day as are pool towel rental. Room towels are not to be used at the pool. Church next door, has a bell that starts chiming daily at 7 AM.

19/09/2025: This restaurant is highly recommended! While others go for fancy or expensive, this one focuses on quality and authenticity. Make a reservation, though it might work without, depending on your luck. It's definitely worth it.
04/09/2025: We tried to get a table on our first evening without a reservation – there was virtually no chance of getting one, so we immediately made a reservation for the following evening – luckily!
We received a warm welcome, even with a few words of German, which we were very pleased about, as we weren't expecting it. We had prosciutto crudo with melon for starters, and for main courses, we had one lasagna and one ravioli in sage butter with Parmesan – simply delicious. For dessert, I chose the fresh apple pie – it was still warm, a dream. All in all, we had a perfect evening at Il Vapore and can only recommend it to anyone visiting Menaggio.

29/07/2025: La terraza es muy grande con una vista al lago de Como. La comida era buena, especialmente el prosciutto crudo con la burrata. IT fue un poco caro en comparación con los otros restaurantes que hemos visitado en la región.
29/07/2025: Restaurante agradabilíssimo, nos sentamos em uma mesa ao ar livre, embaixo de frondosas árvores, de frente para o Lago. Atendimento e comida muito bons.

17/10/2025: Mauricio was a kind host, very accommodating and friendly. The food was great, atmosphere was very calming & pleasurable. Great location close to the ferry and a great view of the lake! I will go back next time I am in the area.

The waiter, who speaks Spanish, was very friendly and attentive. He gave us recommendations on portion sizes, etc.
The food was delicious.

18/09/2025: A great place to relax. The beach has lovely pools and the option to swim in the lake. Towels and water are included in the price, which makes things even easier. The service is top-notch – polite, helpful, and always smiling. Plus, there's a stunning view and comfortable loungers.

21/09/2025: Yes, the food is good overall; the pizza is the best in Imola. One of the waiters is particularly friendly; the only problem is that sometimes around 10 pm, everyone seems ready to leave, and it can feel awkward to ask for dessert (if you can find a waiter who cares).

10/10/2025: We thought it might be a tourist trap cost wise due to the lakefront views but it really wasn’t significantly different than anywhere else. Barbara did a great job making drinks. The food was very tasty and decent portion sizes on the main courses filled us up after a long day of travel.
24/09/2025: The chef here offers a diverse menu – from italian classics with an original twist to refined seasonal dishes. The food comes in a classy presentation (deer/roe as secondi), sometimes with surprising yet tasteful combinations (uovo/taleggio 68⁰ as antipasto), most desserts are to die for (fig/ricotta tarte). Overall we were again truly delighted during our last visit in sept. '25. Quality (freshness of ingredients, preparation, originality) has reached new highs it seems. Our congratulations to the chef afterwards were sincere! (I also recommend : tartar of fassone meat, gnocchetti, ravioli, tiramisù). The service here is rapid, but not too, and always effective and friendly. View across the lake is sumptuous.

27/08/2025: Passion spritz is incredibly refreshing and not an option I've seen yet on the lake. Staff are very welcoming and polite. Outside area is nice but wasn't fond of the smoking. Very laid back atmosphere. Would have been perfect without the smoke.

19/07/2025: L'accueil est gentil mais ni le lieu ni les plats ne méritent vraiment le déplacement. Des pizzas et quelques plats sans grande saveur sur une terrasse sans vue sur le lac.
Grande déception compte tenu des avis.

CATASTROPHE !!
- les serveurs ne voient rien, j’ai dû appeler à plusieurs reprises pour qu’on vienne prendre ma commande.
- les pâtes étaient basiques mais pas de fromage ou un morceau de pain pour accompagner les plats.
- les spritz étaient à moitié remplis et à mon avis coupés de moitié à l’eau
L’attrape touriste dans sa splendeur, dommage car le cadre est super
03/08/2025: Due pizze surgelate …. Un panino da 7 euro scongelato con due 1 fette di crudo e 1 di formaggio . Da italiano direi scandaloso far pagare 7euro un panino con dentro niente . Va bene che entrano i turisti stranieri e da italiani dobbiamo approfittarci !! A quei prezzi si può fare cibo di qualità e anche gli stranieri sarebbero più contenti di tornarci
