11/05/2025: 3 euros for a scoop of disgusting ice cream. Let's call it a sugar ball with a diameter of about 2cm. Obviously if the reviews are made by tourists the average is high. But as a true Italian knowing the specialties of our beautiful country we cannot call it "artisanal ice cream" as written on their table. Conclusion, I advise you not to go to this place

10/05/2025: Cozy nice little coffee with outdoor area in the heart of Menaggio. Friendly staff with quick service. Delicious cappuccino, super tasty sweets and pastries like hardly anywhere else... An absolute recommendation. Always happy to come back

Ubicación perfecta - un poco escondido pero muy pintoresco. El valor bien vale la pena! Haga reservas con antelación. Hay un pequeño tiempo de espera, ya que creo que su hijo era el chef y su madre era la anfitriona, así que tenga paciencia

20/05/2025: Very polite stuff, above all the food is true Italian, with big portion, they care about customers. They prepare for our 1 year old son who is allergic on milk big portion of spaghetti with tomato, usually for kids prepare with less. All pasta are delicious and pizza looks tasty. We will come again

18/05/2025: Couldnt get any ferry tickets to Bellagio on a busy Sunday, so instead we took a bus from Como to Menaggio! Arrived at the bus stop and Tato is just 50m beside it, Perfect view from the restaurant, Orderd Calamari, crispy and fresh light battered, with garlic aioli cream for a great start. Next the Linguine alle Vongole is absolutely scrumptious, a beautifully emulsified sea aroma clam sauce with parsley and lots of clam! Enjoyed it with their moscasto and it is delizioso!

16/05/2025: We had a wonderful time in the restaurant. I had the gluten free pizza Romana, my girlfriend the normal Romana. She said there was nearly no difference between them, with them being both great! They used a different oven for the gluten free pizza, I had no stomach issues. I can recommend Tato an will definitely come again :)

27/05/2025: This is a wonderful restaurant on the water with beautiful views. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. All 5 of us had superb meals, so tasty and good sized meals.

25/05/2025: The steak was not palatable: it was tough, gristly, and unfortunately poorly seasoned. The atmosphere was splendid, and the cannoli was delicious.

17/05/2025: Regulars in the dining room or takeaway. I don't know what happened but lately everything seems to have gotten a bit worse. I don't blame the service because if an employee works without pushing maybe he has reasons that don't depend on him, it's a shame they put their face on it. The chaos and the rudeness of the children is someone else's responsibility, the play area also leads to this even if the idea is nice. However, lately the pizza seems different to me, it was better a few years ago, also unfortunately we had one that literally dripped like three spoons of oil. It's hard to eat it like this, having spent money and being satisfied. The atmosphere has changed a lot, you can feel it. I feel sorry for them.

17/05/2025: The staff is helpful and professional, we ate the pizzas but we reserve the right to try the fish. Excellent anyway both in terms of dough and size. The only flaw, a little outside space to enjoy the nice days... we could organize ourselves....

19/05/2025: Very pleasant welcome. Very friendly staff who made the effort to understand us. Good food and surprising pizzas. Magnificent location with a breathtaking view of the lake. A must-see.

16/05/2025: Good place for an relaxing drink and snacks. Pizza is great. Stunning view of lake Como and the sunset over the mountains. We had a great time!

01/06/2025: Every server, manager, and chef in this place needs to be fired. Wow. I’ve never had an experience like this before. 2 people around us left within 10 mins due to the lack of service and the menu. Another sent food back. We order a beer and a spritz. Never got the spritz. The steak was 4 mediocre pieces of sirloin. I’d maybe pay the 10 euro cover charge to order a beer and enjoy the view and that’s it.

01/06/2025: I was there a few years ago in October and I remember it fondly! The owners are very friendly and helpful. The tiramisu and the view over the lake are world-class 😊 The furnishings are certainly a bit dated, but it's clean and you feel comfortable!

30/05/2025: Really clean room and friendly staff. Quiet location but walking to the beach is a good exercise.
