30/07/2024: Super accueil, staff aux petits soins, bon repas, belle vue... La serveuse nous a dégoté la dernière table de libre et n'a cessé de faire son maximum pour que chaque client ait un coin agréable / un service souriant
Je recommande sans hésiter.
23/07/2024: We zijn vanuit centrum Menaggio naar boven gelopen, ruim 1 kilometer, klimmetje naar boven. Goed wandelpad.
Goed ontvangst bij het restaurant.
Bordje met ham/kaasjes en n heerlijke pizza’s gegeten. Huiswijn was ook prima.
We hadden een tafeltje met mooi uitzicht.
Bediening was top dus al met al een fijne avond.

31/08/2024: Plenty of parking, easy to find, helpful staff, my celiac niece, they were very attentive, good raw materials, suitable for those with children as there is a space reserved for them
24/08/2024: Firstly a beautiful setting overlooking the lake . Great ambience. Staff are exceptional and very attentive . Our compline to go to the female server who had her hair done in a plait and spike as I said to her , the most perfect English ( in a very posh accent , ha! )
Along with her colleagues , great service . Thank you ! Food was delicious , well presented too . The fig cheesecake was exceptional . Also the lamb and beef steak .
It was so good we went back for lunch where they have a lighter menu plus the A la Carte , again very good .

27/08/2024: Very beautiful restaurant with a nice view. We ate around 11:30 and we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was super nice, the service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable!

22/08/2024: Good and friendly service, but the food is just not right. It does not serve the expectations of how they represent theirselves and how the prices are set. The ravioli were covered with three different sauces. Overall, a layer of thick sepia sauce was put on many dishes, such as the squid. Also, you can find their mayonaise kind of sauce on most dishes. Here, less is more in my opinion. The octopus was a bit on the chewy side. The prices might indicate haute cuisine, but it is not.
08/08/2024: We had dinner here during a weekend, well-made food, like at home with quality raw materials, professional and fast service, with friendliness and advice, good.
Accompanied by a good bottle of rosé wine.
We will definitely return when we are in the area.

The dishes are good and fresh, we ate there twice, the friendly service and the cocktails are good :)

The owner is a delightful woman who took some time and helped us to understand our new environment on our 2nd day in Italy, as English is her first language, and our only language!😆 We returned for morning coffee each day of our stay in Menaggio. Looked busy at lunch as well.

AND VERY HAPPY TO HAVE MET AN OLD BUT VERY GOOD BUS DRIVER IN THE LOCATION WHO I HAD NOT SEEN FOR YEARS....THE MYTHICAL FLECCHIA/FRECCHIA??

22/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo un antipasto della casa con salumi di cervo, cinghiale e asino buonissimi, accompagnati da una giardiniera supersonica. Gli sciatt erano favolosi, come i pizzoccheri. Per i più pignoli i pizzoccheri che fanno sono con poco burro ma tanta verza e patate, spettacolari. Vino della casa direi buono. Super consigliabile.

The waiters reply to the question why he served us a bread basked with a half eaten pizza slice in it: -Is that a problem for you?
We ordered a bottle of white wine, wich was followed by a napkin drowned in red wine..
We are happy to be out of the place and find us self praying not to wake up at the hospital.
01/05/2024: This restaurant is always the first we head for when we arrive in Menaggio. The food is fantastic and the service too. It gets very busy, but that's a sign that they are doing something right. My wife had the sliced grilled beef with parmesan and rocket salad. It was delicious. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the combination of steak, parmesan and rocket worked beautifully. I had the cotoletta - fried breaded veal. Again it was delicious, perfectly cooked and the portion was very big. We did manage to fit in a pudding of homemade Rhum baba which, again, was fantastic. I can't fault this restaurant. The wine list is extensive, surroundings warm and atmospheric. If you're looking for a real Italian family restaurant this is it. Highly recommended.
