04/04/2026: Beautiful spot. Honestly one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to. Wish they had a bit more on the menu but the meat and cheese board was still nice.
02/04/2026: We were seated in the underground wine cellar stone walls, old barrels, candlelight. One of the most atmospheric dining rooms I’ve ever been in. The food matched the setting. Smoked salmon rose to start, then two pastas: spaghetti with caviar in a silky cream sauce, and paccheri in pistachio cream with cured meat. Both were outstanding. Dessert was a pistachio dome and the best tiramisu I’ve had in a long time. The two brothers running the front of house made the whole evening. Warm, genuine, no performance just real hospitality.
If you’re near Lake Como, ask to sit in the cellar. You won’t forget it.

07/04/2026: Restaurant by the water. Very friendly service. Michèle was lovely. The children's meal of pasta with tomatoes was divine. We discovered the Pinsa, which were excellent.
09/02/2026: Amazing service, wonderful room, everything spotlessly clean, unique view..you could hear the waves crashing below the balcony..so impeccable, not even 5 stars..really impressive..we spent almost two days there as it was a stopover we made before Venice..we liked Mauricio a lot, so friendly..Unique experience..prefer it and you won't miss it..also excellent food in the restaurant..August 2025..

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. Aside from the very long wait and the fact that the food didn't arrive at the table at the same time, the service – especially from one particular server – was truly disappointing. We were argued with, and the tone quickly became unfriendly and rude, making us feel completely unwelcome.
On the positive side, I must say the pistachio pasta was actually very, very delicious.
However, the overall experience at Stonehouse was so negative that it has stayed with me for months, and I only now feel the need to write a review. The criticism we voiced on-site was unfortunately not handled well at all.
As a constructive suggestion for the future, we would like to point out: a little more customer friendliness and service orientation. Especially in the restaurant industry, friendliness and respectful treatment of guests are invaluable. And no, it had absolutely nothing to do with the seating; that was perfectly fine.

08/04/2026: We have nothing but praise for the Management, Staff and facilities of Hotel Aurora. We, as a family, were celebrating a series of birthdays and other notable events this year and chose this Hotel, on the basis of the website and initial conversations with Reception. It turned out to be everything we could have hoped for and as is obvious from our ratings above, we recommend it highly. We would mention in particular that Jonathan (Hotel Manager) and Christina (Reception) could not have been more welcoming and accommodating in respect of our needs and requests, but all the staff were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. We were really sad when we left the Hotel Aurora and would, without hesitation, recommend it and if we return to Lake Como, it'll be our destination of choice.
07/04/2026: I stayed for a couple of nights at Hotel Villa Aurora in Lezzeno, and the experience definitely exceeded
expectations.
The welcome was warm and attentive.
The room assigned to me (a junior suite with a lake view) is recently renovated and tastefully furnished. The atmosphere is welcoming, impeccably clean, and the amenities are top-notch. The real highlight, however, is the lake view: simply stunning, making every awakening a special moment. Not to mention the
acoustic comfort, zero noise.
The breakfast was top-notch: rich, varied, and made with excellent quality products. From sweet to savory, every offering was thoughtfully prepared and inviting, even offering a selection of butter and the option of making your own juice.
A memorable stay that I recommend without hesitation.

04/11/2025: This review covers the hotel and restaurant.
As for the hotel, everything was great. They were very accommodating with many of our special requests. The view and staff are fantastic. I can only say I recommend it.
As for the restaurants, we tried many of the options there and everything was delicious, so I can recommend it as well.
20/10/2025: A terrible experience. I'm reluctant to leave a review like that, but I don't like being made fun of.
More than an hour's wait for a pizza in a room with less than 10 people.
After a couple of requests, a further wait, and an unexpected mockery from a waitress who was probably new to the experience, a prepackaged and raw pizza arrived.
We got up and left, paying only for drinks and a cover charge. (And it really takes a lot for me to do something like that.)
Maybe this will help the restaurant manager understand that they can definitely do better.
Luckily, a little further on, we found a decent restaurant.

05/07/2025: Excellent restaurant, à un prix raisonnable avec une vue imprenable sur le lac de Côme. Personnel agréable, souriant et sympathique. Tous les plats de l’entrée au dessert sont exceptionnels.
21/06/2025: Stasera ho vissuto un’esperienza veramente spiacevole.
Ho prenotato, per far piacere a degli amici che tenevano a mangiare con vista lago.
Sono entrata con il mio compagno e il mio cagnolino, un Maltipoo di due mesi - 25 cm di lunghezza- chiuso nel suo trasportino.
Si avvicina il proprietario che all’inizio non si era nemmeno accorto della sua presenza e con tono scortese mi dice che i cani non sono ammessi.
Premetto che il divieto di ingresso ai cani non è segnalato ne’ sul sito, né sulla porta di ingresso.
Faccio presente di non essere stata avvertita di questo divieto e il proprietario in tono ancora più scortese mi dice che lui non può chiedere ad ogni prenotazione se un cliente ha esigenze particolari, citando oltre ai cani, le persone celiache o con intolleranze.
Veramente poco professionale soprattutto in un ristorante che si vanta di portare avanti una tradizione storica.
Il cibo normalmente gradevole mi è rimasto sullo stomaco.

Inutile dire che non ci vedranno MAI più!

12/04/2025: Per raggiungerlo, una passeggiata di una 20ina di minuti, ma non era stato specificato che sarebbero stati tutti in salita! Ma ne valeva la pena senza dubbio. Solo polenta , ma declinata in tantissimi modi. Ottima con le uova!!! Prezzi ragionevolissimi. Ottima la crostata

Da subito ci si accorge che il posto punta tutto a fare una grande quantità di posti a sedere e ne fa le spese la qualità
Portate molto scarse e da bergamasco la polenta uncia era ingiudocabile
Una squintlaata di polenta con burro fuso in superficie, immangiabile
Dolci manco a parlarne
E l'ospitalità appena accennata
