18/09/2025: In search of the best ice cream parlor in Domaso, I landed here – and what can I say: a direct hit!
An Italian puppeteer once told me that the best ice cream is always hidden in silver ice barrels, "well chilled like on a glacier," and not under a mountain of cookie crumbs and sweets. That's exactly what it was here – pure, creamy, divine.
Our recommendation: Strawberry yogurt. A taste like a mini-vacation in the Alps, but without the cold feet.
The saleswoman? So welcoming that you could almost forget you're actually there for the ice cream. And the shop itself: beautifully decorated, so that as soon as you walk in, you think: "I'm going to stick around here."
If you don't try ice cream here in Domaso, you're missing out on the dolce vita.
14/09/2025: The ice cream is great 👍. 3 scoops for €4. Very tasty. We went there almost every day. The selection is plentiful, with about 20 flavors.

Lake-view room with every comfort, everything you could need.
Restaurant: Chef Marta is stellar, offering unique dishes or traditional revisited dishes with added spices, sauces, or ricotta with starfish.
A dinner I will remember for a long time.

30/01/2026: If you don't offer free drinks to certain Germans, you'll get one-star reviews..!! 🤮 Someone even wrote that their daughter was hospitalized after eating here.. ..but she was hospitalized for using badly cut cocaine bought in Dongo along with 6 other people that night..!!! How do I know? I was a nurse at the hospital..!! 😛 People are really weird.. 🤦 Good (..not overly good..) pizza.
16/12/2025: We had a delicious meal, and the service was attentive. Our dog was immediately given a water bowl. The pizzas are really tasty. The dessert menu was also appealing.
This is a great place to eat while on vacation.

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished.
The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere.
This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more!
We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

16/10/2025: Really bad food. Overpriced and couldn't pay by card - only found out after we had eaten. Awful service that took our plates before we had finished. To date the worst experience in beautiful Italy. We will NOT be back.
15/10/2025: The tomme alla griglia was burnt on top, the lettuce was wilted and there was very little of it.
Friendliness is a foreign word there.
The owner's comment on the phone was very disrespectful to tourists.
We recommend giving it a wide berth!

10/07/2025: Einfach immer herzlich und toll. Für Familien sehr angenehm und „preisangepasst“. Auch offen für glutenfreies Essen…
Großzügig im Nachschenken und freundlichst im Service. Dazu gutes heimisches Essen.
Für Gäste wie uns, die jährlich kommen, wäre vielleicht ein Alternativ Abend (was das Menü angeht) sehr schön.
