15/05/2026: Trattoria Belotti is a truly delightful little place. I had a truly wonderful time (and ate there). The service was friendly and welcoming, even though I arrived at 1:50 PM (when kitchens tend to close). I was in Brescia, and since I was a little late before returning to Reggio, I thought I'd stop somewhere to finally try the "casoncelli," which I'd been wanting to try for a long time but never had the chance. Even standing in front of the restaurant, you can sense how much attention has been paid to everything. The interior is meticulously designed down to the smallest detail. I had lunch next to the fireplace (and that's all I've said). The very kind lady who served me each dish asked if everything was okay and to my liking. Truly kind. Thank you. 🫶 I had a good appetizer of cured meats and a first course, the "casoncelli." I was offered two options: casoncelli stuffed with meat or casoncelli stuffed with bagòss (a typical local cheese). I had the meat ones topped with butter and sage. Truly excellent. I finished with a Baileys parfait, torn between the many dessert options (all homemade...it was hard to decide). Delicious 👍 I thank the staff for their hospitality and kindness. I highly recommend it. I think I'll definitely be back with my family. See you soon ☺️

10/05/2026: We went to this restaurant for my nephew's confirmation. What a wonderful place! The outside is large, well-maintained, well-organized, and especially enjoyable for children! The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable and extremely friendly. I highly recommend it!

29/04/2026: An experience that was nothing short of shocking... Let me start by saying that we are acquaintances and live in the same town.... I should start by saying that we have had lunch at this restaurant on several occasions for baptisms and confirmations... (at my son's baptism the cake had his name spelled wrong...). The food is carefully prepared and of high quality, the location is pleasant and well-kept... what was not at all pleasant on Sunday at my in-laws' sixtieth wedding anniversary was the rudeness with which we were treated by the owner... the cake ordered weeks before was not served because we were told that the pastry chef tripped on the carpet while delivering it and the cake fell (a truly ridiculous comic book excuse). A cake without writing was served instead, different from the one chosen, heated in the microwave but still frozen inside and with a truly unpleasant taste... in addition to the embarrassment with the guests, the disappointment of my in-laws who paid a high amount and had this very unpleasant surprise... finally, when my husband dared to point out the fact, he was also insulted by the owner who called him an unmalleable person saying that he could not do anything about what happened... I am truly sorry and disgusted because what was supposed to be a party turned into a very unpleasant day... in addition to paying a lot of money to have We received a ridiculous cake that was reheated and different from the one we had previously ordered. Instead of a humble apology, the owner even insulted us. This is unacceptable behavior. I wonder how anyone can get to this point without feeling even a little guilty about treating the people who bring you money with such arrogance, rudeness, and inadequacy, despite the obvious and obvious mistake. If you are no longer capable or have the patience to interact with people, you should step back and leave. For me, this restaurant will always remain a bad memory.

The beef in oil is exceptional, a local specialty, but this one is absolutely amazing. Sincere compliments.

28/03/2026: A bit disappointed... because we'd heard good things about it... we went for lunch on a Sunday... long waits... okay, it's Sunday... 40 minutes to order and the same to eat, everything's fine, but then we were told one dish wasn't available... and so another wait... It must have been a bad Sunday... but we left hungry! What a shame.
