It's a place from another era. It's about 125 years old. The descendants are extremely proud of their passion and tenacity, successfully passing down the culinary secrets of their ancestors. This fifth generation of restaurateurs—by vocation—has kept traditions intact, and that alone does them credit. Time seems to have stood still; the intense aromas, without unnecessary frills or experimentation, seem to speak of a world apart that neither wants nor should disappear. Reviewing this close-knit "family" that works to great effect is always a great pleasure. It's located in a secluded part of town, surrounded by thick vegetation. The perimeter garden is delightful, with colorful flowers and a dozen or so cages, each containing delightful canaries—singing, but NOT ANNOYING, on the contrary... To the side, the dining area, not huge, but appropriate for the type of restaurant. The owners are absolutely jovial, but not intrusive. The atmosphere is vibrant and dynamic. The kitchen is staffed by the latest, young generation, the sixth. The owners' children, young men who aren't afraid of hard work and who accept compliments with a sincere, lively smile. The service, despite us being extremely late, wasn't rushed—quite the opposite! The dishes are a symbol of authenticity, reminiscent of the expert hands and refined palates of grandmothers dedicated to cooking. Casoncelli with butter and sage, their candy-like shape is a nod to Bergamo tradition. The butter is definitely NOT from the supermarket. (Scotching it with white butter is a must!!). Indulgent, indulgent, and exquisite. Equally worthy are the reginette with wild boar ragù, where the gameiness was completely absent. A concentration of strong flavors that will satisfy even the most discerning palates. The beef in oil was very generous: the sauce was well-balanced, and the meat, with just the right amount of fat, could be cut with a fork. The baked potatoes were well-cooked, with an excellent consistency, perhaps a little too salty. Now for the stew, a dish that's not easy to make. There are very few trattorias left in the Brescia area that prepare it so well. The meat was perfectly cooked and had a bold flavor. The white wine by the glass was decent. Unfortunately, due to our rush, we couldn't try the desserts, but we'll definitely be back. Simplicity wins, and you can relive times gone by with all your senses. A very important note: they welcomed our two dogs, which is why I recommend this place to all dog-loving tourists. Go and...you'll come back; and every time you leave the trattoria more than full and with a happy heart. I'd also like to point out the charming village of Maglio nearby, and the beautiful Monticelli waterfalls just a few kilometers away.

We loved this traditional Brescia cuisine with its homemade charcuterie and house wine by the pitcher. Historic restaurant in the heart of Franciacorta. Rustic and family atmosphere. Wheelchair accessible. Private parking. The inner courtyard welcomes you with the sounds of canaries.

The outdoor space is lovely, where you can enjoy some cool air in the summer. The cuisine is traditional but delicious, featuring local ingredients like homemade pasta, homemade salami, and more. The house wine is good, and the service is very friendly, and it's not expensive either. Nice place.

Hi, I was there today, May 31st. The food was good. Nice place. The pasta was good and the stew was good, but it fell apart. The panna cotta was good. The staff was friendly. We'll be back again. 9/10. Loredana
