16/05/2024: The restaurant opened on time, we stopped on the way from Brescia nad Iseo around 12:05, 2-course dinner, appetizer, water and coffee for €18, very nice atmosphere, great service. The food was also delicious and beautifully presented, a top-class restaurant! We managed to communicate in English without any problems - I highly recommend it!

15/05/2024: unfortunately not a good experience at my son's confirmation! the waiter, agitated as ever, almost threw the food on your plate. the rice was overcooked. they made a mistake and made the cake too small, they forgot to bring the sparkling wine for the desserts! when I mentioned this to the owner the answer was... yes the cake was wrong but we brought an extra scoop of ice cream!!!! I didn't answer out of politeness but honestly if I order a cake and you bring me a scoop of ice cream you'll make a better impression by not saying anything! Was it enough to bring the dessert trolley? morality gave me 20 euros discount on a 600 bill! I would say an experience that I will NEVER repeat!

16/06/2024: Siamo tornati in questa trattoria dopo qualche anno... e leggendo le recenti recensioni negative ci chiedevamo se fosse cambiata la gestione! Invece tutto è come è sempre stato... una trattoria familiare molto alla buona, ma con personale gentilissimo e CUCINA TIPICA BRESCIANA ottima: salumi nostrani, formaggio di malga, casoncelli di Longhena buonissimi e grigliata super! Acqua e BUON vino a volontà! Siamo del parere che le valutazioni vadano fatte per categoria... il Maghèr non è un ristorante stellato ma una genuina trattoria storica di Gussago, ed in quanto tale va considerata!

04/07/2024: Working lunch. Upon arrival we were given the menu which we immediately understood to be very dirty by touch (everyone touches the menus and must be cleaned! ). We order, food without great pretensions...restaurant prices. We are then abandoned at the table and have to go and look for the staff several times without finding anyone to get the coffee quickly and then return to work. We had already been there last year as soon as management changed but the second chance was disappointing. We won't be returning.
