31/03/2024: Started very well, service was excellent and the aperitivo was as you’d expect from a Michelin star restaurant. After our drinks the waiter came over and knelt down next to me and asked us to keep our voices down. This not only broke the good vibe of the restaurant but made us then feel incredibly uncomfortable for the next 7 courses of our meal. As a place where you go for a special occasion I was quite surprised a waiter would make this comment. I was also quite confused as we weren’t speaking loud at all. The food was okay but nothing was really wow. So would say worth a visit but be careful of raising your voice at the risk of offending the waiter.

04/04/2024: Very nice restaurant in a side street on the promenade. Food was very good. I had the Carbonare which was perfectly al dente, my mother had a Pizza Buffalina. The tomato sauce would be very prominent in this one. The ambience and the staff are top. The only drawback is that the glass of wine (whether red or white) is unfortunately only a sip and therefore very expensive at €8. I would always recommend ordering a bottle here. Makes the evening fun too ;)

03/04/2024: Wonderful, great rooms that have been lovingly renovated in the attic (all 4). Climbing stairs is popular and you should be somewhat fit. The restaurant area is also beautifully designed! The only negative thing was always finding a parking space close to the accommodation. The food was also a bit disappointing; it could have been seasoned more, etc. can, it was good but not nearly as great as it is advertised on the internet through photos etc.
31/03/2024: Warm and welcoming place, with trained and friendly staff. They placed us at a very spacious table, in a quiet room. The Easter lunch is exceptional, with quality raw materials, cooked with great care. Each course was tasty, with attention to form and substance. We will definitely be back to try what the menu offers. Excellent value for money.

16/03/2024: We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We had a room with a partial lake view and a small balcony (everything else was already fully booked). The rooms with a partial lake view are not as modern as the others. Very clean everything. The bathroom was rather basic but OK. The drawback was that an unpleasant sewer smell came from the drains in the bathroom. You could always smell that. We plugged the drains with paper and it worked. And the laminate floor in the room was clearly damaged in some places.
The friendliness of the employees and the cleanliness of the hotel were top! Good food, good breakfast, great service and a perfect location right on the lake, from which you can also start trips across Lake Garda directly by ferry. In Gardone itself there are a few shops and nice places that you should try. Overall, a successful stay there. We felt good.
13/03/2024: I think September is the wonderful month to visit these places. Hotel Du Lac allowed my wife and me to spend 3 days in complete relaxation, giving me an excellent breakfast and a room with a lake view with all the comforts necessary for the success of my mini holiday. Thanks I hope to be back soon. 👋

21/03/2024: We had lunch in this place a few meters from the large car park near the Heller Garden. The pizza was good, the staff were friendly, the view of the greenery was beautiful and the prices were normal.

28/04/2024: Rude waiter who accuses us of having sat down and that they were full when in reality the colleague had made us sit down. despite the empty tables both inside and outside, they close the restaurant and do not allow entry. But they immediately seat people dressed in designer clothes. Pitiful portions for the price. Never again. If you are rich maybe they treat you well…
01/04/2024: After visiting the victoral we stopped for dinner. Good food, excellent starter, main course could be improved, good desserts. The staff is welcoming and attentive to customer needs. Advised!

29/03/2024: If you come to the small town of Gardone Riviera you need to book a table here!! The food is another level of quality, flavor, rich. I cant explain how delicious it was, everything taste different and unique.
The service extraordinary, the explain you every plate in detail.
Also the invite you for free to taste some snacks and a desert!!
More expensive than other restaurants but totally worth it!!
Is better to book a table also if you if you want to come for dinner, at lunch you may be lucky.

29/02/2024: 1 star too much... once we sat down we started reading the reviews and hoped that all the negative comments weren't 100% true... but no one is wrong! The food is inedible, not to mention how we felt afterwards. DIRTY, RUDE, FROZEN/REHEATED/RAW FOOD (and they also say that they catch the fish in the lake and that all the vegetables are fresh!!!) Truly never again... and don't go there either.
26/02/2024: You leave the Vittoriale hungry, it's 1.30pm, you see a trattoria-pizzeria right in front, what's up, don't you go in?
Tourist menu offered for 17.50 euros, written in large format. In reality you then discover that you pay the cover charge separately, all drinks are excluded, even water, and in the end, if you are satisfied with the latter and don't indulge in wine or soft drinks, it becomes 25.
While you wait for them to come and take your order, you see dishes of casoncelli being served at the nearby table, beautiful, abundant, steaming, and you decide: I want them. Yours arrive in 10 min. afterwards, half of those you saw in the dishes described previously, barely lukewarm (probably the leftover from the aforementioned batch).
For the second course I had a mix of grilled meat: the salamella was good but really small, a lamb chop, always good if you like it (and not everyone does) and a pork chop full of bone splinters (cut really badly !).
Excellent coffee! All the condiments (including the grated cheese) are in single-dose sachets, almost like those of a company canteen.
