23/02/2025: A gastronomic journey without rules or preconceptions
The dinner was an experience outside the box, with a tasting menu that was able to amaze with its technique, unusual combinations and great attention to the quality of the ingredients. Each dish told a story, playing with consistencies, temperatures and bold flavours.
Fennel and dehydrated olive mousse
A delicate but intriguing start, with the sweetness of the fennel intertwined with the intense flavour of the olives. A small appetizer that immediately made the kitchen's approach clear: elegance and well-calibrated contrasts.
Raw-but-cooked Prussian Beef, mushrooms, whey garum, Korean mint
One of the most interesting dishes of the evening. The meat, tender and tasty, harmonized perfectly with the mushrooms and the garum, which added a strong umami note. The Korean mint gave a touch of freshness, balancing everything out. The game between raw and cooked was well done, without forcing.
Risotto “al contrario”, purple prawns, candied lemon and lettuce
A risotto impeccable for its creaminess and balance of flavors. The sweetness of the purple prawns married perfectly with the candied lemon, which gave a pleasantly citrusy contrast, without ever being excessive. The lettuce added a delicate herbaceous note, making the dish even more refined.
The experience was overall extremely positive, with a tasting journey that was able to surprise and conquer. A menu designed for those who love to be amazed without preconceptions, with a cuisine that dares and manages to do so with elegance.
08/02/2025: We tried two menus with the most traditional dishes of the Due Colombe, all courses were served and explained impeccably. We didn't like all the combinations equally, but we can't argue with the quality of the products.
The pumpkin entree is excellent, the purple potato with prawn is fabulous and the Milano bagoss parcels are an explosion of flavour. The wine pairings offered are also interesting. A valuable experience!

31/01/2025: One of my favorite restaurants in Franciacorta (and beyond). Quality of dishes, service, location and wines of the highest level. I have had the opportunity to try several starred restaurants in recent years and I can confidently say that Vivilo Ristorante has nothing to envy them (indeed...). Despite the distance, a fixed stop at least once a year. Until next time!
30/01/2025: The location is crazy, the food is very well prepared even if not all the dishes tasted had the wow effect as expected and the reviews read. Space desserts. The service in the room was excellent, except for the reception and the bill, which could be improved. An important flaw, which compromised the experience, was the table assignment. Reservation made on Friday late afternoon for dinner the same evening... it is not acceptable that in an environment that wants to be TOP they assign a table in the passage and next to the service cabinet to the waiters... We elegantly accepted the table anyway, even if it was to be rejected. The worst thing is that once communicated at the end of the dinner the representatives simply apologized saying that they too maintain that that table is no good... Having said this the minimum that is expected from a place that wants to be TOP and I repeat myself , the offer of something, dessert from the bill or something to drink, which we probably would have refused. Only out of kindness and pampering the customer, certainly not for savings, by choosing VIVILO there can be no surprises in the bill.
Customer care must be part of the desired stars.

05/02/2025: Excessive price for the few things we ate, food that tasted like nothing. What can I say, I strongly advise against it, from a restaurant you expect quality and prices that are at least average. We won't go back again.
02/02/2025: I do not recommend. Prices too high for a restaurant, 15 euro fixed price on first courses which aren't even exceptional. We had a starter and two first courses, I ate my first course together with my boyfriend's starter and then he ate the first course alone... the service leaves something to be desired. There is a pizza oven but they don't make pizzas. Little choice on the menu.

Cena da 50 euro : antipasti composti dai classici affettati,da misticanza... pasticcio di patate e porri servito con difficoltà, fagioli con salsiccia sbriciolata e le solite frittatine..
Riso crudo e croccante mantecato con la panna...ravioli asciutti e senza condimento...
Il secondo arrosto con patate non sbucciate...
Dolce.
Caffè servito senza chiedere come lo si gradiva
E infine il top del pessimo i liquore servito nei bicchieri dell'acqua!!!!
Alla richiesta di un bicchiere adeguato mi è stato portato un bicchiere bollente appena uscito dalla lavastoviglie...

29/10/2024: Premetto che in questa vicenda la qualità del locale in termini di cibo e bevande c'entra poco, quello che mi ha colpito di più è la scarsa empatia mostrata di fronte ad un evento del genere.
Ero ad un matrimonio 3 settimane fa e, per puro caso, sono andato a prendere un medicinale in auto per un mio amico che non stava troppo bene. Arrivato alla macchina mi sono reso conto che il vetro posteriore lato passeggero è stato sfondato e il mio zaino con dentro computer e cose di lavoro è sparito (avevo queste cose in macchina poiché ho raggiunto il luogo nel pomeriggio, arrivando direttamente da lavoro). Da notare che la mia macchina era parcheggiata quasi in prossimità dell'ingresso.
Oltre alla mia sono state aperte anche altre 2 auto.
Prontamente informati gli sposi, loro si sono rivolti ai proprietari, i quali mi hanno liquidato dicendo "mi dispiace, ma la telecamera di cui disponiamo è staccata e non funzionante". Nessuna chiamata ai carabinieri, niente di niente.
Mi sono arrangiato a chiamare i carabinieri (ero fuori nel parcheggio da solo a dare indicazioni agli stessi sulle altre auto sfondate), ho prontamente sporto denuncia e fatto di tutto la sera stessa per cercare di limitare i danni.
Nessuno è uscito a vedere o a sincerarsi di ciò che stava succedendo, anche alla presenza dei carabinieri.
Scrivo questa recensione ora perché ho terminato un paio di giorni fa il calvario del recupero dati di lavoro e della sistemazione della macchina.
Ora, so per certo che l'avere molti ospiti da gestire per un evento quale può essere un matrimonio sia di per se stressante e molto impegnativo, però, davanti ad una cosa del genere, mi sarei sicuramente aspettato un aiuto in più e maggiore empatia da parte dei gestori del locale.

09/02/2024: Siamo tornati alla Corte di Grè e come sempre ci si sente a casa. Polipo con patate verdurine e riso per me e una pizza con burrata e ciliegini per mia moglie. Una bontà .... Grazie a Paolo ed a tutto lo staff sempre al Top.

05/10/2023: Newly managed restaurant, we had dinner on Saturday evening. Excellent meat quality. Professional service. Prices in line with what is offered. Restaurant that was missing in the area, I recommend it to lovers of grilled meat 👏
25/07/2023: We were able to visit La Fiòca on very short notice. The young man gave a wonderful explanation of all the steps in the winemaking process, and also during the tasting. Slighty suprised we had to pay 46 EUR for the tasting, eventhough we bought a couple of cartons of their wine.

VINAE Franciacorta Restaurant

03/12/2024: Purtroppo una pessima esperienza: dopo aver soggiornato all'interno del Relais decidiamo di cenare lì e partendo dal menù al quanto poco invitante e dozzinale a parte qualche piatto, (in un contesto del genere uno si aspetta qualcosa di più tipico e particolare) iniziamo con un baccalà mantecato con focaccia croccante e a seguire spaghetti alla chitarra con gamberetti, lime e pecorino.
Arriva il piatto con tre cucchiaiate di baccalà cremoso impiattate senza garbo e un pezzettino di qualunque schiacciatina confezionata del supermercato.
Arrivano gli spaghetti: semicrudi, asciutti e mantecati con pochissimo sugo a base di gamberetti di bassa qualità. Lasciamo praticamente tutto e solo dopo un bel po' si preoccupano di come sia andata, per addolcirci ci allietano dopo offrendoci degli ottimi biscotti della Lidl.
VINAE VERITAS è che il tutto è inaccettabile per la location e i relativi prezzi.
17/09/2024: Wir haben das Restaurant spontan zum Mittagessen besucht. Die Auffahrt zum Hotel ist sehr beeindruckend, allerdings stellte sich heraus dass das Essen mehr als enttäuschend war. Bereits beim Lesen der Karte kamen erhebliche Zweifel um welche Art des Essenszubereitung es sich hier handelt. Alle Fischgerichte und viele andere Bestandteile der Karte werden mit einem Sternchen versehen als Hinweis auf gefrorene Bestandteile. Jedes Gericht ist mit den Allergenen deklariert. Da wir auf Unverträglichkeiten Rücksicht nehmen müssen, waren Rückfragen u.a. zu Sojabestandteilen und anderen Allergenen verwirrend und leider nicht zielführend. Das Personal konnte nicht sagen, ob es sich hier um Bestandteile der Rezepturen der Gerichte handelte oder nur der Hinweis auf mögliche Spuren der Allergene. Jedenfalls passen die deklarierten Allergene vielfach nicht zu den Gerichten. Wir hätten hier eigentlich gehen müssen, doch das Wasser war bereits serviert und wir waren hungrig. Wir bestellten das Lachsgericht (gefrorenes Produkt) ohne Sauce wegen Unverträglichkeit mit Salat als Beilage. Das Gericht war eine erhebliche Portion eines unappetitlich aussehenden, erhitzten Fisches, der gerade noch akzeptabel schmeckte. Der Salat war in Ordnung, direkt aus der Kühlung zum selber anrichten mit Essig und Öl. Das zweite Gericht sollte gegrillter Kabeljau (vermutlich gefrorenes Produkt) sein, der ebenfalls erhitzt wurde und nicht gegrillt war. Die Haut labbrig, der Geschmack ältlich und nicht akzeptabel. Die Beilagen, Bohnen und Bratkartoffeln waren geschmacklich belanglos. Wir haben lediglich wenige Bissen der Gerichte genommen. Das Personal reagierte auf unsere Hinweise mit Achselzucken und Desinteresse. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste im Restaurant, dafür saßen wir aber im Durchgangsbereich für eine Gruppe, die wohl auf das gemeinsame Mittagessen in einem Nebenraum wartete. Wir fühlten uns gestört und nicht willkommen. Wir haben bezahlt und sind gegangen.
