27/10/2025: Let's start with the good things: the service was acceptable, the prawns and mussels were passable, and the appetizer was too. The place is very small, but that's not the problem. Perhaps it would be bigger if the entrance wasn't cluttered with kitchen equipment: a water dispenser, a huge blast chiller right at the entrance, and a coffee machine. Okay, I guess these are choices dictated by necessity. We read the menu; nothing special. We order the seafood risotto: not paella, and certainly not 1kg of deconstructed white rice topped with mussels and prawns. And yet: that's exactly what we get. In a single paella pan for the whole table. It's announced with, "Here's the paella." Now, in gastronomy, names matter. I'm not going to go into what risotto and paella are; it doesn't matter now. Or rather, it matters a great deal, but in this context, it's decidedly superfluous. What matters is what we received: a generous 1 kg of parboiled white rice (probably with a generous amount of glutamate, i.e., a good bouillon cube), very boiled. Because it's different: well, because by boiling rice in abundant water, the starch dissolves, the rice loses body... And it doesn't form any internal creaminess. It's also certainly not creamed, not risotto-style... More details for connoisseurs, obviously. Obviously, we sent almost all of it back. "Do you want to take it home?" (They asked us twice). Me: "No, we'll ignore it." Then at a certain point, a woman from the kitchen (I assume the cook) comes out into the dining room and says to the waiters: "The kitchen is closed, I'm fed up..." (it was 1:45 PM). We, of course: message received. The waiter asks us: do you want anything else? Yes, the bill. €157. Two seafood appetizers (passable, it must be said) and a 1 kg pan of Carnaroli rice. Boiled rice. With mussels and prawns on top. Those were passable, too, it must be said. Oh well.

27/09/2025: We had a lovely and relaxed evening with delicious food. Every course was a culinary delight, and the service was friendly and attentive. Bravo to the kitchen for the delicious and varied dishes.

21/10/2025: Great view. Friendly welcome and good service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't "breathtaking." The appetizer (seafood) wasn't as fresh as we're used to near the sea, in our opinion. The main course was okay, but nothing like the many positive dining experiences we've had in Piedmont. There, we were always surprised by absolutely top-notch cuisine. It's a shame that we had rather negative experiences here. We won't be visiting the restaurant again.

22/08/2025: One of the best burgers I've ever eaten, quality ingredients from the bun to the meat, to the various extras. The fries are excellent. Since it takes a while, I'd just bring the beers with the food. Well done.

01/11/2025: A pastry shop full of sweets and candies that says "we don't have any left" to a child who comes in on Halloween night to trick-or-treat and is sent away empty-handed... We've said it all. Luckily, in Pietra Ligure, there are other shopkeepers with more empathy and sensitivity.

25/10/2025: I ordered the Dolcissima cake for my aunt's birthday. The cake is delicious and beautifully decorated. The pastry chefs are excellent.

07/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The cutlet is crispy and juicy, the pizza is super flavorful, and the mussels are incredibly fresh! Every bite is a real treat, and the staff makes you feel right at home. A place that warms the heart and the palate. If you're passing through Pietra Ligure, you can't miss it!

30/09/2025: Hello! We were passing by and decided to stop in. It's atmospheric, cozy, clean, and fresh. The staff includes people with disabilities. It's very nice and welcoming. The food is delicious, the meat is tender and juicy. The portions are large, but the taste and quality are not compromised. Our order included: pizza, meat, pasta, ravioli, two salads, sorbet, two ice creams, 500 ml sparkling wine, 1 liter of water, plus compliments. The bill was 80 euros. Five people tried it and were satisfied. It makes us want to come back and try new dishes. Thank you so much! Delicious, fast service, and attentive attitude. It's simply a warm place! 02/11/2025: Luckily, we had a jazz show coming up. We ordered a glass of wine and draft beer (they no longer had it), so we ordered a "craft" beer (which costs more). They brought us a panache and a Mongozo... (There were only 4 tables). And they took the order first from a couple who arrived later. We had the panache exchanged for the glass of wine. But the Mongozo isn't craft, the glass for both was VERY dirty, and the fries that arrived 10 minutes later were nasty. Welcoming on Halloween.

10/11/2025: Great service, the older lady was very nice and smelled lovely :-) We had mussels and pizzas, all very good! Only the grappa at €6 seemed expensive for Italy...

27/10/2025: We went to eat at Da Mimmo restaurant in Pietra Ligure and it was truly a fantastic experience! We're Belgian, and the waiters were very kind. They spoke to us in English and even gave us a menu in French, which was greatly appreciated. The pizzas and pastas were delicious, typically Italian 🍕🍝 The staff and owners were very friendly and cheerful, and the atmosphere was authentic and welcoming. A truly excellent restaurant, we recommend it without hesitation! 🇮🇹✨
