14/10/2025: A hidden gem in the Levante hills. La Zita is always a sure thing: good food, homely service, and reasonable prices. If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat a wealth of traditional products, you've come to the right place. The restaurant is so homey, it almost feels like entering a private home and being welcomed as part of the family. The highlight of the menu is the exceptional first courses, followed by the Ligurian-style rabbit, very juicy and not at all gamey. To top off the meal, the bill is incredibly low, in contrast to the rest of the restaurant. Excellent value for money.

06/04/2026: Their gelatos are amazing, as the other reviews say, but their tiramisu is simply otherworldly. We returned to Levanto just to eat their tiramisu before leaving. It’s definitely one of the best places in Levanto or the Cinque Terre region for both gelato and tiramisu.

14/02/2026: If I had to name the best gelato in Levanto, for me there's no doubt: Cremeria Garibaldi. The flavors have an incredible, full, authentic flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the perfect balance between sweetness and intensity. The creams are velvety, enveloping, never cloying; the fruit flavors are fresh and natural, with a real, not artificial, taste. It's always difficult to choose because each flavor has its own character and personality. Even the texture is perfect: just the right amount of creaminess, without being heavy. A gelato that's not just delicious, but memorable. For us, it's the absolute benchmark in Levanto.

04/04/2026: We visited this restaurant in Levanto with three adults and two children and had a really good time. The service was very friendly and attentive, always available even for the little ones, which we really appreciated. The prices are absolutely reasonable and well-proportioned for the quality of the dishes. We ate well, but a special mention goes to the seafood risotto: truly excellent, flavorful, and well-cooked. Overall, a positive experience that we recommend, especially for those traveling with family.

29/03/2026: A perfect dinner: we dined as a couple on a Saturday evening and it was a delightful experience. We were warmly welcomed, and the attentive and thoughtful service continued throughout the evening. We began with a delicious anchovy appetizer, followed by seafood ravioli with seafood ragù, which was the best dish of the evening and the one I would recommend to anyone who comes to this restaurant. A flavorful, authentic first course, rich in seafood, simply perfect. The catch of the day, in this case a sea bream, was equally as delicious: oven-baked, one of the best fish I've ever eaten, unfussy, plump, and perfectly cooked. We finished with tiramisu and lemon cake. All in a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'd put it among the top two or three restaurants in Levanto, highly recommended!

11/04/2026: Inexperienced service, sleepy waiter, only the owner was competent. Dirty glass, very sloppy floor cleaning after a dropped pizza, the pizzas themselves were okay. Questionable cleanliness.

13/09/2025: We’ve been living here for almost 20yrs & have tried many many pizzas. This place 100% has the best pizza in the Peligna Valley. Great prices to eat in or take away.

12/09/2025: Gorgeous location, very kind and courteous wait staff, but what struck me most were the truly generous portions and fair prices. Usually, when you think of a restaurant, you'd think the prices would be outrageous and you'd still leave hungry, but instead I ate divinely, exquisite food, and I left truly satisfied and happy. Highly recommended!

22/03/2026: The staff were truly kind, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. One of the few places that wasn't intimidated by the (advance) request for vegan food; in fact, they even created a truly delicious off-menu dish! The vegan dish already on the menu was also excellent...highly recommended! ...The wine, too, was top-notch!

09/03/2026: I specifically wanted to eat dessert, so I stopped by. The place is very cozy, friendly and clean. The service is fast and impeccable. What I didn't like was the soufflé. Unfortunately, it was overcooked. Only a small part of the inside was runny. For me, this is not a real soufflé. Although the taste was delicious, the only thing that was objectionable was the texture. Unfortunately, they didn't have dessert wine.

14/02/2026: One of the few places open for lunch this time of year (February 26). The cuisine is simple and good, mainly piadinas, sandwiches, and bruschetta, but they also offer a few first courses (such as spaghetti allo scoglio and trofie al pesto). The fried anchovies are excellent. The staff is friendly and the place is cozy. Prices are reasonable.
